My husband worked with Saro to create my engagement year 6 years ago and we haven't gone to another jeweler since. I recently came by to have a custom third band created for my 5 year anniversary. I showed Saro a photo of the band I was thinking and to add a bit of customization, requested that one of the diamonds be replaced with a ruby - to represent my daughter's birth month. I didn't want the focal point to be the ruby and asked it to be placed off to the side. He said he'd take care of it. :) I couldn't be more happy with the result. Saro knew exactly what I was looking for and created such a beautiful ring (not surprised by this at all!). The first time I went to Harry's, I honestly knew nothing about diamonds. They made it sound so easy that I came out feeling like an expert. My fiancé has tiny fingers so the ring had to be custom made. I appreciated their honesty and felt really good about their recommendations. For instance, I was advised against having diamonds all around the band. It scrapes surfaces, is hard to maintain, makes the band harder to resize, and is not even visible so why pay more? The ring came out beautifully and is a testament to their skilled craftsmanship. Once it came time to pay, the GIA certified diamond, and custom band all came in within my budget. Insuring the ring was as easy as handing in the paperwork they provided. This was the single biggest purchase I'd ever made and it never felt better. We still visit Harry's to get the ring cleaned.
