Drive thru
Carol B.

I'm giving this fast food location 4 stars because it is a very good version of the chain The speakers works the drive thru, the staff was courteous and prompt, and articulate I wanted a low carb version of a few burgers. They each came just as I ordered. The burgers were hot and juicy. The tomatoes, lettuce, and onions were very fresh. I loved that they were willing to wrap my burgers in lettuce so I could cut the carbs. The women's bathroom was very clean and well stocked This is the place I stop on my route because of the reliable food and staff

This isn't a milkshake. But it cost me almost $4.

Burger was cold. Didn't receive my fries. We had used drive through and didn't want to return.

Chicken & Fries tasted like old grease that had been sitting there for hours. Inside is always locked for some reason even in the daytime.

Why are the doors locked at 7:30pm on a Saturday? Isn't the lobby supposed to be open until 9?

Go now while you can! They're closing their location down sometime this summer (from what I heard)…read more All the food they serve is picture perfect. It all looks really good and is a great size serving. But personally, I feel like the burgers and sandwiches are lacking seasoning. Don't get me wrong, you definitely taste the beefy-ness of the patty's and the meats, but I find myself having to add mayonnaise, ketchup, and salt and pepper on the patties and fries. I've been here 4 times, the 1st and 2nd times were not like that, but my 3rd and 4th were. Service was good, order at the counter then take a seat where you'd like and they'll bring it out. Self-serve on drinks. Small cozy and tight dining space, but it works! I will miss this place. 8/10

A shame to hear they are not renewing their lease and will be closing. The owner told me they are opening a different style place downtown and may re-open a place like the current joint in the east side but it will be a while. Really unfortunate as the burgers here are top shelf. I had to try both a dog and a burger - both Carolina style. Their chili is amazing so it really set both the dog and burger off. I added grilled onions to the burger and they were cooked perfectly. The fries are fresh cut and flavorful but they are cut very small. One recommendation to the owner, go to a more substantial fry. I highly highly recommend this place. Get in here before they close!!

I was eating a standard all the way dog. My buddy started asking about whether NW offers live music. We were informed that an open jam commences every Thursday at 9. "9:00pm? Must not be bluegrass. . . That's fine, I'm in." I thought to myself. Dropped Jared off. Got out of work attire, grabbed a couple guitars, and went back to Sparkle City to see about this jam. It wasn't quite what I would call a jam, but lemme tell you. There's this four piece band who plays a bitchin set to get everybody in the mood, then, something that seems like the bastard child of open mic and karaoke ensues. Musicians are encouraged to come lay something down. They can play solo, or they can be accompanied by a band who can quickly learn the song. What an opportunity, do John on the drums, Shawn on the slide with an SG, Drew (?) with a hollow body Telecaster and (sorry I forgot the name, but) Santa Ray Cyrus on the more than 4 strings bass, offer to amateur musicians! You can lead a band for a few songs! This is the kind of bar where all walks of life commune. The staff is prompt and polite. The drinks are affordable. Douchebaggery seems to be minimal. Oh yeah, if the hot dog orders aren't too backed up, Josh (the executive chef) sits in on the drums. He can flat out play! Thanks for the gracious hospitality, band members and bar staff. I'll be back as time allows. Great job!

Suitcase Social Club Dispatch No. 47: "Timmy vs. The Lumberjacks"…read more If you've ever wondered what happens when a grown man with sales quotas, a mild caffeine imbalance, and the attention span of a golden retriever discovers competitive lumberjack sports streaming on the bar TV... well, allow me to submit Exhibit A. I wandered into Main Street Bar & Eatery for what was supposed to be a "quick bite between quotes." Instead, I became spiritually welded to a barstool while the TV blasted a man in flannel yeeting a chainsaw like it owed him money. And the fried pickles. Good grief. Those things ambushed me. One minute I'm thinking "I'll just have a snack," and the next I'm waist-deep in a basket of fried circles of temptation, crunching my way into oblivion while pretending to "work." My laptop was open, sure, but let's not lie to ourselves -- I got absolutely nothing done. I was too busy yelling advice at professional lumberjacks like I'd trained for this moment my whole life. Tim the Suitcase Regular Rating Breakdown: * Atmosphere: Cozy but with the unpredictable energy of a log-rolling final * Food: Fried pickles that could ruin a man's productivity in the best possible way * Service: Friendly, fast, and kindly nonjudgmental of whatever fever dream I was living in * Entertainment: 10/10 involuntary lumberjack immersion If you're looking for a place where you can lose an entire afternoon under the noble banner of "I swear I'm still working", Main Street Bar & Eatery is the arena. Suitcase Social Club™ stamp of approval: Earned.

The lady at the counter provided great customer service and food came out in 3-4 minutes. Considering how busy it was then, I like how efficient they are like Chick-Fil-A. Unfortunately that's where the compliments end. Pricing for the combos are slightly above what you would pay for at a fast food burger spot. In addition, the menu when ordering will make you feel like you're being nickel and dimed. I didn't mind paying for the queso, but paying extra for each of their sauces felt extra. There's only so few fast food restaurants that charge for extra sauce. The food portions were surprisingly small. Yes sliders are small, but the fries portion felt very sparse. It might have been the smallest side portion I've received at a fast food restaurant. The food is good for what it is. I'd prefer this over your typical fast food burgers, but by only so much. All orders are packaged to go, regardless if you choose to dine in or not. There are outdoor tables that you can sit there and eat if you'd like to. If you're looking for something quick in the area, good service, and a small burger meal, this in my opinion would be a good place to go. Otherwise, I can't suggest going here unless you really want to try it. I'd like to be wrong and try it again with some sort of change.
