I just looked again and you still have those same items that you told me you did not have in stock when I went to pick up the two that I purchased. Once I got there I was told SORRY but we no longer have them in stock so we put your money back on your card. It takes 24 to 48 hours for the money to return to your card. OK well IT didn't take you 24 to 48 hours to take the money off my card. Just online purchasing it's a BIG racket and it's made to cause people undo harm and financial burden. NOW I DIDN'T USE MY GAS TO COME UP TO KROGER'S TO PICK UP AN ITEM. THEY KNEW THEY DIDN'T HAVE IN STOCK TOOK MY MONEY OFF MY CREDIT CARD WHEN THEY KNEW THEY DIDN'T HAVE THE ITEM IN STOCK AND DID NOT EVEN COMPENSATE ME FOR MY TIME AND GAS IT'S OVER FOUR DOLLARS A GALLON TO COME UP THERE TO GET A ITEM THEY DID NOT HAVE IN STOCK. I AM LIVID.

It stocks an amazing variety of products from many eastern Mediterranean cultures. A neighbor told us about a grocery store with bins of bulk beans and spices. The dried beans are fresh and cook easily compared to using bagged beans of uncertain age. Greek style gigantes beans are the best we've found. The only product we have not liked is the bulk lokum which was dried up and hard to eat compared to boxed alternatives.

It is a…read moregood medium-sized neighborhood supermarket for St. Clair Shores and Grosse Pointe residents. I get fresh fruits, vegetables, nuts, meats, seafood, and frozen food here. Among the meat and seafood, I have bought the BBQ pork belly and lemon pepper salmon, which are easy to cook at home. My favorite frozen food item at this Kroger is Roots Organic Potato Tots made with avocado oil. It's unlike any frozen potato I've tried before. I am not a fan of the ready-made salad. There are other grocery stores with better salad options. I usually go to the self-checkout aisle, so I do not interact much with the workers, but I've never run into any issues so far. The customers who shop here are cordial and friendly as well.

Harassment at self checkout…read more I have shopped at this store for nearly 20 years as it's very close to home. I used the self checkout today closest to the register. As soon as I entered my Kroger #, the cashier walked over & stood directly next to me. She watched each item I scanned & placed in a bag and kept staring directly at my face. I looked directly at her and said, "Hi". She responded quietly but continued to stare at me in an opposing way. It was unnecessarily uncomfortable & awkward enough that I will only use an actual checkout lane moving forward. I understand the need for theft prevention and there are cameras Everywhere in this store. Allowing an employee to try intimidation by staring at a customer for the 7 minutes it took to check out is weird and unacceptable. Train your staff to also be kind and respectful please.

Right when you walk in, they have a checkout counter and a freezer with Guernsey icecream (the one they have at Sander's AND the best icecream I have ever had). On the side they have a room FILLED with meat! We always get the beef and it is the BEST quality beef there is and affordable. The price is comparable to the store. You can buy a pound for around $6-7. It is super fresh too. We actually got chicken breast a few times. We want to try their ribs as well. They also sell milk, eggs, cheese, and more. They also allow you to call ahead for big orders. If you own a freezer chest I highly suggest buying $50 worth of food because they have a $5 off $50 coupon on the website. We buy the beef and then freeze it and it lasts 6-7 weeks. It's basically an amazing way to get a package for free. The customer service is amazing. The parking gets full fast, but a lot of people walk in quickly and leave pretty fast. We have never had any issues with quality or taste. We can taste the difference in the beef. We have tried sam's, costco, meijer, walmart, and kroger. This is by far the best quality

It's so small, I actually drove past it at first. As soon as I turned around, I realized it was right in front of me. It is a pretty small and simple farm market. Although they didn't have any short ribs that day, I was told I could order them. Since I was there, I stocked up on other meats. Wish I stayed closer. But will be returning whenever possible.

They have a better taste (to me) than Medjool dates. I can eat they plain or add them to a smoothie. They're also delicious when chopped and added to salads. The prices are fair and they have an abundance of whatever is in stock. Recently, I've noticed that they put ice on some of their produce. I suppose that helps keep it fresh longer. One improvement I'd like to see is fewer gnats and removing produce that's obviously over ripe. Checking out is relatively quick. I like going early, before the crowd.

So sharpen your eye and pick out the good stuff (or eat it quick). PROS: The veggies are pretty good here. Love the selection of fresh lettuces, peppers, potatoes, and cukes. Lots of unique Asian and African vegetables too. Love the roasted peanuts in a paper bag. Delicious bread straight from a bakery in Windsor, Canada (check the dates! It goes stale fast). Flowers, plants and other nursery items are sold at great prices outside the front entrance. CONS: I've had terrible luck with the fruit here. Pithy nectarines, hard plums, dry oranges, and forever-green bananas. They specialize in large melons. Roll the dice and pray you get a good one. Watch out for the nasty onions, rancid radishes, and squishy eggplants. Ambience is pure East side, open stalls overflowing with product, kinda tight, ramshackle and clunky but full of character. Very diverse crowd and staff. Service has always been efficient. They give senior discounts on certain days of the week.
