Then they told us they had just realized that because the child's nails are too small, the extensions wouldn't stick. Now they're saying we need to pay an additional $70 to redo the nails with regular polish. The reason they're asking us to pay again is apparently because they need to pay their workers' wages. Within less than 10 days, 6 nail extensions have already fallen off. The customer service refused to fix them and is instead asking us to pay again to cover their own mistake. I had a very disappointing experience at this location. I waited 25 minutes past my appointment time before being seen. During the service, my pinky cuticle was cut and is still healing, and there was no apology from the technician. The technician was also on her phone during my service and ended up cutting her own thumb with the drill, which she started bleeding. I am pregnant, and this was not a relaxing or comfortable experience at all. My nails were poorly done, there is gel underneath that doesn't match my nail bed, leaving pouches under my nails that easily collect dirt. This was my first time trying this location, and unfortunately it will be my last. I will continue going to the Glendale location, where I've never had these issues. read more

Terrible experience I paid $150 for a group session 2 pedicures and two manicures. I made an appointment still had to wait up to 20 minutes and it claimed that we would all take 25 minutes combined, which means different people working on a side different times, but it did not work like that. A friend booked a session here for us to get manicures/pedicures. We were under the impressions we'd be getting them done at the same time but they ended up scheduling us back to back so she had to wait for me to get mine done. But then when I got my gel manicure, she used a drill to "carve" away at my cuticles instead of soaking them and pushing them back. Apparently that's a Russian manicure. I've never gotten one, and it would be fine if but she was so ROUGH. She kept cutting my skin way too far and the corners of my cuticles are all in pain now. 6/10 of them bled because she kept putting acetone on them to stop the bleeding and they seriously BURNED. It's been two hours since my appointment and my skin feels so raw and it aches when I type. One finger is STILL bleeding on and off. At this point I'm hoping I don't get an infection. read more

REVIEW EDIT IN RESPONSE TO OWNER: I've had previous manicures, both regular gel polish and rubber base gel. They've all lasted me 4-6 weeks, this is my first experience I've had with rubber base where it chipped off. That's what my review stated. I don't appreciate your combative and passive aggressive questioning. Saying my review doesn't make sense was childish since all you wanted to do was discredit my review. Just to say "it's possible for manicures to chip after 3 weeks" Of course it's possible, never once said it wasn't. My picture was just to show that my nail itself chipped. You wouldn't be able to see over drilling with the polish still on. You can be argumentative if you'd like, I'm just stating that the manicure was painful for me. The nail tech doing my manicure apologized multiple times due to me pulling back from the drilling. My nails would get pretty hot during the process and when I couldn't handle it longer I instinctively pulled back. Frankly, I don't care if you can or can not see the damage. My review was based on my experience. If you would continue to read my review you would notice that all I mentioned was my surprised at the pedicure not being a dry pedicure. Never said anything past that and don't see the reason for your sarcastic question on scrubbing the soles of my feet. I'm not expert, this is not my field. I'm just a customer that left a review. I have a lot to say. I had high expectations for this place after following their page for a couple years and seeing that they opened salons in the States. Unfortunately I left pretty underwhelmed. I decided to treat myself for my birthday and got a pedicure and manicure. They're known for their Russian-style work and elegant pedicure baths with roses. There were 2 single sad rose petals in the foot bath. Two. Nothing special. However, I was pleased with the pedicure results itself. Russian style manicures and pedicures involve them cutting into the cuticle to clean them up, leaving u with perfectly neat nails. The thing is, this left my cuticles sore (from cutting skin) and the next day they were peeling. That's probably the last time I try this method. After paying so much, 4 days later, one of the nails chipped at the tip, 2 days after that another one! Gel manicure! Lastly, I was excited about the ambience and how cute it seems on Instagram but to be honest it was pretty dry in there. There was only one other girl getting her nails done, once she left it was awkwardly quiet. The chairs were nothing special, just pink and hard. The most uncomfortable chairs you will ever sit in. Imagine that you are looking for a relaxing place to get a pedicure and get crammed in a chair that doesn't recline, doesn't adjust, doesn't feel like it was built for a human to sit on. Address locked in ready to enjoy your YOU time. As you circle PCC, you realize, they sent you the wrong address. You call and get attitude from the moment they pick up the phone. (Should've known then). Rush back to old town. No parking. Circle the block. Park in the yardhouse structure. Run across the street and walk in to the worst customer service I have ever experienced at a salon. Annoyed looks. Attitude. And just an overall BAD VIBE. If you want to know what I'm talking about, read the owners responses to any other bad review. Very unwelcoming, uninviting and unprofessional. Do you know what a Russian pedicure is? I wish I never found out. Apparently it's where they don't soak your feet, don't massage your legs, and don't give a damn if you're comfortable. Good times. Don't waste a date night, spa day, or your time by going here. There are plenty of options in Pasadena. With better techs, better chairs and better ownership. Unless you really want an Instagram pic. REPLY TO OWNER: what's interesting is that when a customer tells you something is wrong with your business processes you try to gaslight them. Probably the most sub-par manicure that I've experienced in LA. The salon itself is very pretty, but don't let that mislead you. The nail techs do not appear to have an ample amount of experience. I literally came back to my office and removed an enormous amount of cuticle that was left behind. Moreover, the actually nail polish application was mediocre at best. My nails look very uneven as far as polish coverage is concerned. A couple of other important things to note are that, 1) there is literally no pampering at this salon, something that we have all come to expect from traditional nail salons; and 2) the spa chairs are also very high and do not have stepping stools or incorporated stairs to assist you in reaching the top of the bench where the chair is located. This will ultimately result in someone having an accident----water, soap, height and unstable footing= nothing good. This is a good place to have as a back-up in the event that you have an urgent need to get your nails done, but that's about it. I think they can definitely do much better. Unfortunately did not have a good experience. I got a hard gel Russian manicure done. They ruined my cuticles (which got infected for a week) and 5 of my nails broke after a week. After trying to contact them to sort out what can be done, they have ignored me for over a month now. I needed to go see a doctor for my cuticles to make sure the infection wouldn't get worse. I don't think I could justify spending almost $100 for a bad quality service like that.
