Was a YUUGE fan for years and years, so was devastated by the fire in January of 2025 and ecstatic when Harry's re-opened. Finally got a chance to go back recently, but was disappointed. The interior looks *exactly* the same, so no issues there. Staff greeted me warmly. Was pleased to see the small pizza special was still on offer, which has long been my go-to order. Sadly, the pie was nowhere near as good as the pizza that was available pre-fire. The crust was thinner and drier and baked longer than before. The toppings were very stingy, especially the cheese. I won't abandon Harry's after one bad pizza. So I'll order the special again, and go back another time for a couple of slices. Hopefully, I just caught them on a bad day. read more

Quick Review....Go! Location: depending on which way you're coming, the restaurant can be easy to pass if you aren't paying attention. But they do have a pretty noticeable sign outside so just keep a lookout Inside: the restaurant itself gives me a pretty laid back vintage sports bar feel. It was pretty dead when we went in but I'm sure it has its moments when it's packed out. Service and good quality: Service was good. Since it was pretty slow, we were able to place our order and get served in maybe 8-10mins tops. The slices itself were pretty good. They have a pretty good lunch special, which me and the Mrs took advantage of, and the slices were pretty big too. Main reason I'm giving them 3 stars though is because some of the staff weren't wearing mask the whole time we were there, but then again, no one was really there until we came in, then they had their mask on for the most part. Had a great time at Harry's today!! Some friends and I needed to grab a bite after river tubing. The suggestion of pizza was well received so we landed here. Best decision ! There were lots of options on the menu, everything being served looked tasty. We ordered a few pizzas and cheese bread with some fries. The food came out pretty fast! Everyone was happy with their choices. We kind of sat around a bit and chatted- the cashier checked in on us and was so friendly/welcoming. We ended up ordering Dough babies for dessert. Stopped by Harry's Pizza & Subs last night to pick up an order of 40 wings for a Super Bowl party we were headed to. Harry's is a small, old school pizza joint located on Powers Ferry Rd. near 285 (close to Heirloom Market BBQ). It's in a nondescript, sort of run-down looking strip mall with a package store and dry cleaner. At 6pm, about a half hour before kickoff, the parking lot and restaurant itself were mostly desolate. I was expecting this place to be hopping for the Super Bowl. There were only two other parties when we arrived (one dine-in, one waiting for take-out). We ordered four sets of 10 wings, each set a different flavor: mild, BBQ, lemon pepper, and teriyaki. Harry's also has a hot flavor, so they offer five flavors total. The four sets of wings were packaged in two Styrofoam containers, two sets of wings per container. Each set of wings was separated with deli paper and came with celery sticks and small plastic containers of blue cheese dressing. Orders of wings also come with fries, so the staff consolidated four wing-orders worth of fries into a single Styrofoam container for us. This order worked out to be less than $30 after tax and gratuity. Not bad at all. Wings orders (includes celery, blue cheese, and fries) are priced as follows: 8 wings - $6.99 10 wings - $7.99 13 wings - $8.99 Party trays are also available (call for pricing). There's a small condiment stand with napkins and disposable packets of ketchup, mustard, etc. Our boxes of wings were packaged nicely in a bag and waiting for us when we got there, so we just grabbed a bunch of napkins on our way out. The lady who filled our order was super sweet. The wings were still warm by the time we arrived at our Super Bowl party destination and several of the party-goers were pleased with them. I liked them, but thought they were just OK. They were a little bit chewy. Amount of sauce and flavoring for each set of wings was good. Fries were of the thick, crinkle-cut variety. One thing I think they should do differently is package the celery sticks separately from the wings. The celery sticks were very warm and malleable by the time we ate them, instead of cool and crispy. Overall, the wings from Harry's proved to be a good choice for our event. Harry's gives off a vintage neighborhood restaurant feel, complete with letter board menu and 1990s-style, non-HD, big screen projection TV. Free Wi-Fi. I'll be back to try one of their pizzas and/or subs. read more

You can find Harry's Pizza and Subs at 2150 Powers Ferry Road SE, Atlanta, GA 30339 in a small shopping center anchored by Hillside Liquor Store. Parking is to the lot out front - it's a bit tight but you should be able to find a spot. Harry's Pizza and Subs is your basic mom-and-pop pizza joint, located right at the corner of Powers Ferry and Interstate North Pky (this is the road that parallel's Aker's Mill north of I285). I find it's a very convenient location to hit after hiking the Hooch trail nearby - in fact that's how i found this place. After hiking I was left with some time and decided to try Harry's for a quick lunch and a brewskie. When I think of dive, I think of places like Harry's - not that it's nasty or anything, in fact it's relatively clean. Dive in a good connotation, in the sense of having been around for a while and catering to locals - a place that isn't pretentious and that provides a good quality of food and drink that appeals to those same locals. Harry's definitely fits that description. As you walk into Harry's you'll realize it's a bit like walking into Dr Who's Tardis - while the building facade suggests a small Sub-Station sized business, you'll find this space that expands into an atrium exposed to a dinning mezzanine upstairs. You order at the counter and someone delivers your drink (for me it was a draft Sweetwater 420 - it seemed appropriate due to the Hooch being so nearby). My food came out about 20 minutes after ordering. While there I noticed small pockets - groups of about 8 or so that were meeting. I heard conversations relating to network engineering from one group and, amazingly, RPG (think Dungeons and Dragons) coming from another - in other words, I felt right at home. While deliberating on food at the counter I picked up this to go menu which duplicates what's on the wall menu. Seems they have the usual selection, very similar to other places I've visited so everything was very recognizable. I went with a 10" Mighty Meaty New York style pizza with extra jalapenos. The pizza here is very similar to New York Pizzaria in the North Hills Shopping Center of of I285 and Chamblee Tucker Rd. In other words, delicious, a good representation of the pizza you would find in New York, and very filling. The server was quite good, answering my questions and providing suggestions - she was also quite attractive which isn't a bad thing. I notice that they have trivia night on Tuesday nights with $2 drafts - might bring in a group and check it out. I own a party venue in Buckhead and 10 pizza's were delivered today for a kids party. I am something of a pizza expert I see 5,000 pies a year. When they opened box I knew immediately that these pizzas were something special. They were super thin with cheese loaded close to the edge. I tried the pesto, absolutely fabulous. If they were closer to Buckhead it would my first referral for a great pizza. read more

Take out, peak hours, Friday night. On hold over 3 minutes, nearly hung up. Had to wait a couple minutes at counter too. Specialty pizza was a B+. Fresh ingredients and good amnt of toppings. Wings - not good... Need to be cooked so they're crispy. Buffalo sauce was wrong flavor and not enough. Interesting crinkle fries, could have been cooked more. Greek salad was the highlight ! One of the best I've had in a while, fun ingredients and great dressing. I'd like to come back for the salad and try an oven baked sub. These hole-in-the-wall places are one of my most fave places to be right about now, and Harry's Pizza & Subs was just one of those places that I almost passed up on ... thank goodness I did not because we are pretty pumped about this discovery... Pizza is thin and NY style - LOVE IT! Big flimsy fold-able slices of yummy pizza. Fresh and hand tossed - I watched the guy make it :) We also had the hot wings, and it is a regular (vinegar-based?) sauce, bleu cheese, a couple of celery sticks, and your regular crinkly fries - not the best, but it is reminiscent of my old college days, and for that, I am thankful ... and the price isnt all that bad either ... they have the baker's dozen= 13 wings for 10 bucks. Brooklyn Beer was THE BOMB. I love it - you gotta try it. It was only 3 bucks for the 16oz draft ... YAY! and other beers are also priced very well ... I mean, where in this area can you find 3 bucks for a glass of specialty beer? NOWHERE. Now, the ambiance, again, may remind you of hole in wall establishment in your college days. Rich has the worst customer service ever. I Order through Grub Hub (salad, steak and cheese, fries, and onion rings), I received everything except the onion rings. When I called the restaurant to let them know what happened, the first thing Rich says is why didn't you order through us? Sir The blonde-haired lady at the register told me the day before that you all only deliver large orders. Rich was very rude and uncompromising, refuse to do anything to assist and told me I need to contact Grub Hub. I will never patronize this restaurant again after years of being a customer. read more

I work right down the street from Harry's. We have ordered from them in the past but recently have had poor customer service during the day. They said they don't do delivery during the day for orders less than $50. We have several small team meetings during the week and we actively are trying to spend money with them but they always turn away our business so we've started using another local pizza place. read more
