This is where the good part stops. The atmosphere of the restaurant was fine. But it was HOT. It is unusually hot in Paris this week but it was stifling inside the restaurant. But we could have dealt with that (the food was that good). The really disappointing part, however, was the service. We waited 20 minutes for anyone to ask if we wanted drinks (the restaurant was not crowded) and another 25 for someone to ask if we wanted to order. For context, a couple who arrived 10-15 minutes after us got a bottle of wine and their first course before the server--the same server for both tables--ever came to take our order.
