Glad I tried this, but probably wouldn't get again. - Kaya Toast: This was my surprise favorite, loved the kaya ('coconut') jam, which was on the sweeter side with notes of caramel. The bread was perfectly toasted, and the slabs of butter were complementary. Persimmon is also my favorite fruit, so points given for that haha. I may or may not have gone to my local Asian grocery store to purchase kaya jam the next day. Service was friendly and fast. The only thing I'll mention is that some of the larger tables had tea sets but nothing indicating that sitting there wasn't allowed (later we learned they have afternoon high tea most days). The shop is relatively small and was packed when we went on a Saturday night so not having 3 large tables available was a bit inconvenient. I'd maybe suggest setting up before/after hours, rather than when other paying customers could be using the space. Regardless, this was a unique experience, 8.5/10 would recommend!
