Last time one of them cut my nail too short after that I had pain as I walked. They do not take credit card. Of course for tips they only take cash. I didn't have cash for tip. I've been coming here for years just for my pedicures. they use to be really nice but the last few times I've come to get my pedicure they were really rude and rushed everything. couldn't even let my nails dry without them just making me pay right away (before I would always pay after my nails were done drying and I never was rushed). Stopped into this place last minute to see if I could get a gel Mani. They got me right in... It was a Thursday around 4 PM. I had Nicky, she was good & quick. For mani only you sit at a bar, it's very casual & there is a lot of chatting among workers. It didn't bother me, it felt very communal. I wore earbuds for a bit of the time to make myself happy. Mani was $30. Not crazy but if you go south or a bit east you'll find one just as good for cheaper. I've been coming here for about a year since we moved to Pasadena. Every experience has been really great and comfortable. They always take you right away even without an appointment. They have a lot of different services they provide and I always pay extra for a massage lol. Honestly, come here. Some of the reviews aren't amazing but I don't know why I think it's great. This place is beautiful. They have so many seats for mani-pedis and you really feel like you're swept away in a relaxing oasis while the amazing men and women beautify your hands and feet. Each chair is a giant massage chair so you are also getting a nice massage while you're getting your mani-pedis. I've always only gotten regular pedicures and gel manicures here. The regular pedicures with nail polish is $20 without tip and the regular gel manicures are $30 without tip. They do a great job for me...and that says a LOT because my fingers and fingernails are HORRIBLE (thank you bouldering), and I only go once every 3 or 4 months. =( I'm surprised they are patient enough to fix my fingers EVERY TIME! They also do waxing and threading here, but I've never wanted one. I love this place because of the ambiance. I honestly wasn't that impressed. I'd driven up from Orange County to see my old friend and to get our nails done. Having lived in Pasadena for over a decade, I recognized some of these nail ladies from former salons too. But when I arrived, one nail lady decided that she'd try and rush me to her chair instead of waiting for my friend and our appointment in 5 minutes. Can I relax after my hour and a half drive up please? She kept telling me my friend wouldn't come, that I just needed to use her. How rude. Of course my friend did come and she brought me coffee. We politely requested other nail ladies and they were quite nice. The quality was pretty decent, although I think my regular spot offers more services. All in all, I most likely won't be back to this salon as I don't live in the area. But I did not appreciate the rude initial greeting I received. I came here to do lash extensions ($80) - it was my first time, and I just wanted to try it for fun. My friend's co-workers at Salons Sessions had done it and raved, but didn't highly recommend it (after I got it done) because of the after-care results. I went in, she had the lashes spread on a dirty syran wrap box... hrm, used her unwashed, bare fingers to push them all back. Then she did a so so job with me... actually it was not very nice at all. I left because I couldn't really see the results very well- eyes were stinging from glue residue. I went back the next day after all my friends said it looked like shit and urged me to go back and have them "finish the job." there were some crooked ones, not all even, glued off the lash line, under the lash line, etc. She did a better job the 2nd time by filling it in and fixing it, but didn't tape my under eyes, got glue stuck on my bottom lashes, those got wripped out... got a drop of glue stuck on my cheek, which she instructed me to take off at home on my own after a feeble attempt at scraping it off herself. I was nice enough to let them refill their ATM machine with their own cash to charge me an extra $2 so they could get the payment in cash vs credit card and leave a sizeable tip the first time I came... I didn't expect to be given such "so so" treatment when I came back. In any case, results were "eh" and the lashes on the right side were half gone within the first 3 days... the left eye stayed on nearly 2 weeks... needless to say creative make-up was used to make the lashes look even on both eyes. NEVER AGAIN. 1 star because some of the girls were nice. read more

I live around the corner, and this is always such a great place to catch a quick mani/pedi. After you start your foot soak, they give you a menu, so you can choose from three levels of service for both the mani and the pedi. They always have two people working on you at the same time, so you get out of there really quickly. Jacky (the guy) did a great job on my nails today, and I didn't catch the name of the gal who did my pedi, but she was wonderful, too. Sue has also done a nice job on my nails before, too. They always shape my nails perfectly the way I like them. I'm always happy when I leave. Excellent service, and super nice staff. read more

This spot is cool but I think I like the DTLA location better. Parking is a bit easier here, with metered parking spaces right outside the front door and a 90 minute free structure just a short walk away. The biggest difference is that this location is a lot smaller. Not too big of a deal but the ambiance is different here. One problem I had was that my massage chair did not work well, only a couple of functions were operating on it. I also asked for a coffee from the coffee bar they have out, but my nail tech told me that their keurig machine was broken...a few minutes later another nail tech came over with a coffee for me (not sure how they made it but it definitely wasn't from the keurig). I really appreciated that they went the extra mile to make it for me. Overall I'm sure I'll be back. My nails turned out very nice, just as I would expect from Harmony. The ambiance may be different, but the service was good as usual. read more

Harmony is the best for mani pedi! They almost always have walk ins ready. After covid, they worked out of the parking lot in the back which felt clean and safe. TERRIBLE. I made an appointment for 11:30 For both manicure and pedicure. I arrived early and checked in. I watched them take three walk in clients. When my appointment time came...surprise! No one was available. I waited until 11:50 before I lost my mind (I had only an hour to do both as it was my "lunchtime"). i had an event that night so needed to get it done which is why I had made the appointment. NO ONE a SPOKE ENGLISH. No one had any clue how to "fix" the problem. They then rushed through both my manicure and pedicure and it bubbled as they didn't properly prep the nail for polish. The ladies could not have been more curt or less professional. Overall incredibly disappointed with the way the salon is managed and the quality of their work. DO NOT RECOMMEND. read more

I came here on a Sunday around lunch, and it was absolutely not busy. However, once I walked into the salon and was perusing the nail colors they were rushing me to choose a color. Multiple technicians kept telling me to "sit down, and I could look from my chair". I understand looking for gel nail colors from my chair but there's so many more options for non-gel colors. This was literally the fastest gel mani and regular pedi I have ever gotten. Just plain sloppy. I have never felt rushed like I did here. My sister and I will never step foot in this establishment again. Aside from the poor workmanship, their covid precautions were not great. Multiple technicians not wearing masks over their nose, and even a customer not wearing a mask at all (they did not say anything). 3 stars because of how quickly I was seen and the quality of the work. The ladies were all very friendly too. Came in as a walk in on a Wednesday afternoon and was seated immediately even with the salon full. Got a gel pedicure and it turned out great. However the pricing is where I take off 2 stars. I called ahead of time to see what a pedicure would cost, I was told $25 for regular and $35 with gel. While I was getting my toes done I decided to get a manicure too just to clean up my shape and cuticles (didn't get any polish), and because I was told it was $15. I was asked if I wanted to do anything extra for either service (callous removal, polish on my hands) and I said no thank you just the basics today. When everything was finished I was handed a $45 bill for my toes and a $21 one for my hands. I was honestly too flustered to say anything and kinda just said F-- it, whatever (regretting it now). When I went to pay with my credit card I was asked if I had cash and if I did they could give me a discount. I said no and she gestured to the atm next to me. Again I said I'll just pay with card because I don't want to pay the atm fees and she asked "well how are you going to tip?" Assuming I would be able to tip when I signed the receipt I asked if I could tip with the card and she asked "okay how much do you want to tip?" Flustered again I increased my already $66 bill to $73 because I always feel bad not tipping, and because of how quickly I was seated and treated very nicely. Overall I am just very disappointed by the uncertainty of the prices here and wish they were posted/advertised more clearly. Maybe what I was told was the cash price?? Again, wish it was advertised as such, then there'd be no problem.
