The front desk employee is unable to provide any updates, answers, or assistance regarding the status of my vehicle and appears to have no knowledge of what is happening in the shop. The owner is never available and has been impossible to reach despite multiple attempts. I was forced to pay $9,000, even though no work had been completed at the time of payment. I was also told that a lien would be placed on my vehicle if I did not pay, which left me with no option. As of today, no meaningful progress has been made on my vehicle. This experience has been frustrating, stressful, and completely unacceptable. I would strongly caution anyone considering doing business here to think twice and get everything in writing. When I got the call that my car was ready, I took a look at the car, which was looked good as new! The only thing they weren't able to replace was the clear car door edge guard on the door that needed repairing, but that was a minor detail in the grand scheme of things. I came the day after Halloween and they had an amazing selection of quality treats! Once you tell them what you need they have you fill out a simple form and then you wait in the waiting area for the technician to come talk with you. I waited for less than 5 minutes. The technician approached me, introduced himself and asked me to show him the damage. After I did, he sent me back into the warm waiting room and took some photos. About 10 minutes later he had the repair paper work drawn up and we scheduled a drop off date. He told me a rental car will be ready for me when I drop off my car and they will handle all of the paperwork. Overall a pleasant and efficient experience. My Advisor Faye didn't always give me good news (more issues as the car aged), but she was always honest and understood when I didn't authorize them to fix somethings due to cost. Six months ago I decided to replace this car with a new Toyota. The sales department didn't impress me. They didn't have the car I was interested in available for me to look at and offered no alternatives. I ended up buying it at Bedford Toyota, which was a wonderful experience. I have brought the new car into Cle Hts Toyota for a recall part replacement and the 5000 mile check up. Faye was wonderful as usual. I told her I didn't like the new AI scheduling service (it's awful) and she gave me a way to contact her directly. One great perk was the service department offered a ride to nearby destinations (I believe it was a 5 mile radius), however now rely on Uber. At peak times, like dropping off the vehicle first thing in the mornin, Ubers are difficult to book. I will continue to bring my car in for service her, but if they don't bring back the shuttle service and continue using Uber, I will time my drop off better so getting a ride won't be so difficult.
