I go to this Hardee's at least 3 to 4 mornings a week. Always order the super bacon biscuit meal. Half the time they open late or tell you nothing will be ready for a while. After you set at the drive through window for 10 minutes. Well this morning I ordered my regular, when I got home and opened it, it was just a regular bacon biscuit. Very small didn't fill me up. I was charged for the bigger breakfast sandwich but that's not what they gave me. Anytime you say anything thing to them about the food or service they just laugh and blow it off like it's no big deal. I just think I've had enough. Yes I do enjoy that meal but it's starting to be an issue for me. I think it's time to find somewhere else to get my morning breakfast. This makes me sad but I've given them more chances than most people would. read more

We are in town for the weekend. On both the way in and the way out of town we stopped at this Hardee's for a quick travel day meal. On Friday, there were 2 other customers in here and they seemed completely overwhelmed. The guy taking orders was rushing and seemed frazzled. They didn't have unsweetened tea on the counter, and the sweet tea canister was skewed like they were about to refill it, so I asked him to fill my cup in the back. While waiting, I fill my husbands cup with diet Dr Pepper. The liquid was almost totally clear so I dumped it out and asked him to fill that too. The front of the soda machine was removed and the store was a mess. Add that to the frazzled employee and I figured they had just had a rush and haven't had time to gather themselves and clean/!restock/ replenish. I went about my way and the food was as good as to be expected for a gas station fast food place. Fast forward to Monday and I stopped back in there for a quick bite on our way back out of town. Deja vu, still only a couple of customers, still a mess, sweet tea canister still skewed, although the date sticker was updated, still no unsweet tea. The cover was still off the soda machine and the diet Dr Pepper was still pouring mostly clear liquid. Due to the place still being a mess, I am concerned how sanitary the food prep area is. Again, food was ok but that will be our last visit there. Somebody really needs to go in and clean/ organize. read more

They actually have milkshakes and ice cream in general but no whipped cream. Unlike McDonalds they have nothing.

Ordered food for my wife and I, it came out and mine was a different meal, we are pretty sure hers was different, no bacon on it and then had things on she asked to be taken off. One of the thing was instead of no mayo it had what seemed to be extra, and a large hole in the middle of the patty. Normally not one to ask for thing to be fixed, but both of our food came out either way messed up or not at all what was ordered. I walked back up and I think talked to a manager, she was just right there and acted in charge. She apologized twice and took it back and told us she would bring it out when it was done, it was like someone completely different had made even, so much better and she brought out a couple of the apple pie things they have and apologized again and said she hopes we enjoy it. Waiting in the drive Thur for 30 mins. They waited 10 minutes to take the next customer in line just so it would be closing time. Never got food Would of have been a 45 min experience at 9:30pm was stressful. read more

I like Hardee's..and I really want to give it a better review, but I honestly can't. Each time I have gone here, my order has either been *severely* messed up (literally got all the way home on the other side of Elkhart, and opened my burger box to JUST a burger patty with ketchup on it. I had ordered a 1/3 pound burger) , or my food has been dry and/or cold. Staff isn't very friendly, and the drive thu wait times are very unreasonable. Nearly every time I've been there, I've either been the only one in the drive thru or there have been only two or three of us waiting. Please work on your restaurant! I cross my fingers each time I go that they'd step up their game..and each time, I'm disappointed. read more

I will never eat at this place EVER again! Lazy is an understatement. During a slow less busy part of the day (no lines) I ask if I could get my food fresh because I know they like to serve cold burgers at times. The cashier rolls her eyes and reluctantly gives my order over the microphone. They clearly didn't make it fresh because it came up in seconds and when I tasted the fries they were cold and when I asked for fresh fries the cashier tries to convince me they were fresh, I had to ask her again ma'am can you please make me some fresh fries and she stomped off in a huff grabbing the fries and dumping them in the fryer. Finally my fries were done but I was afraid to take my eyes off her in the event she wanted to add some "extra sauce" as she walked to a side of the store my eyes could not follow only to get to my truck to eat only to discover my burger tastes dry and old like it's been sitting since the noon rush.
