Mediocre.. nothing special. I did like the fact it wasn't too sweet. The young lady who assisted was very nice and attentive. My friend loved the Oreos. Everything else---ALL OVER SEASONED!! Even the fried pickles, they literally tasted like they were dipped in salt laced with flour and fried in old fish grease. The chicken and seafood looked wonderful, but it all tasted salty. My friend tasted on bite of everything and each time she said it was too much seasoning. Her tastebuds are a little sensitive, so I thought, it wldve been seasoned just right for me. TUH!!!! I almost cried when I bit into my chicken. I LOVE chicken, but I I'm going to have to give it up for a few weeks so I can get that taste out of my system. We spent $75 for salt meat and seafood. Your management needs urgent education on diversity, inclusion, and how to treat all customers with respect. When will your managers stop asking autistic parents why their child is autistic? The level of ignorance is shocking, and your staff clearly needs serious training on accommodating diverse needs. The fries are mid but still tasty and the mild sauce does what needs to be done. I'm a southern girl and love spicy so I wish they had a spicier sauce but that's beside the point...staff is friendly and the bar is always stocked and overall clean environment. They also threw in their signature mild sauce which also had the same taste I remembered. Wings - The wings were really good. Same batter, same seasoning and what tasted like the same ingredients. The French fries that came with it also were very familiar. Tasty, crispy and fresh. Seafood - Shrimp and catfish were unfortunately more on the gamy side. That is a hard pass for me so I didn't finish. It was still cooked perfectly and for folks who don't mind a gamy taste, you should like it. All in all, if you want a familiar taste from Chicago, I'd recommend this establishment. However, seafood needs some tuning. I will order chicken wings again. read more

I opted out of coleslaw for more fries instead and ordered a side of fried okra , fries hard .I waited about 10 mins which is to be expected for fresh food. I was informed by the bartender that they should be getting a frozen margarita machine soon , so decided I'll get a drink when they do.
