Food menu was full of dense dishes when I was looking for something more protein packed. So yummy. Worth it!

This was one of the best meals we had during our trip to France, it was recommended to us by a local. Food and drinks were all fresh and delicious. The service was great, very friendly and helpful. We sat outside at a little table and enjoyed watching all the passerby's. I would highly recommend visiting this spot!

Cute brunch spot on a very aesthetic Parisian street. The food was so tasty, large portions too. Brunch service doesn't start until 11 on the weekend, but you can sit and have a coffee/ drink. Our sever was so attentive even though he was managing almost all the tables outside. Super quick once brunch service started. Wiloild come back!!

After an overnight flight, a train ride into the city, a trek from the metro station to the hotel, and a long walk around the neighborhood, we realized that lunch would be a good idea. Maison Sauvage not only had an intriguing menu and interesting decor, it was also completely full. This is always a good sign. The menu is found online (scan the QR code on the table), so be sure that you've got internet access (or snap a shot of the menu that is posted out front). Mom got the avocado toast, and I got the vegan burger. We both got frappes as well. We were both thrilled with our meals--they were pleasing to the eye and palate, and the ingredients were perfection (that avocado was beautiful). We loved the balance of flavors and textures. While the menu was in French, the servers all spoke both French and English. This was a great place for a leisurely, tasty, and healthful lunch.

Adorable cafe! Came for breakfast and it was good! Cappuccino and chai latte were both served barely warm and seemed a bit watered down to me. But overall a good experience.

-Great ambience on a cute little street -Great food (we got the breakfast sandwiches on New Year's Day so it was an excellent pick me up meal) - they have bacon!!!!! Just what I was looking for and surprising you cannot find that at a lot of breakfast places in Paris. -Good coffee (I got the cappuccino) -great, friendly service

One of the best food I had in Paris! I highly recommend getting reservations here because it gets very busy! This place is iconic for its beautiful flowers, it actually is stunning to see in person. But let's talk about the food! I had Le bun du matin, oeuf, cheddar, avocat, tomate, bacon (Morning bun, egg, cheddar, avocado, tomato, bacon) and Brioche perdue à la pâte à tartiner bio (French toast with organic hazelnut cocoa spread). The sandwich was great and just a great option for breakfast because it has everything. The French toast with the chocolate spread was amazing. The spread was better than Nutella, it literally melts in your mouth! Since I had this meal, I've been craving it! I also had the chai latte, also delicious. Like I said, it gets crowded. We sat outside because that was the only table available but luckily it was under an umbrella because it was raining. Service was great and attentive. I highly recommend this fabulous place!

A brunch celebrating my sisters 30th birthday started at Maison Sauvage....the house iced tea was freaking phenomenal. The food was nice and colorful, tasty too. Service was fantastic

Fried cauliflower with spicy mayo plus guacamole and chips

While looking for vegetarian options this restaurant looked appealing; it was close, had lots of ambiance and had good ratings. Our starters - guacamole and chips plus the fried cauliflower and spicy mayo - were very good, although the spicy mayo wasn't particularly flavourful and could have used much more spice. Our main was pasta arrabiata and looked inviting. However we required a new set of cutlery and the waiter seemed to forget our request! After a reminder the cutlery showed up but by then our dinner was no longer hot. It was disappointing because it was quite tasty but the cheese was cold and burrata is best when it's oozing over the pasta. So, while the appies had us excited, the main was a let down!

    Such a beautiful restaurant!

My daughter and I stopped in for brunch. I had wanted to eat here in March but never made it. So glad we remembered and stopped in this time. Service was great and the food was delicious. We will definitely be back next time we are in town.

Food - 3 Service - 4 Ambiance - 5 It is recommended by Les Frenchies June 2023 guide. I think it is super hyped. The Vege options are strange to American. Burger and Fries is 3 at best. Great location for people watching... What I really don't like, they asked for 15%, 18% 20% tips at the end... which respectable restaurant does this in Paris? table is mad small.. for drinks and finger foods are ok... but not good for really eating there... They speak English well and they take apply pay

A wonderful stop in Paris! We stopped in on a rainy morning and were pleasantly surprised with extra whipped creamy coffees. The omelettes were excellent as well. The service was also exceptional and the staff was very kind to us (Americans). I would recommend!

Sunday morning brunch; the waiters were fantastic despite how busy they all were (and by busy, I mean crazy-Sunday-Morning-busy). Everyone worked together... my order was a bit wrong, but they all worked to remedy it. My only suggestion, be mindful of the "homeless trio" in the front, and if they are present, asked to be seated on the other side of the building. They fought each other, the police came, they harassed a table of women, they stole chairs and silverware, and I watched one walk up to a woman in the queue, and pretend to punch her in the face, he was an inch away from her face. It's a shame this menace is out front, because Maison Sauvage is so charming with a great meal service.

    Fresh croissant and delicious cappuccino.

The richness of the flavor and the texture which is not reminiscent of the traditional roasted duck or foie gras, but rather a much more like a luxurious and indulgent version. We enjoyed our dinner on the outside of the restaurant after about a 20-30 minute wait. The bone marrow had the best flavor I've experienced for the dish. However, it is definitely overshadowed by the rich flavor of the foie gras. This experience was unforgettable, with our view of Parisian streets on a brisk, April night. We even came back on our last night, but didn't realize the hours on Google maps was for the deli. The restaurant closes earlier, before 9:00 PM. This meal got us thinking about Paris in a positive light, and we hope to be able to come back to eat the amazing dishes again!

They had a number of goods to choose from and I ended up buying a few things for souvenirs. As for the actual restaurant, they had a number of delicious sounding items on their menu. Our server was very attentive to us and helped us decide on our dinner orders. Similar to the other restaurants though. After our food was delivered, it was far in between when we were checked on again. And after dessert it took even longer for our server to bring the bill. Overall, the food was a letdown. I do not exaggerate when I say that the frog legs just tasted like slightly flavored water. My friend's ravioli had a fairly decent flavored sauce but the pasta was a bit chewy. My friend's duck breast was pretty tough; I had noticed the table next to us also ordered it and they seemed to have trouble finishing/cutting theirs as well. As for my steak with foie gras, well the steak was once again tough and the foie gras was weirdly stringy. It was soft for the most part but there were parts that were tough and stringy. Maybe that's a section that's generally separated in the preparation process and it was missed? In any case it was disappointing. What wasn't disappointing was dessert though; perfectly sweet and balanced.

On the other hand, it made me realize that my mother was a terrible cook. Bistro des Augustins is a small, cozy venue offering both indoor seating and terrace seating near Pont Neuf. It serves a small number of curated dishes, including a wonderfully traditional Bistro Gratin in a homey ceramic dish served piping hot with a brown crispy cheesy top, herbs, spices and chicken. You can also get it with salmon. My brothers and I only saw my mother use our gas range to light her cigarettes, sanitize needles to remove our splinters, and make s'mores during the summer months when she couldn't muster the energy to take us 'outside camping.' I mean, all she had to do was borrow a cookbook, which I'm sure were readily available from maybe a neighbor or in any local bookstore or the public library. How hard is that? I was the only kid who brought a can of tuna and his own monogrammed can opener to school every day. Every day. And mom convinced me that the tuna holster she got me for my birthday was cool and hip. I was a naive mercury-filled fool, although I did become a very fast runner in junior high school because of the tuna holster. The interior décor of Bistro des Augustins is informal and vintage bistro style - wooden tables, traditional chalkboard menus, and soft lighting - creating a relaxed and comfy ambiance. My eyes have been opened to what's possible. Thank you Bistro des Augustins for expanding my culinary horizons. Five stars.

We split a very fairly priced bottle of wine and ended the night with the scoop of mousse. If they could figure out how to do that intravenously, that'd be great. The mousse reminded me of a great guilty pleasure, which is eating straight out of the can of Duncan Hines chocolate frosting (ask me how I know, I do this often, going to rebrand it to me being European). No real plans. Just walking. Cigarette smoke in the air, scooters passing narrow streets, old stone buildings glowing under soft afternoon light. Online, this place feels impossible to book. But show up 10-15 minutes before opening and suddenly you're seated like you knew the secret all along. Inside, the room hums. Tight tables. Warm walls. Loud enough to feel alive without becoming chaotic. Nobody rushing. Nobody flipping tables. Just the rhythm of Paris doing what it's always done. The menu is entirely in French which, honestly, makes the experience better. You stop ordering with certainty and start ordering with curiosity. My wife had the risotto d'épeautre aux St. Jacques. I ordered the Magret de Canard au Romarin. The duck was solid. A 3.5/5 kind of dish. Rich, savory, comforting after a long day walking through the city. But the risotto surprised me more. The scallops were delicate, the spelt added this earthy texture that made the dish feel substantial without ever becoming heavy. And then there's the mousse au chocolat. The famous one. Served from an oversized bowl with this almost excessive "all you can eat" energy that somehow still feels elegant instead of gimmicky. We only needed a few bites. Soft, luxurious, lightly bitter chocolate balanced perfectly against just enough sweetness. The kind of dessert that doesn't ask for attention. It quietly earns it.

When I arrived, there was a rustic table in the entry room where I was seated. I ordered an entrée of mini mushroom raviolis in truffle sauce, a plat of scallops over orzo which had chorizo chunks and a dessert of frozen Grand Marnier soufflé. The portions were generous. I enjoyed the mini mushroom raviolis and delicious Grand Marnier soufflé. The plat was somewhat odd because the chorizo chunks were really strong flavored which overpowered the scallops. I ate one chorizo chunk and pushed the rest aside. The scallops were cooked perfectly but not seasoned. The service was gruff/quite brief with dishes dropped by assistants. My biggest complaint was the stressful ambiance during the meal. It was freezing outside. The door constantly opened and new patrons came in hovering over diners in my room. Luckily I was not closer to the door and didn't have anyone over me. For ~170 Euros, the food was good but the experience was not.
