Came here for a pool league game. Parking sucks! It's very minimal and they have a whole half section blocked off. They serve typical bar food but it's quite pricey. I will say the chicken wings were decent sized tho. Not too thrilled about the hair in ranch so we opted to replace it with blue cheese and it was chunky! Which for someone like me is a good thing. Not sure if it's the norm or just the day of the week but all pool tables were open and free. They have 4 tables and they were decent with good bumpers. Pool sticks coulda used a little help. Service was decent and drink prices were on par with other dive bars. Juke box music was all over the place, it went from Mexican corridos to country to rock which I'm all for. Overall, if it wasn't for the expensive bar food, hair in my ranch and parking situation; I could have easily rounded my rating up to 4 stars but I had to round my 3.5 down. read more

They were good domt get me wrong but they are not the best in town and for the price not the best in the state. I came here for the bbq on Sunday after seeing a review on Tik Tok. I will start off by saying the food was good. They have 4 meat options and a meal is $10. That comes with 1 meat, 2 sides and 2 pieces of bread. The first plate I got was ribs, the second plate I got was tri tip. I asked for Mac and cheese for both of my sides. When I got home, I noticed that I only had 1 side of Mac and cheese in each plate. So instead of giving me double Mac and cheese in each plate He just gave me 1 side of Mac and cheese in each plate. At this point I was already home, so I wasn't going to go back. The portion of tri tip I got was fair for a $10 plate and I would definitely recommend. The portion of ribs I got in the second plate was only 3 ribs, and they were very small. Maybe 3 inches long. Definitely not worth it, especially since I got shorted the second side. Unless you're a local, they definitly treat you like you're not. It's nice they have pool, karaoke and food but the karaoke selection is extremely limited and they would let people go multiple times in a row and have 4 turns before you can get a second turn in. Said they could only do songs from the books and then people did songs that were not in the books: Wanted to try the food but I do not intend to come back, frustrating experience to say the least. read more

We are not from here and we're looking for a city to get away and wind down. We ended up here, and were not even greeted. This random person came up to us and asked for our IDs while playing darts, we asked if they worked at the bar and they refused to asker if he did/didn't. I got hip to Harry's Lounge from a friend that recommended this place especially for the karaoke. That's one of my favorite thing to do. The bartenders are always friendly and the gentleman who runs the karaoke is awesome and friendly and often stops by our table to chat. Harry's Lounge is located on Auburn Blvd in a slightly sketchy location, but hey there are many dive bars the are in sketch areas. They do have security who is also really cool and can sing his quite well. The crowd is very diverse which I like and everyone seems to get along well. They have a variety of music genres. I'm more of the old school type of singing girl. Although, I have to say singing Red Light Special by TLC with friends was epic! ;) I used to go karaoke by a bar near my house, but that person waste more time than a little that I'm willing to drive a bit further out for a great time. The drink prices aren't bad and I believe there is a yelp check in for $2 domestic beer. If you haven't checked out Harry's Lounge, I highly recommend you do I can guarantee you will have a good time this place doesn't disappoint. read more

I found Harry's while searching for a karaoke bar. I was looking for a central location for everyone and I texted my friends to meet me there. On our first visit, we came on a Friday night. I was the first to arrive and as I walked in to search for a table for our group, I heard motorboat sound effects?! I didn't find a table at the time and I was a bit skiddish since I heard the sound. So, I walked out, then I heard the guy at the bar making the same motorboat sound. I immediately texted everyone and said let's find another spot? The other karaoke bars around weren't too good, as far as reviews. I met my friends in the parking lot and decided that we'd try again. I warned them first about the guy at the bar. It didn't happen, maybe the guy left? Anyway, I'm glad we stayed and didn't go elsewhere because Harry's is hopping! The first time I sang here, I had a group clapping and they even told me during closing that I did a great job singing and they liked my choice of songs, lol! Karaoke here is very laid back, no pressure. I've been to some in the area and all you have is pros singing and it makes it hard for amateurs that are looking for fun to sing. It's all good fun when it comes to karaoke here...don't get me wrong, there are some really good singers here along with peeps like me! Also, the good singers will help you out on some challenging notes, lol. The bartenders here are cool and friendly and the prices are great! Harry's Lounge is a pretty typical neighborhood bar in many ways, but I'd say a notch above others in some ways as well. It's a decent size for one, nice layout... kitchen window is separate from the bar. The bar itself could be a little bigger I guess, but I'm only saying that because all of the stools are often filled! Plenty of seating elsewhere, though. They have four pool tables that are maintained better than most and some dart boards as well. Drinks are reasonably priced and I've been happy with all the bartenders that I've had the pleasure of dealing with. Another thing that sets Harry's apart from many other bars is they usually have something 'extra' going on each night. Comedy on Sunday nights... Karaoke three nights a week (Wednesday, Friday and Saturday)... and a DJ on Thursday. Pretty sure I have the right nights, anyway, call or drop by to make sure. Bob the Karaoke guy has one of the best Karaoke setups in town in my opinion. He's got far more songs on hand than most... including recent songs. The sound is as good (or bad) as you can make it - lol. I often drop by on Wednesday nights. There are a few very talented singers who drop by now and then... some regulars that vary in quality from very good to, well... the point is everyone has fun! And I don't recall seeing or hearing anyone beat up on the singers that are sing-challenged. Don't be shy, come out and give it a try! Great karaoke hangout. Seriously love me some Harry's Lounge. From the outside and on first impression, Harry's seems like a big dive bar. And it is, but, its not. I love Harry's, the vibe is bright and beautiful. Where else can people of every socioeconomic culture converge to sing their hearts out in a non-judgmental free spirited way. When I walk into Harry's and see people singing the jams they love, the pretty bright lights, the cheap drinks, the janky furniture, the terrific pool tables, I just instantly feel terrific, alive and ready to have fun. Seriously I should just give this place 1 star so it will stay the quaint unpretentious place I love but that wouldn't be fair the terrific people that work there, running the karaoke, the bar crew are so sweet and thoughtful, and then there is the kitchen crew cooking up pizza, wings, fries, and other assortments of delicious table food. Looks pretty divey on the outside and the area may be a little sketchy, but looks are deceiving! Once inside, the place is pretty big, well kept, and well-lit. I like that the clientele varies in age and race, and as a new patron, I felt very comfortable walking in. It's a total neighborhood joint, where the regulars show up every week to play pool or to sing karaoke. The bartenders are very nice, fast, and welcoming. Drinks are fairly strong and there are always drink specials (Pro tip: $2 domestic draft with Yelp check-in). The kitchen offers a typical bar menu of fried foods, chicken wings, and pizza. The buffalo wings and fries are on point. Last time we had pizza and it wasn't baked long enough. Once it came back hot, it was pretty good but not sure we'd order again.
