It is definitely a "cozy" spot--it's essentially standing room only--but the vibe is incredibly friendly and welcoming. It feels like a true neighborhood gem. I ordered the Mexican Mocha, and it was delicious! It had a great balance of spice and sweetness. However, I do wish they offered a traditional Café de Olla (coffee with cinnamon and piloncillo) without the chocolate element. Sometimes you want those warm spices without it being a full-on mocha. Overall, a lovely spot for a quick pick-me-up. I'll definitely be back next I'm driving through to try more of the menu!

Their ice cream ($5 kids, $6 single scoop, $9 double) was some of the best we've had around SLO and the gelato ($6 small) was the authentic Italian deal! We tried the butter pecan and honey churro ice cream and the mista gelato and all three were heavenly. The best part was our server who was so friendly, so helpful, and just had the best attitude. He made the visit even more memorable. The candy all looked fresh and fun - amazing considering the extensive selection of gourmet artisan truffles to vintage candy brands of childhood. This is no tourist trap. Locals and visitors, check it out when you're headed to the Cayucos pier.

The space is nice specially the outdoor area. They sell a few pastries. They roast the coffee in house so it smells and tastes good. I enjoyed the cup of cappuccino I bought. I took them home to share with the hubby and we really enjoyed them! The traditional fruit creams were excellent, as well as the coconut bonbon. The lavender and rose ones were good but just too sweet and rich for me (personal preference). Staff are super sweet (no pun intended lol!!) and helpful. Prices are what you'd expect for the area and they offer shipping and even gift wrapping services. Their location is excellent - very walkable little town with lots to see and do. She treated my family wonderfully and took the time to explain all the treats, which made the experience genuinely enjoyable. This time, however, things were different. When I came back, there was a very short 4 ft man wearing a hairnet and another woman behind the counter. The woman glanced at me and immediately turned away, while the man gave me a hollow, thousand-yard Gen Z stare. To make matters worse, they didn't heat up my scrumptious snuggle treat--it was served cold. If those two hadn't been more focused on flirting with each other, this visit might have been a good experience too.
