I got into an accident not to long ago and had to find a place to repair the damage done to my rear bumper cause the insurance company that took responsibility did not have any specific shops to send me to. This one is was walking distance so that one was the most convenient. love the fact that Vic knew what he was doing. I didn't know i was going to need a rental when I 1st arrived there, but Vic patiently told me when I am ready with a rental drop it off and his crew will get started. It took a day longer but with the results they produced I'm glad they took their time on it, it looks like nothing happened. Fantastic results! I took my truck in with multiple dents and scratches from side-swiping a concrete pillar. I had several quotes ran by some of the other shops around and almost every single one told me it was impossible to fix, and that the panel needed to be replaced. Javier thought otherwise and sent me a quote that was a fraction of the cost. A week after taking my truck in, it looks brand new. Look these guys up on yelp and man it was worth it! The project manager Vic was very helpful and professional. Went to 3 other body shops that are on Yelp and they just give you the run around and try to sell you more. Especially if they just see that it's a woman they're dealing with. Pacific Collisions didn't even call me back, guess they didn't want to work after the long weekend. But all that aside went to Hard Tech Auto Body and I knew I had found the right place. Vic was nice and explained the process to me , he gave me a quote(on paper)on how much the bumber chanfe was going to be. It was a great exchange and the price wasn't bad either. Went home talked over with the husband and decided to go with them. Took the car the next day, made a small deposit(which at the end will be deducted from the total price) and Vic said it will take about 3 days. It took less than that! It was about a day and a half And he even went above and beyond by fixing and getting a part for our lift trunk door (it wouldnt stay open)he got the parts at a cheaper price and was nice to just charge us for the parts and not the labor on that. I had taken my car in about a month ago. It was totally damaged, needed all brand new front parts ( hood, lights, radiator, water pump, fan, etc.). He promised me a month and surely he delivered. Was up and running as good as before. He even told me once I pick up my car he would give me a free polish! When I could not make it on time before the shop closed he came after hours to open the garage and give me my car. That was super nice of the owner(Javier) to do this. do not go to this place! do not trust anyone in this shop! they are liars and all they want to do is steal your money! the owner javier and his diana daughter the "receptionist" there will lie to your face with no compassion! i only went to this place bcus the rep agent from my insurance karmina from aliyahias insurance (affirmative) recommend me here after i got in a car accident , she said this javier guy would take really good care of the situation and that he wouldn't charge any storage fees bcus of the whole accident and insurance issue that we were having , long story short' my insurance wanted me to release my car out of this shop so that they can take it to a storage fee location while they figured out what they were going to cover- well this javier man started calling my insurance threatening them that he was going to lean sale my vehicle, when my insurance adjuster called me to inform me i didn't believe it , i then confronted javier and he said this wasn't true! so i believed him bcus he seemed so willingly helpful to all the situation, two months later my car was still under investigation with my insurance so i decided to make an aggrement with javier and i paid him $2000 cash to start working on my car , he was going to charge me $4000 total and i was going to take my insurance to court to get re-imbursed. well two days later after i paid him cash, javier called me saying someone was there to pick up my car with authorization from the insurance, i called my insurance and they said they never authorized anything, i drove to to shop to see what was going on and sure enough i get there and my car was no longer there , co-parts company picked it up so i called them and to my surprise javier jimself called them to pick up the vehicle bcus it has been "abandoned", while im sitting at his shop with coparts on speaker he still haa the nerve to deny it - he said he was not there when my car got picked up and that they took it without permission- he also said he disnt get payed anything- as soon as i called 911 he refunded my $2000 back but still denied everything- i had gotten plenty of warnings from my adjustor but i didnt believe him, thankfully i just got my car back today and i spoke with the driver who picked up my vehicle that day, he said he personally handed javier a $4989 check for my car and he was there while the car was taken and he personally gave him the keys himself! i cannot believe what kind of person this man is! ofcourse it all makes sense, he got payed for doing nothing but being a ripp off! but i will make sure to get justice bcus i can only imagine how many more other people have been victims of this type of fraud by him! fraud fraud fraud! pleaseeee do not trust him!!!!!!! read more
