Came here on my flight back home to SF. Fantastic service along with a great food and beverage selection. Ordered the Cali chopped salad and the ribeye-- both of which were even better than we hoped for. It was a relatively quiet restaurant with outlets by the booths if you needed to get work done. I love Harry and Izzy's!! I have eaten at the downtown one many times but this was the first time at the airport. The greeter was nice and the waiter was very friendly. He was busy but still stopped by many times and made us feel important when he did. The food came out quickly and was prepared just like we wanted. We got the Root Beer Chicken Sandwich and a couple Filet Sliders and of course the Home made Chips. The food was great and the accompanying sauces put them over the top. If we were doing anything other than lunch before a flight, we definitely would have done the St Elmo's Shrimp Cocktail and Cheesecake for dessert but that will have to wait until next time. The airport is looking great and the atmosphere is what would be expected in an airport restaurant but still really comfortable and nice. Highly recommend any Harry and Izzy's. read more

I stopped into Harry and Izzy's for an early dinner before my flight to Atlanta, and was very impressed with the service and food. My server was very professional and showed excellent customer service towards me and made sure I had everything I needed for dinner. I ordered the Theodore Stoops IPA and luckily, the bartender had tapped a new keg, so it came out perfectly and tasted very good. I ordered the BBQ Chicken thin crust pizza for dinner. It was fresh and terrific! The whole dining experience was wonderful and relaxing. I can definitely see why Harry & Izzy's is so popular at the airport. The food is wonderful and the service is excellent! If I am flying Delta next time, I will be sure to stop by here for a meal or drink. Came here after finding out there's no AA lounge in this airport. I actually went to their location in downtown and had great service so i immediately came here. I truly cannot get over the magic that is Harry & Izzy's filet sliders. For $6/slider you can get a massive chunk of quality, well-cooked filet on an adorable crispy bun, partnered with a mouthwatering creamy- horseradish dipping sauce. Seriously, it's so good. This restaurant also happens to be the home of one of my favorite salads: Romaine Hearts. With sugared walnuts, apple slices and an incredibly light dressing, it's perfect. Our server at this airport location was also incredibly sweet, kept our drinks topped, and brought our check over instantly (an important quality when you're trying to catch a flight). While the photos may give another illustration. I know that the restaurant industry is struggling to stay at full capacity currently with everywhere hiring so I give a lot of leeway for slower service and understand completely. My complaint was the taste. I love steak and I think Harry and Izzy's is right up there with the best. This go around my steak was tough and flavorless. Ketchup wasn't able to save this beef. At the airport you can order sliders individually which is also a great way to go. I always get medium rare filet sliders and I'm always happy about it. The small buns are perfectly buttered and toasted. The filet is seasoned perfectly and the horseradish sauce is the icing on the cake. The salads are all great and the shrimp cocktail you should know about by now. Been to the one at 82nd st before but it's been ages ago but I will never forget getting a steak I had that was bigger than the plate. They don't have it here since this place is the "on the go" version so their serving time is fast and slight difference in menu. But that doesn't mean they're cutting down in quality as the food is just as good. Calamari was well cooked, cripsy but not rubbery. The ribeye steak was juicy and thin sliced (my stomach is growling while typing this). I didn't need any steak sauce as it was already good. Wife had the avocado toast and fruits which was a good combo (you won't see this on the regular menu online). Service was attentive, even the manager was attentive. Good crew here. When it comes to airport food, I never have high expectations because the price to flavor ratio just doesn't compute rationally for me. However, I feel like Harry & Izzy's was a good bite to steady me over until I reached my destination. My mom and I stopped here while in the Indianapolis airport looking for pizza specifically because that was what she was craving. The staff told us to just grab a seat anywhere. The restaurant was mostly empty so we had our pick of spots. We were then promptly greeted by our waitress and waters were brought before I could finish reading the menu. We wanted just a plain cheese or veggie pizza, but they didn't have one on the menu. We asked the waitress about it and she said "Don't worry honey we'll get you a veggie pizza!" Elated, we ordered that and french fries. Both were brought out surprisingly quickly. The pizza was about a 9 inch round so nothing too hefty, but it was sliced into 8 slices and was the perfect amount for my mom and I. They topped it with tons of veggies and both of us were very excited about that. The only thing which was a bit of a downer was the cheese did not separate when you went to pull a slice. So between the two one would get the whole glob. Once we figured out a two knife cheese-cutting combo, the dining experience was much better. What I remember was a healthy and juicy amount of meat with a cherry tomatoes and olive skewer through the bun. The bun was great, but the burger was "Where's the beef!" and over cooked. I asked for MR and got MW. The tomato was cut paper thin! The only good thing about the meal was the fries, bun, and pickle, oh and of course the beer! No one rushes you, but they provide excellent service, unlike most airport bar/restaurants. On this visit I did a 20oz tap IPA (ice cold) and their famous shrimp cocktail. It might seem pricey... 4 jumbo shrimp in house-made cocktail sauce for $16... but it was the perfect treat when I wasn't looking for a full meal. It is served in the sauce, on ice, and it will knock your socks off. Horseradish at its best! I heard that they are expanding the establishment within the year, even better! read more

I feel a bit rosy sitting at the gate... Let me just say, the cocktail shrimp and filet slider are MUST HAVES. There are 4 plump jumbo shrimps buried in this spicy, horseradish cocktail sauce. It cleared my sinuses and I got a bit teary but OH SO GOOD! The filet slider is truly a little piece of filet between two little buns. I'm not sure what sauce it came with because I added the cocktail sauce to the burger. It's THAT GOOD. Just be warned the filet slider is kind of tiny, so you may want to order more than just 1. I ordered a side of fries since I'm still hungry. Fries are soggy and limp so not my fav but flavored well with salt and pepper. Will def stop by again when I am in Indy. read more
