I was craving fried chicken. Fried chicken is one of those foods that I always crave because its really messy to make at home, and I dont want my house to smell like fried food, so I end up just going out to get it. This location is next to costco. Theres alot of parking but the parking lot is very busy because its in a costco lot. We ordered an entire fried chicken half regular half spicy, the chicken is a small fried chicken. You can easily finish one chicken between two people and I am not a big eater. If I was super hungry I could prob have finished 2/3 by myself. I would say one chicken is 1/3 the size of a costco chicken. The chicken meal also came with 2 sides ( we got coleslaw, and mac and cheese) and french fries. The french fries came with a very large portion. The coleslaw was good but the mac n cheese just was not very cheesey. It was very saucey but the sauce didnt have the most cheese flavor. A nicely fried half hen with seasoned fries was my DoorDash order. It was delivered pretty fast because the chicken was still juicy and warm, the fries were still crispy not soggy at all. I tried the spicy house sauce but it wasn't that spicy to me until I let it sit on my tongue for a bit. I'm thinking the spice might be a cayenne powder mixed in with it. The half hen is the size of a kfc chicken breast so I finished it without really eating the fries. Everything was cooked well but a little on the bland side. Went today for lunch and I'll definitely be going back. I love that they have three different options for your chicken seasoning. Regular, half-and-half and spicy. I also love the fact that the chicken and the fries are made fresh to order. We got two of the whole chicken specials. Both with fries, mac & cheese and rice. I live about 10 minutes away from the restaurant. We got a order to go. When we got home, unpacked, plated our food and settled down to eat, chicken was still super crunchy, and piping hot. I went for a drumstick first, grabbed the bone and it came out clean. I really love that it's a normal size chicken. Something is strange when you order chicken at restaurants and the chicken breasts are huge or the chicken is the size of a turkey. By the chickens being the size they are I feel like they're serving us real chickens without all the steroids and hormones. I love that. The soda machine area was clean, so was the restroom. The restaurant inside was clean. As soon as we walked in the young lady at the register was smiling and very polite. Did not take pictures of the inside because there were a lot of people inside and it was hard for me to get a photo without everyone being in the pictures. It takes a real skill to fry an entire chicken, and every part of the chicken is still moist. They have great pickles also went very well with the fried chicken. Arrived just before 5pm we were greeted. There were a few people waiting on their food. The restaurant is clean. There was so many cute chicken photos dressed in different outfits it was entertaining to look at. Both our chicken was crunchy and the skin had a nice flavor but it was alittle dark, might have been alittle over cooked or they might just need to change the oil. The spicy chicken wasn't spicy at all in my option it had a little spice but I was expecting more. The chicken was juicy and it had a nice flavor. The combo is very filling and largely portioned and a pretty inexpensive. They gave a creamy garlic sauce couldn't taste the garlic, tasted more mayonnaise based if anything. They also sell dessert we were so stuffed we didn't get to try, perhaps our next visit. Had to used the restroom to wash our hands and it was only a single room and apparently someone locked it and they didn't have the key to open it.
