I working with Lee at caliber Lee kept telling me the wrong fender my car was ordered which made me keep the rental 32 days which I was 2 days over my limited to keep the rental I was given the impression from Lee at caliber he would get the insurance company to cover the 2days extra days I tried calling Lee st caliber he made me think he could get me the extra 2days but wasn't the case I had to pay out of pocket for the 2 extra days ..Lee was supposed to call and let me know if he could make thst happen unfortunately thst was not the case. I didn't get a call from Lee at caliber I decided to go to caliber to see if my car was ready I did i tried calling Lee at caliber before going over to caliber they kept telling me Lee would call me back that he was at lunch it was after 2pm and I didn't get a call from Lee so after taking the rental back I decided to go to caliber to see if my car was ready. It was but I didn't get a call from lee at caliber to let me know..i just went on my own hoping it was ready. If I hadn't went to caliber that Friday I would have had to wait until Monday because they are closed on the weekend..i asked why didn't I get a call from him explaining he couldn't get my insurance company to cover the extra 2 days or could caliber reimbursement Lee advised caliber doesn't reimburse Lee said that was stated in the agreement thst i signed for them to do the work. That wasn't brought to my attention when I signed the release for them to work on my car. I wished Lee at caliber had been up front with me instead of gaslighting me that l He could get my insurance to cover the extra 2 days..Lee kept insisting he could get the insurance company to give me the 2 extra days over my limit. So I had to pay for those 2 extra days out of my own pocket..I'm a retiree and funds or limited I had to borrow the extra money to pay for the extra 2days..I'm this review to warn anyone who does business with caliber that they don't have the power to make my insurance company to pay for the 2 extra days over the limit that is stated in my policy .

My wife took her car here to have some belts replaced, which seemed to go off without a hitch. However, after driving a few miles afterward, the car completely died. Seems that the alternator miraculously gave out, and garage refused responsibility. So we forked over some more green to have it towed back and alternator replaced as well. Flash forward about a year and a half, and the belts are squealing just as bad as before we took it to Cedar Taylor. Now I find out that the shoddy installation of the alternator caused a bolt to strip and alternator to come out of place, leading to more squealing. Bottom line: Cedar Taylor practices poor workmanship and refuses to take responsibility for their errors. Stay away from Cedar Taylor garage.

In addition, he was 10% off on the price that he quoted me for the additional work. Finally, upon my return home to Rochester, my mechanic pointed out damage that Bill had caused that will cost $200 to repair. Bill has been disingenuous and completely unwilling to accept responsibility for what has been done. In my view, he is neither honest nor competent.

The front desk employee is unable to provide any updates, answers, or assistance regarding the status of my vehicle and appears to have no knowledge of what is happening in the shop. The owner is never available and has been impossible to reach despite multiple attempts. I was forced to pay $9,000, even though no work had been completed at the time of payment. I was also told that a lien would be placed on my vehicle if I did not pay, which left me with no option. As of today, no meaningful progress has been made on my vehicle. This experience has been frustrating, stressful, and completely unacceptable. I would strongly caution anyone considering doing business here to think twice and get everything in writing. She secured an appointment time during which I could drop the car off and informed me they would call when the car was ready. Although, they don't provide rental cars themselves, I was able to get a rental car at the nearby Enterprise. When I got the call that my car was ready, I took a look at the car, which was looked good as new! The only thing they weren't able to replace was the clear car door edge guard on the door that needed repairing, but that was a minor detail in the grand scheme of things. My car otherwise looked perfect! The quote and the price I ended up paying was the same, which was great. While eating out after work a couple of weeks ago, someone backed into my car in the parking lot…read moreand shattered my back bumper. Luckily the car was still drivable; after dealing with the insurance company I needed to get the bumper fixed, which was actually a pretty big job since it included a number of the modern sensors to warn of blind spots and cross traffic. I went to a couple of the better collision centers near me that were highly rated on Yelp. I ended up picking LJI because they had a great facility and really took charge and reassured me that I would be in good hands. The LJI in Beachwood (they also have a facility in Cleveland Heights) is located on Chagrin just East of I-271 in the same building as Choolaah. Once inside I was very impressed with how clean and modern the shop and the office are. The waiting room is very nice and features a small boutique. Once I arranged for them to get the claim from Progressive they handled everything including setting up the rental and let me know that they could get me in the next week. Dropping off the car was easy and the rental was there and ready to go. The estimate was that the car would be ready in about 1 week and they might send it to the Cleveland Heights shop. After a week I got a call letting me know that the car should be ready the next day and then a follow up call to let me know when the car was done. Picking up the car was also easy, the cost to me was only the deductible, minimal paperwork and of course turning in the rental. The repair job was excellent, the back of the car looks brand new, in addition they actually cleaned the car inside and out. Exemplary work and a great job of going above and beyond. I really appreciate how easy they made repairing my car, the staff is great, they communicated with me when they promised and delivered as promised. LJI is clearly one of the best auto collision centers and well worth using if you need auto body work done. I would highly recommend that you consider them.

Rehab detailing offers "professional" vinyl installing on cars, which is where i took my car for…read morethat service. After waiting almost 2 months, i finally got my car back. Only to find out there were massive bubbles, rips, lifting areas and all around just poor quality work done. Now for those reading; to vinyl wrap a car, it calls for removal of a few panels on the interior just to get the edges to lay and keep their adhesion. I had been missing a few parts to fully assemble my door panel again (which was not the condition it arrived in). After acquiring the misc screws and plastic pieces to correctly assemble my car again, i find that absolutely NONE of the screws were even tightened (1-2 turns max) my entire door handle assembly was basically just hanging. So on top of poor work, i had poor reassembly which has ultimately cost more money in the end. My vinyl still is not fixed and at this point im considering chalking it as a loss and pulling it off, that is how bad it looks and is peeling. If you value the appearance and care of your car, do yourself a favor and search for other shops. They claim to be professionals but i have never encountered a bigger group of amateurs.
