I've been coming here for over a year now and I always love the ladies who work here. I came here on Saturday after work and unfortunately for me I had a birthday party to be at, at 4pm. I arrived before 1:30 and left at 3:30 and for the amount of time being there the chairs they have began to get uncomfortable. Unfortunately, I've had some unusually bad luck with this place. Scheduling and Wait: Every time (even after making an appointment), I had to wait an extra 15-20 minutes to get seated. Even during my manicure or pedicure, the technician would be working on at least two other clients or chatting with another employee, which turned a 45-minute appointment into a procedure lasting over an hour. I've been careful about calling in early to schedule, but often the appointment is mis-booked. Facility: Honestly, I don't feel like this salon maintains minimum health standards. The interior is very old with stained tile floors and dusty shelves. There's an odd, putrid smell engulfing the room, especially towards the back of the building. It makes me nervous and leaves me questioning if basic hygiene practices are observed here. If the building is dirty, how can I trust the nail tools and foot baths are clean? I've been to a few other salons in the area and did not get this same impression. Service: Besides Monique, there are at least two ladies who are very distracted and unfocused with their work. Once, I was overcharged $10 because the nail technician put in the wrong price for the procedure. Another time, a technician took over an hour to do my pedicure because she kept chatting away with another worker. I've given this place many chances, but sadly, I will not be coming back unless some improvements are made. read more

There were 4 of us coming in for a 2pm appointment and there was a bit of a wait for us to all get our services, however once we were saddled up in the chairs it moved along effortlessly. I had a peroxide with callus remover. Basically a very large cheese grater, like the on that offers you fresh Parmesan at a nice restaurant, shaved off the layers of thickness from my "summer feet" from running around barefoot. The salon is clean with a huge assortment of colors to choose from. All the polished I tried as a tester were good. What I liked the best was no smell of chemicals. That's the main reason I rarely frequent nail salons. This was definitely worth it. The price was fair it was $32 for the pedi and extra service added on, then I tipped on top of that. I really enjoy a good pedicure when they get in there and clean your toes. I go because I need it. Not naturally pretty over here. Some of us need the help! During this pandemic we are getting our feet done outside. They have supplied a mister and some huge fans to try and keep their clients cool. Also offering full size water bottles that are chilled. Thanks to yelp, this is my new favorite nail salon. The nail polish bottles (Orly, OPI and China Glaze) are nicely organized in a glass cabinet. Each brand occupies its own shelf. Stack of magazines are place next to each chair. There are 6 chairs and they are a little bit nicer than other nail salon's chairs. No TV..just music playing, it's very relaxing. The lady asked me to sit at the chair and soak my feet. There was not enough water to soak my feet and the water was super hot..way too hot. I complained and the other lady fixed it right away. My lady was very gentle and she didn't talk to much. She just asked the basic questions and diligently worked on my nails. She was wearing a mask..I haven't seen a lot of this lately. She put on my flip flop before painting my nails so it wouldn't ruin the polish. After painting my nails she asked me to move to the dryer section. You can customize the timing of the dryer: 1-4 minutes. More magazines were available there and there was cold water too. I like this place. My only complain was the hot water and I noticed one of my right toe nails was not filed perfectly and it's kinda crooked. 4 stars!! read more

I have been coming here since I was 19 now I'm in my late thirties . This place is near to my house and they do a decent job. Most of the ladies are good, except this o e lady I don't know her name I've never asked. She is terrible she can be very rude and nosy focusing all over the place except her business. She needs to be more relaxed since she rushes through, she does the pedi real fast and even forgot to put lotion and quick massage. So terrible I can't believe they let her work here for so long when she's not good like others! My regular nail joint was closed on MOnday. I was so so sad to see a sign on the door that is usually wide open. Boo hooooooo. So I came to Bonsoir, which I have tried once before. They weren't busy so I sat right down for a pedicure. First off the place is tiny. Beware, it's a bit cramped. I'm use to a big spacious room with room between chairs so I don't feel like someone is all up in my business while I play Angry Birds and get my legs massaged! I liked the chair though, a good massage chair is hard to find and I felt like I was getting a real back rub. Nice. Water was warm, toes were attended to in a gentle manner, short leg scrub and rub. I bring my own polish so that I can do touch ups later and so I don't have an opinion on their selection. All in all it was a good pedicure. Looked very nice walking out and still does two days later. I would go back....if my usual place is closed. read more

Nice nail salon! I took my daughter here for a mommy-daughter manicure and pedicure before a wedding. They were very nice and made my daughter feel special. She is sensitive so I was worried she might not like it, but they were gentle with her. I went in for a quick manicure and I actually found the place to be extremely adorable...I love vintage buildings and love vintage Decour...I honestly found the nail salon extremely relaxing...There weren't any kids running around, there weren't any chatty women over talking and the music playing was at a nice volume. DO NOT GO HERE!! RUNNNN AS FAST AS YOU CAN IN THE OTHER DIRECTION! Seriously, the WORST manicure ever!! I have no idea why everyone else is saying how great this place is, maybe they are trying not to hurt anyone's feelings but YELP is not about feelings and being nice, people. Its about giving honest reviews so that business' that are amazing can be patron-ed and business that need to improve, do so. At least that's my take on YELP. It was not very clean, old and run down looking. I walked in today on my lunch and asked for a quick manicure, after waiting for more than 15 mins and almost walking out the door (which I so regret not doing now) I had someone come and take the nail polish off my nails....Now, I don't mind waiting when I 'm told there will be a wait ahead of time. But I was told someone would be "right with you have a seat at this table" Since I wanted gel I was given the color wheels which are soooo limited BTW. If you are looking for nice designs, or even any glitter other than red, green, gold or silver don't bother the selection is like a starter kit, it's quite limited and not worth the extra money for the gel. I finally opted for a blue glitter gel since they didn't have the matching glitter for the pink color I originally wanted. I let the lady know I was on a time crunch and just wanted a quick clean up and polish..... biggest mistake. She ended up cutting and filing my nails to oblivion, they are so short and thin! She kept filing my skin and I kept pulling my hands away, she cut me not once but twice, and dug her dirty nail into the side of my finger to "clean up" the excess polish. Who does that? Aren't you suppose to use a brush and nail polish remover? I'm sure the state board of cosmetology would agree, that YES, you do NOT use your own dirty fingernail! Seriously, the absolute worst. I now have short almost non-existent nails, that hurt incredibly bad because in case you missed it... SHE FILED MY SKIN!!! (Going to let the excruciating pain of that sink in for a second......) To make matters worse this decapitation of finger skin cost me $32.00! You read that right $32.00 for a gel manicure at a table with a bowl of water!!! There was no take off of previous gel on my nails, nor did they fix a broken nail or anything of the sort, no extra treatment, and I only got ONE hand massaged because she took sooooo long that I had to bolt to get back to to work. I felt $32 was way excessive!! Seriously $32 for ONLY a manicure???? I would have not paid it and stayed to question this highway robbery, but I HAD to get back to work, I was already 20 mins late :/ When I got to work I called them back to ask the cost of a gel manicure, I was quoted $35 over the phone.... How did the price go up $3 in the 2 min drive back to work?!! I then went online and noticed that they had posted a $12 manicure and $10 gel charge for a total of $22. I was baffled! So I did what any normal person would do when upset and feeling taken advantage of would do. I had a co-worker call and get a quote for a gel manicure and was quoted $19!!! .....$30 for a mani/pedi combo. Are you fawkking kidding me?!!!! Can you say...ILLEGAL!! Bonsoir Nails, you seriously need to get it together, hire technicians that will not leave your clients with ugly cut up finger nails that may quite frankly need antibiotics, and get your act together on legitimate, fair and equal pricing for all customers. read more

I first started going to Bonsoir because it was new and close to where I live. I try not to drive when I get a manicure because I always mess them up while driving before they are completely done. Now, this is my go-to place because they have wonderful service and their work is worth the price. I sometimes go try other places, but I always come running back to Bonsoir. Many times, I want to get a mani-pedi on the spur of the moment. They are always accomodating to my walking-in last minute, never needing me to wait long, even if they are packed with an entire bridal party. I got some nail art done on all ten fingers and they only charged me an extra $3. The lady took her time to draw the flowers and to apply the rhinestone. At first she kept messing up and keep having to redo it, but I appreciate the time and effort she put into it. I was there for a little bit over an hour for the mani-pedi, but it was well worth it. The final product came out really well and I got a lot of complements that night. What I appreciate the most is that this place looks clean! I'm really afraid of those nail salons that look old and dirty. After reading articles about all the bacteria/fungus that are in dirty nail salons and unsanitized nail tools, I'm a little weary about "dumpy" places. But there is no such worries at Bonsoir. You can enjoy and relax while they pamper your nails! read more

Ok so I was probably a little too harsh in my last review a few years ago... I definitely don't come here to do any type of special manicures or to do my acrylics but this is my go to for a pedicure. My toe polish always lasts for weeks without chipping, the callus remover is definitely worth the 7 bucks, and depending who does your work the massage is really nice... like I said, I don't come here for any intricate work that requires too much detail but for the basics this place is clean, the womyn are nice, and the fresh coat of paint and new massage chairs give it a really nice update. I found this place on yelp, and was not dissappointed! The decor isn't all fancy but they do a great job! They really sterilize the spa chair and the jets which I've never seen otherplaces do that. They really take their time during the massage and even turn the magazine pages for u if you are getting a Mani and pedi at the same time!!! I will be back for sure! read more
