Great place, great ambience and great system. The best golf simulator I've played and I'll certainly be going back.

Had the appetizer steak bites which are very tasty (just wish there were more for the $18 price) and my husband had a burger which he loved, perfectly seasoned and an actual burger that was more than a 1/2 inch thick. I ordered fish and chips. It was probably some of the best I've ever had, lightly breaded but not the usual tempura batter (you know, the stuff you bite into and it's soft and white on the inside or completely falls off the fish). They were crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked on the inside. We will definitely be going back there.

Are you guys going to respond to the alleged sexual predator issue going on with your head manager Jacob Wutka or what? A post (the text in quotes below) is circulating around, there are plenty of comments from past employees corroborating your guys hiring of and keeping predators employed and these comments talk about this issue being existent years ago. Time to address this regardless of what is going on. You cannot run from this. We will not let it happen. The circulating post: "Meet Jake. Jake is a current registered child registered sex offender who is a current employee at the Hamlin Pub in the downtown Rochester area. Jake was charged with having sensually charged contact with a minor under the age of 18. Jake was involved some time back in a sting operation ran by none other than Chris Hansen, which led to his initial charges and current status as a child sex offender. As a former employee of hamlin pub who worked closely with Jake for the last couple of months without any knowledge of his past crimes, I am very well informed by the fact that, since he is employed as a head manager at this Hamlin Pub location, has minors from high-school around the surrounding area (adams, rochester, stoney creek) currently working and employed under his care. I made my own attempt to confront management and ownership of the fact that they currently employ a registered child sex offender with the management and supervision over minors in high-school, I was subsequently and permanent tresspassed from the property on part of management and ownership as a result of bringing this information to light. Please do your due diligence to make this individual famous around your own communities and around the rochester and rochester hills areas as well. Please share this post with friends, family and neighbors so that we can cultivate a culture of accountability towards these deplorable sex criminals within our own communities. Jake clearly shows within his own mugshot that he expresses no remorse for any of his actions or criminal conduct, and should be placed in an environment in which high-school minors are frequently employed at. While there is a hint of the old time speakeasy in finding the place (it's really not that tricky) walking down the stairs and into the beautiful bar is just absolutely lovely. It's dark, and low lit, and the ambience is chill with a hint of hush hush and just visually so appealing. This level detail isn't just left for the eyes, the drinks here are very well made. Every single one I've had the pleasure of trying has been well balanced, flavorful, and yet somehow appropriately spirit forward. And the barstaff who puts these delectable mixtures together are absolutely well versed, knowledgable, and willing to adjust any of their drinks to your own personal tastes. Of course, the prices run a little higher, but I found them to be typical of what we see, but in this case I think the experience is well worth the cost. You're getting impeccable aesthetics, fantastic service, and wonderful drinks and it's so hard to find places that meet all three anymore. I will absolutely be coming back and highly recommend.

This cocktail bar is small, low ceiling with low lighting, and simple decor. Their menu is a small book of interesting, and priced as such, cocktails. Each has a fun name. They do offer a small list of beer and wine, and obviously you can order a standard drink as well. They have a few snack offerings, but there is no full menu. A friend and I went at the right time, the late end of happy hour on a Friday, but before any crowd. We did not have a reservation, but they were quiet when we arrived and we were seated immediately. They do have a 90 minute table limit for busy nights. The service was fantastic all around. We both enjoyed our drinks and the atmosphere. This may be the best place in Rochester for a drink.

I sat at the bar where Mae very thoughtfully helped me navigate through the extensive been menu. I was very impressed at the selections! She brought me three tasters and, honestly, each of them were fantastic. It seems fitting that I chose a pint of Conflict of Interest in the midst of a difficult decision! The food menu is just as impressive. I'm certain anyone can find a favorite. I ordered the blackened chicken gnocchi and found myself in flavor heaven. I've made and eaten a lot of gnocchi and this is easily the best I've ever had. Mae agreed with me and suggested it's because there's cheese in those potato pillows. I dunno but I would eat this every day if I could. If I thought they'd keep, I'd buy extra and take some home. Meanwhile the bar crowd was friendly and chatty as we watched soccer on a few TVs. It was pretty chill, everyone just kicking back with great beer, tasty food and a worldwide sporting event. That said, I'm not waiting four years to come back!

Sat outside most recently and brought our toddler. She got to run around and explore. The fineapple cider on draft is my favorite and so refreshing. Menu wise has so many options. We went with the beer bites and cheese. The food cane out hot and the cheese is so good with the pretzels. The kids grilled cheese was a big size and tasty. Love the shoestring fries. So impressed with all of their drinks they make in house. Came another time for dinner with a friend to catch up. A large group took over the dining room. Stayed way past they were done with their food and drink. They stayed 5 hours and disrupted the restaurant. Our waitress gave us a small discount for how annoying these people were. She said staff were even over them.

Right now it's Hanana Nights and the menu is Cuban. We ordered cocktails while we decided on dinner. My wife ordered Hotel Nacional and I got Call Your Mother. For dinner I ordered the pork shank and my wife the pineapple burger. She liked the burger, but stole most of my plantains and rice! The pork was delicious. Cooked to a perfect tenderness that fell off the bone. It was super flavorful and, while I didn't get much of the rice or plantains due to my wife, they were excellent. I would love for Havana Nights become a permanent restaurant, but look forward to whatever Hemmingway does next!

We had a nice table which started quiet and proceeded to get louder and more vibrant as the night went on. Service was fine and fast throughout. She had the Smoky Maintain which was strong enough for her to ask for an extra splash of pineapple juice. I had an Amaretto Sour which was nicely presented and tested good enough. It wasn't as strong as hers though. She ordered their Salmon Bowl which had both teriyaki and boom boom sauce; tasted good and was an ample size. My steak and frites came. The steak itself needed a little more seasoning and could have been larger but the truffle fries were top shelf. The chimichuri sauce was good too. The key lime pie for dessert presented well, but it packed the tartness one wants. There was too much whipped cream and not enough lime. That was the only real disappointment. Everything else was pretty great. A 4.6 rounds to 5.

Finally stumbled in on a Sunday afternoon, and secretly loved it here. When I walked in, I immediately thought "is this an off shoot of Red Coat Tavern before it was Red Coat Tavern? Why does it look like a Mafia place from the 1970's with a 1995 sports bar feel?" I find I'm still thinking about this place even days later. No, it's not the coolest place in town, but I kind of like it because it's a typical bar with regulars and randoms like me. I decided to grab a mid afternoon bite and didn't want to be bothered with the usual places as I have grown tired of them. Also, there's this new thing called Yelp Cash Back, and this was the closest place to me that does it, and since I don't know much about Yelp Cash Back, I wanted to see if it really worked. Anyways, I scoured the menu and found a BBQ burger that sounded right up my alley. The bartender was also my server, and she was miraculously running the whole area by herself. Mind you, when I got here, it was dead. There was me, in a booth far far away, and two older dudes who were clearly regulars watching football on the TV's over the bar. Clearly, the two guys and the bartender were familiar with each other, and I secretly loved it, and watched as they interacted amoungst each other. Gave me a cheers feeling that sometimes you don't always find anymore. My burger came out with fries, and it was a okay. Nothing exciting really, but good non the less. I polished it off with the fries and downed a sprite since I wasn't in the mood to have any booze. Another reason I like this place is because it seems to be douchebag free. Honest good people without an agenda. As time went on during my meal, more people started rolling in. Some of them were regulars, as they were warmly greeted by name from the bartender, and asked if she could get them their "usual" beer and meal. Again, loved it. I should also give my props to the bartender. She was hilarious without knowing it. When I walked in, she greeted me immediately, and asked how I was doing. After my eyes adjusted to the light, I realized she was bundled up in about 12 coats, a hoodie, and stated that she was freezing since the cold air was blasting her every time the door opened. I have no clue what this place is like when it's busy, but it's a nice casual atmosphere. I would gladly return in the future even though it's not the most remarkable place in town, but I still love it. The food was decent, loved the atmosphere and for $9, I got a burger, fries and a Sprite. $9!

Our food ended up taking forever to come out so we were rushed to hurry up and eat and leave when it came out. For appetizers we got the chips and dip and salads. The dip had a long piece of hair in it and we immediately sent it back and the waiter looked at us like we were crazy for not wanting it. The salads were pretty good - big portion with lots of fresh toppings and dressing. For entrees we got the buffalo chicken sandwiches and the grilled chicken plate. My mom asked for no buffalo and it came with buffalo on it so she didn't love it. Mine on the other hand was pretty average. It was a large portion and had a good amount of toppings on it that altogether was very flavorful. I did ask for ranch on the side when i ordered and it took awhile for it to come out. The chicken plate was just about the only good dish we had. It came with a good spread of well prepared food and was a healthy option on the menu. The worst part of this experience was when we asked for bags for left overs the waiter told us to go get it ourselves so we had to awkwardly go behind the bar to grab it. Overall the service was terrible- everyone was rude. The food was slightly above average but with the hair in it and messing up our orders i would not recommend. Even though this is in prime location there are so many better options in the area. I could see this place having potential for coming for drinks with all the tvs or on the rooftop in the summer but thats about it.
