We never come here because they don't have food during the week (strange), but they do have an amazing brunch so that's what this review is about. They have a couple of Benedict options, and the hollandaise is rich, thick and yummy. I had the salmon which was a winner. My wife had chilaquiles which she really enjoyed as well. One star off for not having straws for the drinks and closing the kitchen during the week - but the food and service is strong enough to make this a solid brunch spot. I have been here at least 4 times for brunch only, & it's pretty much always been a good experience. Most people come for the $13 deal and leave satisfied. The portions are good, the inside is a typical BK bar, and the outside space in the back is beautiful in the spring/summer. Keep in mind that the staff seats you when your entire party arrives. My friends were waiting on one more person, and since she arrived after a group of people with an infant, they were seated first. Our hostess had us wait until another table opened up, but she let us have a round of drinks on her, so that was sweet. I only ever come here for brunch, but it's always worth it. For $13 you get a meal of choice, a coffee/tea, and a mimosa/Bloody Mary. While this place isn't your typical "Brooklyn Brunch spot" - you won't find a write-up about it in some tourist magazine and their menu isn't particularly 'original' or 'inspired' - it's damn good. First of all - their Bloody Mary's actually good. Really good. I typically order the omelette that comes with THREE fillings of your choice, and all at the same price I might add (no hidden up-charges if you want bacon or cheese), and on the side it comes with potatoes that are seasoned with rosemary and sauteed with onions. They also have a very large and diverse assortment of condiments so if you're into mustards/hot sauces on your food, they have you covered. Here's my only downside: If you like to take your time, this might not be the right place for you. The staff is incredibly efficient and as this place fills up quickly, they like to turn over those tables. If you've finished your meal they want you out and they have no issue letting you know. I know they need the tables, but a person should be allowed five freaking minutes to finish before being pushed out of the place! Oh, well. Things to Know: They're cash only, they have outdoor seating in the spring/summer so it's best to go then. I come here most often for brunch, which usually comes with a ~15 minute wait, pretty much standard in the area and much less than some trendier spots. Everything I've had has been good to great with some of the best home fries around; try the cajun mayo with them too, but don't call it chipotle or your server look at you like you're an asshole, ask me how I know. read more

I consider myself a brunch aficionado and I was very disappointed by my experience here. I came here with my husband and brother for brunch. It was my suggestion to come here since, it had high ratings and I heard about the huevos rancheros. When we got out of the cab I spotted the long line that I always translate as a good sign. We were able to avoid the line and sit at the counter. The service was slow but the bartender lady was conversational a little after the rush. It's understandable. The allure for this place is that it comes with coffee or tea and bloody mary or mimosa and the entree for $12. I knew I wanted coffee and a bloody mary. When I ordered my coffee the bartender said it was self service. I had to battle through the crowd and get me a cup. The patron next to the coffee was remarking about the leak and she was doing the clean up after every pour. When I returned to my spot it was not too long for my bloody mary. It was a standard bloody mary. I ended up ordering the eggs benedict, no bacon and the hollandaise on the side. When my food arrived the potatos were covered in rosemary, too much. I couldn't even eat the potatos. The eggs benedict were alright. When I asked for ketchup, I received two ketchup packages. I find it difficult to understand why there are no ketchup bottles at a brunch spot. My brother loves his jam, as do I. He showed me his jam from the packet and it had completely solidified and he popped a square out. And jam is always the last step to breakfast for the sweet finish to the meal. And this jam could not even be spread. When I eat brunch I look for hot cups of coffee, perfectly crispy potatoes with a side pool of ketchup, the perfect egg dish and jam to end the meal. I'm from the NW and this kind of brunch can be found is so many places. It's sad that this sub par brunch joint has a line and people will leave thinking this was what brunch should be like. I don't think I will be back and I have made a list of my favorite brunch spots if you are looking for other options. The only reason I gave it 3 stars was because the bartender grew on me. I've sampled their brunch twice and thoroughly enjoyed it each time. B) Great drinking spot. There's a large back area that extends outside with pretty ample seating (great during those perfect sunny days!) and there's a ton of space within the bar itself. Harefied Road is one of the best brunches I've had. You first off can't beat the $13 deal that they offer. There's a bunch of different entree options and they all come with a coffee and alcoholic drink. I've tried the burger and Cobb salad when visiting. The Cobb salad it excellent! My friend who regularly visits Harefield Road turned me on to this salad. I switch out the hard boiled egg for a poached egg... Great choice. I do have to say that I happen to love the iced coffee here too. It's just great coffee. The one thing for me that is a little annoying is that Harefield Road is cash only, but at least they do have an atm inside. I would definitely recommend visiting Harefield road for brunch.
