My overall sense is that Carlos is fairly capable and experienced but either his team or him are not as careful as we had damages to our finished wood toe kicks and our lacquer cabinets looked like they had been dragged over nails as they were being assembled. I didn't appreciate that they made 0 mention of it at all and I had to point it out. As the homeowner, I essentially had to baby sit them for 5 days through the install since it felt like they were incapable / unwilling to read the kitchen cabinet installation instructions in detail and I caught several mistakes early on during the cabinet assembly that made me hesitant to leave it unattended. Carlos's attitude was particularly bad through the entire experience as well. Always made it seem like we were inconveniencing him or being too nit picky even if we caught some mistakes. At one point, he even threatened to quit after the assembly but before the installation simply because he had underestimated the complexity of the project. We did have a 1 day delay due to some plumbing / electrical issues but that's pretty typical as far as kitchen cabinet installations go AFAIK. In the end, they were able to get all the kitchen cabinets installed, albeit with a lot of effort from my end due to the more custom nature of the project. The price was affordable and the work was solid (minus the scratches) but for me the bad attitude wasn't worth it.

DO NOT COME HERE!!!…read more Incompetent staff that will try to get aggressive when you question them!!! I came in for a new stereo touch screen for my van on a Friday afternoon. Got quoted a price and was told that Saturday morning they would be available to install. Saturday morning I show up and was told the install would be about 2 hours and should be no problem. I was replacing an older touch screen the same size, that was controlled by buttons on the steering wheel, both volume and track control. 3 hours later, I am in the waiting area, when the worker informs me that although the stereo is installed, the steering wheel controls aren't connected to the stereo. In order for this to work, they need to contact the manufacturer. Since it's Saturday, the manufacturer is closed, so I'm told to come back Monday afternoon, because the manufacturer will be open and the issue can be resolved. Great. No problem Monday pm , I call when I'm on the way over to confirm they will have time to see me. Over the phone I'm told the manufacturer is on the east coast and is closed, so we agree that I will come back Wednesday pm. Ok. Wednesday I show up at 5pm. I'm told it's an easy fix and should take just a few minutes. 2 hours later I'm told the "specialist" for my particular model is out of town and won't be back until next week. He admitted that the guys working on my vehicle were "guessing" and "trying to figure it out as best they can". When I started to question why I was sold a stereo with installation, when the installer isn't familiar with my type of vehicle in the first place, the bald headed worker tried to raise his voice at me and ran away when I wouldn't back down. He also switched up the story about how tech support is only available thru email now... I get it, things happen, but don't lie and then try to get aggressive.

While pulling into my daughter's and son-in-law's home, I misjudged the turn and hit the retaining wall on the right side of my newer car. The damage was pretty rough--the wheel, tire, front bumper, and right fender were all scraped up and banged around. Total hot mess, and completely my fault. Just one of those lapses in attention. Thankfully, I had the presence of mind to take the car straight to Olsen Brothers Auto Body while I was in the area. John, the estimator, was incredibly upfront. He said they weren't sure it was safe to drive and asked if I'd be okay leaving it so they could take a closer look. I really appreciated his honesty and the way he prioritized my safety and my family's. The very next day, they called with an update--no frame damage, nothing major structurally wrong--and said they could likely have it ready in about a week. I was already impressed by the quick turnaround and clear communication. Then today, I got another call--days earlier than expected--letting me know the car was ready for pickup. Honestly, what companies communicate like this anymore? Not only was the car finished ahead of schedule, but it also came in under the original estimate. They took incredible care of it--it looks amazing, like new again. I can't say enough about Mo and the entire team at Olsen Brothers. If you ever find yourself in a situation--whether it's a small mistake like mine or something more serious--I highly recommend them.
