The crewed showed up promptly on time daily and were very pleasant to work with. Through no fault of the landscape company there was a bad batch of sod from the supplier. I reached out to Dan the owner a few days later to let him know some of the sod was damaged. He showed up at my house within the hour to inspect what had happened. By the afternoon same day all damaged sod was removed and replaced. My lawn is beautiful now. I am very impressed with the quick response and resolution to an unexpected problem. Did the usual checked yelp and put together a list of 10 companies and asked facebook as well. Century Landscapes name came up so we added them to the list. Called 7/10 to come out and do bids, most were too busy but 3 managed to show up to walk our backyard and chat with some options. First company listened to what we wanted but had zero input more of an order taker versus a design, we opted to tell them to give us a bid and they never followed up despite emails and calls. 2nd company seemed nice but flat out told us work couldn't start till October (we were getting bids before memorial day), so they were out. Century was the 3rd company to come out and we had William listen to what we wanted for about 20 minutes and then add design ideas we didn't even think about. Told him our budget and timeline and he let us know what we could do with both. Final budget was on point not a dollar over the quote. The job itself was about our kids safety we had an old splintered deck, a pond that leaked, a grass border holding back some shale rock (very sharp not kid friendly stuff), and sorry looking grass. The team at century was able to do all the demo in one weekend, and start the prep work for 1500 sq/ft of pavers to replace everything aforementioned, and as an add on William and the design team constructed a great flag stone patio where the sorry looking grass was. Work went fast and when I had a concern all employees on site took the time to talk with me and fix the issue without any of the usual grumbling or difficulty some contract work entails. To summarize spend the time to talk with this company, and you wont be disappointed. Pricing they were right in line with the competition. Quality of work was outstanding. Communication was great (text/email/call they always responded). Thanks for getting our backyard a place we can enjoy with the kids again! P.S. The crew removed the old walkway and pavers, and spent the rest of the workday prepping the ground for the new walkway from the rear porch to the garage, extending to the front gate, and curving with two steps to the driveway. Also prepped were two areas to either side of the walkway that had been mostly dirt but can now be used as seating/BBQ areas. At the end of the day the crew cleaned up the area, leaving it in perfect condition for the concrete to be poured. Due to a forecasted storm, Quality Curb's owner, Tony, decided against pouring the concrete the next day. His crew returned several days later to finish the job, again arriving on time and ready to work. The concrete was poured, leveled, and smoothed out. It looked fantastic when they were finished. Again, the work area was cleaned up and the only reason you could tell anyone had been there was the yellow caution tape and of course, the fresh concrete. Within a few hours, someone in my household who will remain nameless forgot about the fresh concrete and took a few steps on it, leaving marks. An immediate frantic call to one of the workers and he was at our house within 20 minutes to make everything perfect again at no extra charge (although we did give him a tip in appreciation). We would hire Quality Curb again for any concrete job and highly recommend them to anyone else looking for quality, professional concrete work.

My initial meeting with them took about an hour, where we discussed all phases of my desired landscape. I asked about cost and was told that the design fee is $1000, and the landscape should cost about $60,000. I told them that my budget was $75,000, with $10,000 of that being to have a large tree removed, leaving $65,000. The designer came out and charged me $1500??? After a couple months and 2 revisions to the plan, I was presented with a design that I liked. 3 weeks later I got the estimate. There were three significant items on the plan that were not on the estimate, meaning that the estimate would go up substantially. The estimate was for $179,000!!! All that FireSky did for me was to steal $1500 from me for a design that can not be used. I am considering legal action to get my money back.

The waterfall looks nice overall, but a couple of things are disappointing. The black hoses from the pumps are connected with bright white fittings, which really stand out in the pond and don't blend in. Secondly we actually saw them drop a boulder on our concrete patio walkway, leaving a crack from edge to edge. When we brought it up to the salesman's attention, he said the crack was already there - even though both he and the foreman had checked the area before work started and it was fine. He said he'd get back to us, but it's been over a week with no follow-up. They did however, cash our final payment right away. Just wanted to share our experience so that other neighbors know what they could expect. For the price we paid, we were hoping for better attention to details and accountability. SK

The lead foreman and worker on the job is named 'Chenca' and he did have a helper on site. 'Chenca' pretty much did all the work while his associate spent all his time on the mobile phone talking to his girl friend LOL. Chenca was to say the least, meticulous. Flawless. Brazilian Stone is so blessed to have such a talented skilled artisan. What I really liked about Brazilian Stone and Chenca was how flexible they were with me. They came to the job site to accomplish a few tasks and as you know, when you are 'deep in it' you find more things to do and fix. Well, Brazilian Stone and Chenca were up to the task and took care of everything and made my built-in 1936 home landscape masonry look like brand new again. The photos I post here do no justice. Pretty much envision that everyting was falling down or about too. Brazilian Stone brought everything back to life and even better did a few extras. There are no negatives to report. Perfect 10. Definitely hiring these folks again, without question.

I digress....these guys showed up, knocked out a ton of concrete work and it has turned out amazingly. I had a walkway, back patio, and rv pad poured, and, the patio came with a wood stamp option with a little color tossed in. Im so blown away with their work ethic and quality. If you need concrete and you pass on Anchor Concrete, you clearly dont care about quality or knowledge in the industry. They were reasonably priced and excellent at communicating the process and timeline of the job. Hands down the best concrete pros in the area. Total side note, this is my 200th review!!! Bam!!
