Cheap prices for cheap tools. If your going to just use a tool occasionally this is a GREAT place, if your going to be using it every day or week, this place isn't for you. Where else can you find a entire set of hole saws for $3 and a giant hammer for $1? One annoying thing is they don't have any of the isles marked, so you have to search around every isle to see if they have what your looking for. I came here after getting a cold-shoulder from it's sister on Lakewood Blvd. The cashier, Brenda, greeted us the moment we walked into the store despite the fact that she was busy helping other customers. My dear husband loves this place so much I bought him a gift certificate for Harbor Freight for his birthday. I think he should get an office there, he spends so much time. I was Mislead in regards to the $39.99 membership. I love this store and can always find something that I need. I just wasn't sure why the girl at the check out counter didn't tell me how much the membership cost. They must get a commission for signing the annual membership saving plans up. read more

4.5 stars for what it is. Lots of tools for a great price! Lines may be long but deals are worth it. From demo tools to hand tools and electricals, etc. Give it a shot before you go to the big box stores like HD. Always look for coupons. They always have 20-25% off coupons. of course their products aren't as great as others, but for many products they don't have to be that great. It does smell like bad plastic in here since i think 99% of their products are straight from China. Look up reviews before buying! Don't expect the employees here to know everything. It's not HD. Buy here if you know your stuff. Lots of cool gadgets and tools to work with. I wouldn't trust a lot of their electricals here, but other gadgets are great. One of the employees here is a joke. I'm not difficult to work with, but just because she wasn't able to scan my 20% off coupon, she made me go home and get it. EVERYONE uses the 20%-25% coupons here and they're all the same. Not unique and not one time use. Scan the last guy's coupon thats sitting on the counter! I do have to say DENNIS is awesome. He's always fun to talk to and I love checking out with him. The store checkout is always busy and staff is usually hard to hunt down for help. Last time I came in, the coupons on my phone were not accepted; I've been using them on my phone for the last several years. This threw me off guard a bit and so I'll avoid this location if I can. read more

Good prices, although you kind of get what you pay for in terms of quality most of the time, but often times the quality doesn't make that big of a difference. They have a pretty broad selection and variety of tools. The staff is also hit or miss. There are some super friendly ones, but sometimes you run into a grumpy one. Overall I get what I need here, no complaints. read more

This store has no AC. It was brutal getting around in it to do shopping but soon turned worse. I had 4 items. 2 I wanted on 1 card 2 on another. The cashier had no idea how to do it and charged me total price of 78. The he calls manager over and I mentioned how hot it was hoping he would hurry up and he replied the temperature was fine with him. Meet arrogant obnoxious manager.The manager asked the problem 5 times. 3 from the cashier and 3 from me. I was asked for my phone number 7 times between the 2 of them. In the heat of the store it was getting ridiculous. He charged me again then said he refunded me and then charged me again in total I have been charged 4 times. I was furious. I got nothing from the manager but "STUFF HAPPENS ALL THE TIME" Well then ho hum how about giving me the money you just over charged me and maxed my card out on??? Now I have to go thru credit card companies and dispute all these charges because I am not dealing with Mr. obnoxious again. They should fire him and make the cashier manager he doesn't know how to use the cash register but at least has customer service skills. And yes the other poster is right this store has a horrible smell I am assuming because its hotter than hell in there and they don't use air. Needless to say NEVER N EVER NEVER again. keep your coupons keep your cheap tools my 39.00 coupon cost me almost 300 dollars today due to overcharges and warranty on item. I'm done. I wish I could give minus stars. The customer service at this store is extremely lousy. I had to call 7 times to get the help I needed. The last call I made I asked for a manager and was left on hold with no answer. I finally hung up after being on hold for 15 minutes. I consider Harbor Freight a descent store but I will NEVER go to this location. Whomever runs this store and/or works there should be fired, they belong at a McDonald's flipping burgers. read more

Received some coupons and one was for free batteries. I cut the coupon out and when i went to pay i was told 11$. Told the woman that couldn't be right then was told to look the coupon up on my phone since it didn't have a barcode. She went to ring someone else up and i walked out. I was able to visit there yesterday for the first time and had the most disastrous experience there. They tried to sell me a drill that was in the box and had been previously purchased and brought back and re-rapped. I recieved 25% discount on it, but when I opened it in the store to make sure all pieces are there, I noticed the charger was missing. When I asked for a charger they said I had to pay the full price. The manager Andy was rude and unreasonable ,,, They waisted 20 minutes of my time and gave me a refund. I tried to explain to him that a retured item when was re-rapped for resale should contain all parts in it, but he disagreed with me. He needs more training before he assumes that position.....
