My favorite tavern in metro Atlanta! Parking is easy and plentiful. I've gone here in person plenty of times as well as had it delivered through ubereats, and it is one of the most consistent restaurants I've ever come across. I've never had a bad experience here in person, the servers are friendly and prompt. I'll be honest and say I'm only ever here for lunch, so I don't know what the dinner rush is like. The lunch atmosphere is very comfortable and relaxed, with some sports excitement if a prime game is being played. The beer & cider list is rotating and extensive, they even usually have several varieties of mead available, which is pretty cool. The food is well-executed bar food that comes out nice and hot. The chicken tenders are some of the best I've ever had- the batter isn't too heavy, it's flavorful, has all the crunchy nooks and crannies you could want, and comes with their delicious house-made honey mustard. The fries are good but I always get the onion straws for my side, I'm a sucker for onion straws and these are perfectly breaded without being greasy. The mozzarella sticks are massive, a little tricky to maneuver but so worth it since they're made in house and not just your typical frozen bag kind. Another app I really enjoy is the mini corn dogs that also come with the yummy honey mustard. On my last visit I tried the jalapeño bacon cheese bites which were tasty. Salty, which is to be expected, with a combo of both cheddar and cream cheese that made for a nice gooey center. I have eaten at Laseters a few times and it was pretty good. Tonight I got delivery, all items I haven't had before, and I have never had food so awful. Eggrolls - disgusting, and I mean absolutely awful, even the sauce is terrible. Ribeye - only seasoned with black pepper, extremely heavy char on the outside, not cooked thoroughly or evenly on the inside, terrible taste overall. Steamed broccoli - maybe flashed steamed at best, and it tasted like dirt. Fries - were ok. Mashed potatoes and gravy - were pretty good. Chopped salad - good but extremely light on the toppings, it's mostly just lettuce. Other than the salad and the potatoes, everything got thrown away. Complete waste of money. I can't say I'll even ever step foot inside that place again this food was so bad. read more

I still love coming to this place. Great food and chill vibes. This bar is in the middle of a strip mall. All the other venues are closed at night so there is plenty of parking. I came during the day and there was still plenty of parking spots and people here. There seems to be a mix of older and younger crowd here. I really like the atmosphere. I came in at 1pm and found a spot right at the bar. The staff is friendly and the service was pretty relaxed. The Super Sampler Platter came with gigantic mozzarella sticks, potato skins, buffalo shrimp, chicken wings, mini corn dogs, jalapeno poppers, and chicken tenders. This platter was better than I remembered. It also came with dipping sauces of honey mustard, sour cream, marinara sauce, ranch, and blue cheese. I also ordered the nachos with beef which was ok. Maybe I was hungry, but their fried okra was amazing. I also enjoyed my mac & cheese and the tater tots, plus hubs liked his burger. I'm coming back for that okra if I'm ever in this part of Atlanta again. We really enjoyed our meal here as the ambiance was very neighborhood sports bar and we felt welcome even though we were hundreds of miles from home. What an absolute slay!! Had went to a movie at the AMC near by and wanted a bite to eat so we stumbled in here. It was a seat yourself but for a Saturday night it was popping! But we found a table Waitress was nice and grabbed us some drinks and they had some draft beer on sale special which was great. The restaurant itself was cute and had great sports bar vibes. For food, we decided to share a bunch of plates so we for chips and queso, mozzarella sticks, potato skins and fries. I'm not going to lie they killed this. We've been to Laseter's Tavern many times over the years because the wings are great, the pool tables are fun, and the servers have usually been solid. That's the only reason this review isn't years old. But after what happened on Thursday, 02/26/2026, we left before ordering and will never return. The problem is Rosie (the hostess - I believe that was her name). I can't be certain since even the manager wouldn't give out her name. If you've had a bad first impression walking into Laseter's, there's a good chance you've met her. From the moment we walked in, Rosie greeted us with the same attitude we've experienced before--dismissive, rude, and acting like we were inconveniencing her by showing up. No hello, no "how many," no communication. She simply led us to a tiny round two-top next to the bar without saying a word. We politely asked if we could sit at a four-top instead. The restaurant was not crowded, it was pouring rain, and there were plenty of open tables throughout the entire place. We also explained we planned to order drinks, appetizers, and two wing entrees, and that the small round two-tops are so cramped you can barely fit two plates and drinks--let alone appetizers. Rosie's response? Cold and condescending: we had three choices--and she literally pointed at three separate bar-side two-tops and said we could sit "here, there, or there." I asked again and explained again and she pointed to three options again. A third time this happened. That was it. No attempt to help. No basic hospitality. Just a power trip. When we asked again (still calmly), she repeated the exact same thing. Then she claimed there's a "policy" that only parties of 3+ can sit at a four-top. Funny, because the open section of the restaurant already had a two-person party sitting there at a four-top and plenty of empty tables around them. So either that policy isn't real, or it's enforced selectively--either way, it was handled in the most hostile way possible. Eventually she "allowed" us to sit in the open section, but still placed us at a small square two-top. At that point, the damage was already done. And then she made it worse: she made eye contact with me and threw her head back laughing. When my fiancé turned around, she made eye contact with him and gave another exaggerated laugh--like she was trying to provoke a reaction. It was bizarre and completely unprofessional. We told our server what happened. He shrugged it off and gave us a blank look--no apology, no "let me get a manager," nothing. That's when we decided to leave. And yes, after a confrontation like that, we weren't exactly excited to eat food coming out of a kitchen where the hostess clearly had it out for us. We went to Taco Mac, were treated with respect, and had a great evening--exactly what we expected when we originally chose Laseters for a quick, casual night out. Laseters: you lost loyal customers over one person's consistent attitude and a total lack of professionalism at the front door. Rosie should not be the first point of contact for paying customers if this is how she treats people. If management cares at all, they need to address it--because if she behaves like this with regulars, I can't imagine how many first-timers you've lost. I will never recommend Laseters and will make sure to voice where we go and how rudely we were treated. read more

We have been to many restaurants/bars around ATL but none have the real feel of a home town pub/tavern like Laseters. The wings and shrimp are our go to appetizers and then to the Blue Plate! - options that are fantastic like homemade. Portions are generous and fill you up! Then the ice cold beer/craft options and specials seem unlimited. All this served up by people that care and seem to actually like their jobs! The food hot and fresh. I ordered the wings and fries combo to start. Then I ordered the egg rolls appetizer. Both were good! Our waitress was sweet. She was the only waitress which meant she had a whole bar to take care of. Eventually it was too much so the manager ended up helping with serving food and drinks. Nonetheless, I was able to grab a table -- there is no host to seat you. The tavern is generally pretty loud and with a few screens along the walls. Our waiter was very nice, but we had to flag him down a couple times to refill our drinks, get the check, etc. I ordered 10 wings in the sweet chili sauce. The way they treat some of their regular clientele is ok, but if you are new you get to be the butt of an inside joke. Where everyone who sees black or brown people walk in, they are looking for a reason not to serve you and ban you. And the owner lets them do it. The food is ok. Your typical bar food. But to the way I was treated the other night was unfair and was giving 1950s segregation. A waste of a good night because nobody has your back in this place. And the tacos are disgusting. BURGER - $7 For my last visit, I had the 4 oz. burger which comes with a side (wide selection!) - it's January so I decided to balance the burger w/ a healthy side lol, their Caesar salad :) The burger is charbroiled which I love, and came w/ the usual toppings - lettuce, tomato, red onions, and pickles. The Caesar salad was a generous portion for a side salad - and all fresh lettuce pieces. I kept telling my colleague I couldn't believe this was just $7. Laseters is my jam. It's reminds of a locals only tavern with a modern twist. Came here on a Thursday night right in the middle of trivia and this place was rocking. Seating is first come first serve which might be a bit confusing to newcomers but don't worry the bartender or staff will direct you. There's a bonus room with pool and darts if your curious. But I do love the food. I like to go with the buffalo chicken tendies and garden salad, but there is so much to choose on the menu. The wings are awesome and the sandwiches are tasty. My spouse got the patty melt which is her go to. The sandwich looked a bit underdone but was still hot and tasty. A few friends and I came here a couple days ago for trivia night and really enjoyed it. I feel like the food could've been a little better- I didn't hate what we ordered but I wasn't crazy about it either. The prices were good though. The location is super convenient and there was ample parking out front. Trivia was super fun and our waiter was courteous. I like the vibes inside. My group ended up winning $50 worth of house credit since we won first place, so we will definitely be back! Keep in mind if you come for trivia, I'd get there at least 20 min early! A nice chill, loud, fun, sports bar that has a lot of food options. Kitchen closes at 12am. We got here around 11pm and was able to order drinks & food. For drinks I ordered a moscow mule and for food I ordered the buffalo chicken tenders and a side of french fries. It was good! The french fries were amazing, it had a nice crunch exterior and soft in the middle, salted perfectly. I would order those every time. The crowd was cool. Typical bar vibes as a local. They have plenty of tvs to watch the games. You can sit at the bar or at one of the many dining tables. The back room has a pool table. This is really the definition of your local, tried and true bar. I have been in a few times and it never fails to deliver exactly what it is you're looking for. We came in today just to have lunch in our friend's section and the food was better than I remember it being! She is also such a pleasure and hard worker and made our experience lovely. We ordered the Thai chicken salad: Nice presentation and adequate portion for price! Blackened shrimp tacos: These were sweet and spicy, with an awesome mango salsa! I really enjoyed the flavor of these and they had quite a few protein options as well. Tomato basil soup: This had some crunch vegetable bits in it that made it more "hearty" and the cheese on top was tasty. She treated my friends like crap. Literally not waiting on them as they sat next to the trivia people. Me and my friend came on a Thursday trivia night, and showed up 15 minutes before start time ... poor planning on our part. The staff was so incredibly attentive and worked diligently to get everybody who was waiting in line a table as quickly as possible. We ended up sitting at some seats that were open at the bar and met the nicest people, both in the patrons sitting near us and the staff behind the bar. The food was very good and well-priced. The trivia was engaging and timed very well, never feeling rushed to answer and being able to participate while having conversations with the people around us and enjoying our meal. They had music playing between the questions and a mixture of sports and shows on the TV screens all around. It's hard to find a place that checks all of the boxes, but Laseters Tavern does it seemingly effortlessly. We will definitely be coming back again! read more

Laseter's is a neighborhood tavern that's been around for decades. When possible, I like to support locally-owned businesses and have frequented this place for years with both dine-in and take-out orders. But after an unpleasant experience yesterday, I've decided to move on. Okay. For the record, I'm "Mr. Please and Thank You", and I care about basic kindness. I don't have impossible standards for a server, but I would like a greeting (preferably a friendly one), and a thank you when the transaction is over. I know that being a server is hard work and frequently a thankless job. But being pleasant is a fundamental part of the job, especially with the patrons who are doing their best to be pleasant too. I walked in and the bartender was in the corner of the bar with her back toward me. She didn't appear to be busy. She appeared to be doing something with her phone, but I could be mistaken. I couldn't access where she was standing because a couple of patrons were already sitting next to where she was standing. Except for them, nobody else was at the bar. I sat at the bar close by and waited patiently for the bartender to turn around and notice me. When she finally turned around, she seemed surprised that I was there. I jokingly said, "Hi. I snuck up on you." She didn't say "Oh, hi. I'm sorry. I didn't see you come in. What can I get you?" In fact, she said nothing at all. She just looked at me. This stare was her way of communicating "What do you want?" I told her that I was there for take-out order that I placed online. She said nothing, walked away and returned with my order. I said "thank you." She responded with silence. I then asked her if they still served egg rolls, which I was unable to order online. She said "yes." I informed her that I'm asking because they're not available on the online menu. I assumed that that was a mistake, but she added "It's up to the manager." I asked, "Is there a reason that the manager wouldn't want to sell egg rolls to take-out customers?" She responded something to the effect that "I don't know. The manager makes the decisions." I only mentioned the egg rolls because I was hoping she would inform the powers that be that this item was mistakenly left them off the online menu. I realized that she clearly wasn't having it, and because of her disposition, I should have known better than to ask anything more of this person. So I just said thank you one more time, got no response, and went on my way. read more

Laseters is an Atlanta institution. They have great bar food, pool tables, and one of the longest running and most popular bar trivia games in town. And they don't mess around, i have seen them bust people cheating with no remorse, so put your phones down until you turn in your answer!
