At the tome of drop off we paid the amount that the Insurance sent via check. We received a call from the insurance company on July 22 at which we reached out to the shop after being told the vehicle should be completed by July 26. He tells us he got the approval for the remaining parts. On July 26, we contacted him again for updates. He had just ordered additional parts so then now the car is still not ready. On July 31, we contacted the insurance again because we were losing our rental car. We were then told by the insurance company after speaking with the auto body shop that they ddin't order the parts in a timely manner. The parts were only ordered when he recieved the money from insurance company. Also on the july 31, we were told that he recieved the wrong part and the new part should be in the next day. On Aug 3, contacted auto body shop again for updates. We were told the car was ready to be picked up. We go to pick it up and the work was not completed. Were then told that he was out of town and he had his buddy finish it. We then sent a video showing what was still wrong. He then tells us he needs 20 minutes to buff it out. We sent him photos on August 5, about bringing the car in. We are told wed afternoon, thurs or fri. We tell them 1ish on Wed then that changed to 3pm due to his availablitly. We also contacted our insurance company to see what we can do. The bumper is the wrong color, the parts that were on the estimate were never replaced, the bumper and headlight aren't clipped on. He tells us and the insurance company that he would have to see it in person. We along with the insruance compay advised them that we would need a rental car. This is a job that would take more then 2 days!!! My husband leaves to go meet him today Aug 7 at 3pm, he then gets a message he isn't there!! We have sent photos along with video to the owner. We have a copy of everything that was sent to the insurance company and the original parts are still on the car or even used/scratched up and things weren't even completed!! File complaint with BBB, no responds back from the owner then either. BEWARE of the shady work!
