Had my 2nd nail appointment here on March 24 '21 because I was a hand modeling for a beauty ad and let me tell you- They did an Ah-mazing job. I showed the nail technician exactly what I wanted in a reference photo and WOW. She was able to copy it exactly the way it looks. She was detailed, careful with not cutting my fingers, and it was so fast too. I was in and out of there in less than an hour. I was probably in the chair for 45 mins and my nails are still in good shape even 10 days later. Hell yes, I'm obsessed. My first visit was Nov 2021, when I got my nails done warriors themed (Blue and Gold) for a basketball game *see reference pics*. Normally, I don't get designs, but I wanted to try something new. I got complimented on my nails by a lot of people and was so impressed how it lasted me 3 whole weeks. After reading multiple reviews on various Yelp pages I decided to try this nail salon. I requested a basic gel manicure and gel pedicure. I figured since their pictures of long nails are flawless they should be able to do a a basic gel manicure flawlessly. I was wrong. Just three days later and you can definitely see all of the imperfections. Nail showing with no color on the sides of my nail, uneven/bumps in my nails, etc. The service was NOT worth the price that was paid. The people are really nice though! I appreciate the lady's time and she was quick, but ultimately I felt like the quality wasn't up to par. I just went for a regular manicure, and the filing was done roughly so that my nails were still quite scratchy when I left, and the shaping of my nail was a bit haphazard and not consistent either. The nail polish was probably the worst; she did 2 coats, but she missed a few spots on the nail and you can see where it was thicker. Also, the nail coating was too thin so it didn't quite look finished when it was actually done. All in all, I left with spotty, scratchy nails and the next day I already had 2 chips. One good aspect of my experience is that the lady was very efficient and detailed on the cuticle cutting though, which was very impressive. If you come to this location, I would keep a careful eye on exactly how you want your nails done, and don't be shy if you need the technician to redo anything as I was. read more

I got my nails done about a week ago called ahead of time and booked and appointment for a pedicure with Jackie and full set gel x with Cindy. Jackie hasn't returned as of yet so I got Lucy and she was so nice and pleasant , my feet felt great and she gave a nice massage that really relaxed me. Cindy approaches me while Lucy is still doing my pedicure and ask what set am I getting I replied gel x she said okay she'll be ready soon. I get to her chair there's no smile, no how are you today nothing . She asked me what length I wanted I told her short she gives me medium long now let me say I should have asked her to cut them down more when she asked was the length okay with the driest blan expression she could give but I was feeling the length since I hadn't had nails for a while. She proceeded to do my nails and she ask me have I been there before I say yes she asked did she do my nails before I said no....... she just kept working so that made me think is it a problem?? Does she not want to do my nails?? Mind u the nail tech I had the first time I went which was months ago was a chair away and they were talking and laughing. The lady that did the first time was more nice and customer friendly but my nails had a ton of glue underneath that she ignored to remove after the service was over, she cleaned my cuticles before but they looked raggedy about 2 days after. I even went back to get a cut down and she still didn't file the glue that she could clearly see when she cut my nails down. It's sad that the owner Cindy has such a bad attitude for whatever reasons!!!!! If it's overwhelming to do nails and manage a salon than maybe she should take a vacation for a little while and regroup before she cross the wrong person that's not just gonna leave the establishment or write a review. I regret giving this place a try! They were working very rushed and unprofessionally. I had to keep asking them to do what my other nail techs usually do for me. My nails don't look like I got them done at a nail salon. Also, it's my first time seeing such a huge difference in colors between regular and gel nail polish. I wanted the same pink color for my toes and my fingers, but I wanted my toes to be regular polish and gel for my fingers. My toes came out blush pink and my fingers purplish pink and they said sometimes gel vs regular nail polish don't come out the same. Well this is a huge difference in colors and first time of me having this issue specially that pink is such a basic color. After arguing my point, she offered me to come back so she could redo it for me but I don't think I wanna deal with them anymore. Let me begin by saying that the four times I've been to Angel Baby previously have been wonderful. This time, however, has resulted in a mess that still hasn't been resolved. Last Friday, I went to the salon to get a fill, and Lisa rushed the job. I wondered what was going on when she didn't even bother to dust off my nails before applying the primer. Even before I was able to drive off after the appointment, I noticed that several of the nails had lifted. Lisa assured me that glue would solve the problem, and she sanded down parts of my actual nail so that she could apply glue. I trusted her, and left without thinking anything of it. Fast forward a week, and my thumbnail has separated again, so I called the salon up. They scheduled an appointment for today at 2pm, and they had Lisa work to "fix" the problem. (After leaving me sitting there for almost 45 minutes.) Again, Lisa assured me that all she would have to do would be glue the nails down, and so she did -- all the while telling me that I should've gotten a full set because these were so old. (They were not -- I got a full set two visits prior.) By the end of the night, my thumbnail has separated AGAIN. While the other manicurists I've had have been great, this job and the subsequent visits to fix the problem - which still hasn't been fixed - have been a real pain, and I may not return. If I do go back, you can rest assured that I will be asking to avoid Lisa. UPDATE: My thumbnail ended up coming loose on Sunday, so I booked an appointment with a different salon on Lake Avenue. The total cost there for a full set ended up being $70 - $20 of which was because they had to take extra time to remove the glue and other stuff that had been applied to my nails at Angel Baby. read more

I went to go do my nails done for the first time since quarantine. I was really happy with their set up and Angel Baby is taking all the necessary precautions for covid during this time. They have a tool santization station and dividers in between the customers and technicians. The person who did my nails is Van and I was in such awe when I got them done because I love this style of nails. They truly can do everything here and I am so happy with how they turned out.
