From Chicago, first time in Georgetown. Stopped in at BCH for dinner. Here are some thoughts: -This might be the largest restaurant I've ever seen! We walked for what seemed like miles to our seats : ) -We sat down and looked at the menu, the Mac and cheese caught my attention, so I ordered it. -Mac and cheese had chicken and andouille sausage. I enjoyed the sausage, but the chicken was bland. -My wife got the barbecue burger and she loved it! Fries were good. I'd probably get that next time : ) -Good service and ambiance. Recommended.

We are visiting family in the Georgetown area and they've been wanting to try this very cool place. Sean was our server and was really nice and very attentive. Great advice on ordering what we would really enjoy. My wife and I shared some of the happy hour plates including the pork chili verde, the 512 tacos and the Tinga chicken nachos. So very good and we absolutely gobbled it down. Not pictured is the meatloaf and the smothered pork chop that our family enjoyed. They too tore it down and left nothing on the plate. Sorry for not getting some pics of that to share...Prices were great, 6 dollar happy hour prices for us and reasonably priced for the entree dishes too. Definitely recommend and maybe leave a little room for dessert as they had some good key lime pie and peanut butter pie we wanted to try but were too stuffed!

Meet some family here for dinner. Overall, a nice little set up, very friendly staff, and a great experience. We started with the chicken nachos, very good and a perfect size not overwhelming. Our group had steak burrito, Verde, enchiladas, fish, tacos, and street tacos. Everyone enjoyed their meal and we're happy that we chose this place

Grabbed a dinner in Georgetown. Opted for Blue Corn Harvest. Ordered a Harvest #4, which is basically queso, guacamole, and salsa paired with chips. The salsa had a pretty decent flavor. But I spent most of my chips on the queso, probably because I never really had queso before. This one had onions mixed into it. The regular chips are wheat based; to make the dish gluten-free, they change out their chips for tortilla chips. My wife got the verde chicken enchiladas, and I got the pan fried catfish. The verde sauce was sweet, not savory or sour, but it did go well with the enchiladas. The catfish was breaded, and it was slathered in some creamy sauce. The veggies that came with the catfish were way undercooked, especially the stray green bean. The catfish itself was great, though I could have passed on the breading, which was a bit excessive. The rice that came with both dishes was al dente. Water was provided. I did have to ask for additional water. When coming in, we were told there would be a fifteen minute wait because some of the staff were running late. There happened to be a donation drive setup immediately at the entrance of Blue Corn Harvest, so I made a donation, and then we walked around and came back after 15 minutes. The restaurant itself is dimly lit. The menu indicates gluten-free options, or those which can be modified to be gluten-free. The waitstaff seemed to be rushed.

Solid joint - came with a group that has different tastes and Blue Corn was such a good choice. Everyone liked their dishes..I had the fish tacos and would def get them again. Steak burrito looked good. Everyone had fun and enjoyed the food and would def return when I am in Gtown or try some of their other spots.

While the food was delicious, our service was terrible. I was there last Saturday early evening with four other ladies and were seated behind the host. Our waitress may not have introduced herself. She brought a friend enchiladas with onions which my friend specifically said to leave off due to an allergy. She didn't split my salad with another friend even though she communicated that she could. She never asked if we wanted refills of our drinks. She got most of our bills wrong. She forgot I had ordered the appetizer. After that correction, I just left $3 with my tip to cover my drink that wasn't on my bill. While the ambiance was fine (quiet) waitress service has a lot to improve. She must've had something else on her mind.

We were walking around the square on xmas eve and were pleasantly surprised to find blue corn open at 7:30pm. No wait for our table of two and the staff was awesome, especially considering they're working xmas eve. We had a bottle of tempranillo and it was pretty good. For food, we split the oysters and the meatloaf. Both were fantastic and it was a perfect meal.

This restaurant is located just off the main square of the City of Georgetown. Parking is plentiful in the area. If you can't find a spot just outside of the restaurant, you can easily find one elsewhere on the square and then take your time walking to and fro enjoying all of the shops and people in the area. If you go to the restaurant's website, there is an option for making a reservation. Please note you can't really do it within a two-hour window of wanting to eat. It was 6 pm, and we wanted to book a table right away, but the system said we couldn't get a table until 9:30 pm. Instead, we decided to just show up. Good thing we did because the place is very large and they had lots of available tables without any wait time at all. My husband always tried to eat healthy and not have any future weird GI issues, so he went with the salmon. It was cooked well done, but had flavor and flaked easily. I chose the chile rellanos washed down with a small margarita. Food and drinks were all good. Service was on point. We wanted for nothing. We sat in a booth next to a window. It was too dark outside to enjoy people watching. The restaurant or at least our booth was configured in such a way that we felt we were in our own private space. Seems like a good place for date. The restaurant was dark inside too. The lighting was dim. Perfect for a Friday night.

CFS was mostly batter this time.

Went for lunch on 9/23/25. This is a cool lunch spot in Georgetown very close to the square. We took some family from out of town. The restaurant is always bright and comfortable. Our server was very friendly and did a great job. I ordered my favorite which is the CFS and I was a little disappointed. It came out and looked great. It turns out it was a large piece of batter but a small piece of steak. Loved the batter but steak was a little tough. The mash was good but not very hot. My brother in law got the steak sandwich and he loved it. That will be what I get next time. Our wives liked their lunches. Great place for lunch.

I have been coming here for a while now and I'm pleasantly surprised evetytime I come by. The service is one of the best I have! Friendly staff, laid back atmosphere, and great food are a combo for good times. I usually get some drinks and appetizers, but this particular time I was craving pork chops so I went for it. Little did I know that the Texas bourbon sauce was going to be so delicious! What a nice balanced set of spices and flavors. Thank goodness I shared this since the portion is very generous. You just can't really go wrong with any item of the menu. Wether you're at the bar or at the dinning area, coming here has been a real experience every time.

Food was FRESH and DELICIOUS. Wait staff was amazing. Manager came by to greet us. Very impressed with everything. We shared the meatloaf, which had great flavor. When we are back in the area, we will definitely go back!!! Highly recommend

If you're in the beautiful Georgetown area, you should definitely consider swinging by Blue Corn Harvest There is a lively yet somehow chill ambiance. The decor and environment is lovely. The staff is helpful, pleasant, professional, and efficient The menu offers a variety of delicious dishes, and the food comes out in a timely manner looking and tasting incredible Cheers!!

    Ground Beef Enchiladas

We love this spot. The food is always really good. Each time I try a new dish, I'm always so glad I did. Tonight was the ground beef enchiladas, which were wonderful. I'll definitely get them again. The service was friendly. Eduardo checked on us just often enough and made us feel welcome. The atmosphere is laid back. We went spur of the moment and were seated within 15 minutes. The noise level is just right. And the food is reasonably priced. This isn't fine dining, but it gets five stars for consistently providing really good food, with friendly service at an affordable price. It's a mainstay and it deserves every one of its stars.

My husband enjoyed watching soccer on the television. Our server promptly gave us menus. Got us waters, chips, two salsas and some guacamole. My husband ordered shrimp enchiladas and I got chicken Flautas and my husband got a strawberry margarita. The food came out hot and quickly. We enjoyed it immensely & the guacamole was fantastic. My husband loved his margarita, but I had to drive home! Ha ha. And to top it off, dinner is very affordable here. Their prices are very good. Our server was Angie and she was amazing. She was very attentive to my meal because she had the knowledge of my food allergies. Our service was so good that I'm going to ask for Angie every time I come here. I mentioned to my wife that these kinds of places often have kitchens and boy we were in luck. The man in charge, Albert, descended on us and started simultaneously asking what we wanted to order AND praising the virtues of his tamales, among other things. But he had me at "Birria". After being introduced to birria tacos by my lifelong friend, Joel, I have been a huge fan ever since. So we called an audible and decided to get an order for takeout (Albert could convince you to buy anything, I think). We got two orders of Corn QuesaBirria Tacos and the Jalapeño Popper Specialty Taco. Both were great and I especially liked the Birria Tacos, even eating my wife's portion... "You going to eat that?" The restaurant has many tables and there's enough room around the tables so one can talk comfortably without being overheard, I like that. There's plenty of room around the tables for a wheelchair and it's easy to get through the restaurant with a wheelchair, which is nice. When I arrived, the restaurant was almost empty, which was strange to me, given the early evening hour and past visits. This place has been jampacked, standing room only. The slogan on the wall "Andamos Al Cien" Is a great goal for the bar area, but on my visit, it fell woefully short. The house margarita was barely drinkable, although the presentation was nice, the actual beverage itself in the glass was something less desirable/drinkable. The bartender commented when I ordered my next margarita, with specific ingredients, he said that should make a much better beverage than what you had the last time. Although, It was better, it was not a a great drink, it was not well balanced, something was off. The food itself, the chicken fajita quesadillas was very average food, and I have to question the chicken fajita component. The chicken did not taste that great and it tasted and appeared to be more like a shredded chicken than a fajita chicken. The flavor just wasn't up to the standard of what I have come to know and expect from a great chicken fajita. Service itself, was OK, but nothing spectacular. The bartender did a decent job of keeping my alcoholic beverage needs filled, but my water glass did not receive the attention it deserved and I had to frequently ask for it to be refilled, when I would expect that your normal server/bartender would see that it was empty and either refill it or ask if it needed to be refilled instead of waiting for me to bring it to their attention Super friendly, bartender, and I have heard great things about their food, so I am thinking I may have just caught them on an off night and will give them another chance. If this place was jampacked like it normally is, I think my experience would have been much different.

This is a very scenic and modern upscale restaurant near the heart of downtown Georgetown. The interior is nicely appointed and understatedly elegant. The inside and outside restaurant and bar areas are expansive but easily outstrip the provided parking. There is also street parking nearby, but don't be surprised if you wind up walking from nearby public lots or garages. I can easily see this place being packed. We had a reservation and were promptly seated and offered water service. As with most Mexican restaurants, there's an expansive menu, so we ordered drinks while we perused the menu. I found the Encantada margarita to be quite tasty, but it was a bit expensive. At $11 for a single serving with house liquors, closer to what we've come to expect locally for a Mexican martini (theirs was $18 with house, $24 with call). That's a bit over-the-top IMHO. We were offered complimentary chips and salsa; I remember the chips to be excellent, and the red salsa just right for my taste, but others remarked that it was too spicy. Our waitress (Paulina) joked that the only thing less spicy was their ketchup. They also have a green salsa, which is even spicier, but that we all skipped. The food menu has a lot of chef-inspired offerings. I tried the Grilled Chicken Tacos (Grilled Chicken, Cilantro, Onion, Fresco Cheese) at $16. I had one on flour and one on corn to taste the difference in tortillas with the same ingredients, along with a side bowl of black beans. I found them flavorful but also on the small side for the price. Additional tacos are $5 each. No rice was offered. This was one of their least expensive plates. We had a great time and our drink and food service was nothing less than excellent, but I couldn't help but come away feeling that, for a check that tabbed in just under $100 (with tip) we should have had a fuller tummy. Would we come back? Maybe. We'll have to explore their other options and perhaps graze more off the appetizer menu; however, less than $5 separate most of their appetizers from their plate dinners. This is a place to go for a culinary and visual experience, not an everyday meal.

To my surprise, he was absolutely right. All the appetizers and entrées were great. I ordered a burger, which isn't what you'd typically expect at a Mexican restaurant, but it ended up being one of the best burgers I've had in the area. I'll definitely be coming back to try more items and hope we get the same level of service again.
