I ordered keyed alike locks and realized I need more. They easily pulled up my order, added what I needed and sent me an invoice via email. The additional items were shipped the same day as ordered. If you purchase something that is not correct, they put you through literal Hell to return it. 1) First, you are required to notify them of the return by email, postal or telephone. 2) Then, they SEND YOU A FORM, requiring you to PURCHASE A NEW BOX (draconian) to return the product. Remember, if you do not purchase a new box, they will NOT REFUND all of your money, saying, either that you didn't follow instructions or that the return was damaged. 3) You must send the form back, filled out. 4) AT THEIR LEISURE, they will send you a "Return Goods Authorization Number." Amazon, and MOST GOOD BUSINESSES, send a return form WITH THE PRODUCT. 5) After you FUNALLY get the RGA#, (I emailed TWICE, never got an answer and had to call them) you must send it by UPS or FEDEX (better send with tracking so you know they received it). They will take their GOOD OLD TIME to review the merchandise, then DECLARE THE MERCHANDISE BROKEN BY YOU, AND THEY WON'T REFUND THE FULL PRICE. These people are TYPICAL FLORIDA SHYSTERS. I reached out to Harney Hardware several months ago because I toilet paper holder in my house was falling apart and needed some new hardware. Honestly, I'm not sure if it even came from them since it was installed by a flipper, but I reached out to see if they had any info or an installation manual or something. I was thinking I'd just use the manual to go find the parts I needed. However, Shelly was very helpful and even offered to send me some screws and anchors that would match. They made this so incredibly easy and were very helpful to me in getting this figured out. Agreed!!! This rating should be Zero!!! I attempted to return an item that did not work for me. They refused to cover shipping, which was nearly half the cost of the item itself. I did exactly what they said and paid for the shipping only to find the package back on my doorstep today, with a message stating that they don't have a mail box to accept the item? Really??? Quite the scam just to avoid refunding a customer for a returned item. Thanks. Now I'm out $80. That is truly awful business practice. read more

I had been looking for black house numbers that nail in. Tried Walmart Home Depot Lowe's Amazon everywhere!! Best price I could find was over $9 each!! My God!! Plus shipping!! I needed 4 numbers!! And they weren't pretty numbers either. So I finally googled it. I came across this hardware store I'd never heard of before. And the numbers were so pretty but they were 4" and I thought they would be too big. But they were less than $2 each!! So I thought well I'll try to email them to see if they will work with me. Do yourself a favor and don't buy from here! These doorknobs I purchased do not work on my doors, the striker is wrong, no adapter for the round version. They say I can pay extra for the appropriate striker. So I want to send back the knobs, but they not only want me to pay for shipping back to them, but also shipping they spent to deliver them! Poor business practices! I'm out 74.00 because their description failed to mention multiple types of striker plate options. Buyer beware! read more

Buyer Beware. I purchased a shower bench for my father. He died before it was installed and the bench was still in an unopened box. Harney said I could return the $250+ bench but had to pay the more than $317 UPS shipping rate. Will never buy from them again. I ordered an electronic lock and the door knob. The standard holes in the doors were manufactured predrilled and standard. The electronic lock covered the bottom hole for the knob so we had to return. This company not only did not reimburse our shipping, but we also had to pay $18 for shipping it back! Since this was a design issue, we should have gotten a full refund and they should have taken care of the shipping to return. I will buy through Amazon from now on. read more

I would think twice before ordering from this company. I ordered pocket door latches for my pocket door. Both pocket door latches were defective. Moreover, the quality of the metal was cheap. When I told the customer service rep that one side of the latch was hard wired so the I could not switch the side of the lock, I received a demo you tube as if I did not know how to switch sides. I then tested the other latch, and while I was able to switch sides, the latch did not work correctly. I was then told I should send photos so that they could inspect the pieces. If you are looking for poor quality and poor customer service, then this is the place for you. Otherwise I would stay clear. There are way to many other options. read more
