The staff here are very nice that's why it's hard for me to write this review. The actual bowling experience here is egregious. The pins will set up in 9 pins, plain stop working, or will just skip turns not to mention the god awful oil in the lane patterns making it impossible to bowl here with house balls ZERO STARSSSSS read more

Met a friend here on a Saturday night for quick meet up. It was perfect! Music wasn't blasting, but we could still here it and was able to talk. There's a bar and grill next door. We went and got drinks. They weren't that strong but they were good. Nice and clean atmosphere. The people were nice. This might be my new low key dating spot. Lol read more

Nice folks working there, decent prices and we got some open bowling in. I think we were the only ones there for open bowling on a date day, but we could walk next door and get a cocktail fairly cheap. Definitely a must for a bowling alley to have that kind of partner next door. Probably the regions most reasonable bowling alley these days! read more

I'm not much of bowler, but it's a fun change of pace every once in awhile. Harbor Lanes isn't very big but it's a fun place to go. They have all the necessary things like bowling balls and shoes. There's a bar attached where you can get a cocktail or a snack and bring it back to your bowling area. The management is helpful getting you set up and started. Last time I was there it was $7 for two games and a pair of shoes. How can you beat that? Like most bowling alleys these days you don't have to keep score yourself, it does it for you and if you do something like get a gutter or better yet a strike, the animated screen lets you know about it. All in all, a fun way to pass an evening with friends, don't worry if you can't Bowl very well, that's not the point! read more

I came here the day after Thanksgiving with a group of 6 for some causal bowling (by no means experts here). Our initial experience was a bit of a joke. Us: Hi we would like to bowl. Them: Welll..... we may have one or two lanes open but I'm not sure. Do you want me to check? Us: Umm, yeah. Thats why we are here. We only need one lane... so having only one or two open is not a problem. Them (with a pleeeaassee say no tone): Are you going to need shoes. Us: Um yeah. Is that ok? (at this point feeling like they really wish we would just go away) Once we prepaid for our lanes and got down to the bowling we had a great time though. Compared to bowling in San Francisco... this place is CHEAP! It was great. I think we paid $25 or so for 2 games and shoes for 4 people. I also remember a sign that said Sunday and Monday nights are discounted after 9 pm (closes at midnight). There were all sorts of groups there (including the most adorable "Friday Senior Bowlers") proving that this is a great spot for all ages. We enjoyed a pitcher or two of beer and our bowling very much. read more

Went in with my daughter on a Saturday afternoon. There were nearly a dozen empty lanes. The surly woman behind the desk scoffed at my request for one, saying "I'm not sure" and acting frantic at an old computer. She went on to tell me a birthday party was arriving soon and that no lanes were available, despite the aforementioned empty ones. A birthday party of that size, eh? And let's try and forget the two lanes taken by the loudly-swearing guys right as you walk in. We would have taken less than a half hour to play some games, and we did, down the street at Lakeshore Lanes. Harbor Lanes is not quite kid friendly. Not friendly at all in any way, shape, or fashion. At any rate, I certainly won't be back to contribute to this rude woman's paycheck. read more

First experience bowling on the East side; very friendly staff, good equipment, nice food/drink options and decent prices. Will go again.

Shows were new. Place was clean. Bathrooms were freezing cold. Service was very good. Good place to go bowling. I appreciated that they had 8 pound bowling balls that weren't made for child size fingers. They set the 5 of us up on two lanes with a back and forth program and really kept us hopping. The best bowling alley in SCS! Later hours, draft beer, late night food(close at 11 but still serve) and comfortable atmosphere. Prices are very reasonable, especially compared to Shores Lanes. Only giving 4 stars because bar staff. The gentleman at the bowling front desk is awesome! read more

AWFUL - very outdated and is not even worth bowling... Their bumpers are a piece of junk... No way I'm coming here EVER AGAIN! Go to other WAY BETTER bowling alleys (like Pampa Lanes on Van Dyke) I could make a better bowling alley in my backyard using plastic pins. read more

This is by far my favorite bowling alley. They always have great specials going on throughout the week (usually after 9pm) and the food is actually really good! The things I have ordered there I would've never considered at other bowling alleys but I listened to the waitresses on their recommendations and haven't been disappointed yet. Of course the burgers and pizza are really good but my favorite is the chicken caesar wrap with the seasoned fries... anyways if you're looking for a good bowling alley with nice natural wood lanes, good food, good drinks, and good prices (I mean who's not?) then this is your place. read more

This place is awesome low prices good equipment good food and that's all you need for a good experience at the bowling alley. I really recommend this bowling alley for others who do not have a lot of money because this place is cheap. I recommend it to me because I live 30 sec away from it driving but now I see it is a great bowling alley do I recommend it for all people of all ages. read more
