    It's easy to find

What an amazing find Outside the Perimeter East! It's the dining hall at Oxford College of Emory University. My mother kept telling me to go and I'm so glad I did. Wow! These Oxford College students eats soooooo much better than I did back in the early 90s at Oglethorpe University. The big draw then was the gigantic Belgian waffle iron where you could tediously make an oversized waffle and put unattractive frozen strawberries and suspiciously crispy whip cream on it. Then you could get a poor quality burger MADE ON THE GRILL or opt for some of the gigantic pile of spaghetti noodles and choose either tomato or Alfredo sauce that simmered for hours in a gigantic pot. All of these choices and worse were a big disappointment when you're trying to get some study energy. In hope these kids know HOW GOOD THEY HAVE IT! They ought to be really on point with this Bon APPETIT unlimited organic fuel for studying. We weren't even there during the real lunch and dinner hours (on the weekend brunch is from 11-2). We were there at 3 in the afternoon and had a delicious organic salad bar with items like kale/apple salad, cucumber tomato salad, delicious cream of mushroom soup, oven grilled pizza and a massive amount of other choices. All for only $8! $8 for all you can eight! I mean EAT! The food was so delicious, nutritious AND wholesome. It's like the FOOD AND SALAD BAR at WHOLE FOODS- almost. Maybe even better. Not as many choices as Whole Foods but still sooooo much fresher and tasted better. The manager obviously has an eye for excellence. She instructed the pizza maker to make us some pizzas and it took a minute but I'm so glad he made them. I don't eat many carbs but I had to sacrifice the weight loss and eat 2 more slices of chewy high quality cheese pizza. I don't usually eat the crust but it was the kind I actually wanted to eat even though the pizza part was gone I'm telling you if you live nearby or you don't this is a special find. Every item is marked for calorie content too. There is a nice room for parties available for rent. don't know how Emory affords to feed their students this well. All of us old non student should take advantage as well. Maybe it will make us smarter. The only con was seeing the students there and feeling sorry for them having to study and write papers all the time rather than just write yelp reviews to kill the time like me!

Gnocchi, creamy with mushroom & spinach ... so good! Thanks!

It was my first time visiting Oxford Dining. We wanted to check out the food for catering to our upcoming sales meeting. One of the hot food served was gnocchi which was far better than the one from my favorite Italian restaurant. The tomato sauce was so fresh. The salad bar - everything was so fresh. Butternut Squash Soup- the best! so much flavors. Thumbs up! Thank you, Bon Appetit, for the wonderful experience!

Students and faculty alike know that the unseasoned, unimaginative, and overall, underwhelming dishes at Lil's ain't worth your time.

I speak from experience as the hanger steak my brother saw online and wanted (which made us pick this restaurant) was not available this particular evening. On to the better stuff: I really liked their welcoming vibe and relaxed atmosphere. Complimentary sourdough bread was immediately served as well as celebratory champagne for my little brother's birthday. We started with the hush puppies appetizer and the French onion dip, which came with a bag of Zappo's potato chips. For dinner, I ordered the four cheese pasta, which I was informed is made in-house and is leaving the menu very soon. My only complaint was the size of the wine pours. When I inquired, they stated the pour was 6 ounces. The kind surprise was a generous top off when they sensed my disappointment. Their kids' menu -which isn't printed - is a little limited. Kids can pick from grilled cheese, chicken skewers, and a hamburger. One kiddo had a hamburger and my son snacked on their shoestring fries. All other adults ordered burgers and everyone seemed to enjoy their dinner. One more complimentary surprise showed up near the end of dinner which was a miniature Keylime pie in celebration of my brother's bday. Back home, we have very few restaurants that offer so many complimentary items. That definitely sets this restaurant apart from others. Also, having a small menu means they likely give lots of attention to the entrees they serve. Definitely recommend City Pharmacy!

For drinks we ordered the cloud atlas (off menu) and a vodka gimlet, gimlet was good but a little off balance. Complimentary corn bread was pretty tiny and a bit dry. For entree we ordered the crab cakes and shrimp and grits, both very tasty and the stars of the night. Highly recommend. We still had some room for dessert so tried the chocolate molten lava cakes, mine not so lava like but still tasty!

This is a sports bar that serves alcohol (full bar) & traditional sports bar food with a Tubby's twist is what I call it. The food is at for everyone but you can bet it's good. When I say with a Tubby's twist I mean pickles & peppers on everything. You can ask for all that to be taken off especially the salads. The employees are down to earth & provide the best service you can get. The kitchen does get backed up from time to time just like any restaurant. So if you want a place that caters, babies or puts you on a pedal stool this isn't your place. If you want a place to watch sports, drink beer, eat wings, burgers etc this is your spot.
