The burger is excellent. Service was great. I know it's a distillery but I wish they did have a kids menu. I don't drink.

Food menu. I was searching for a recent menu and it was unclear if they had food or not so I took this to try and help future people.

I went for an event and it was great. Bar service was a bit slower to due the overwhelming amount of people so it was good to be patient. Servers were great and drinks were good. Happy hour specials were great too.

"The barrel room" speakeasy located behind the actually distillery is something truly amazing. The ambience, decorations, and lighting were on point. It has a little dark mysterious vibes while still being extremely high class. It's small and only seats maybe 20 or 30 people which is nice compared to the open space of the front. The best part about this place was the cocktails!! First of all they change the theme monthly and the month I happened to go was it's always sunny in Philadelphia which is one of my favorite shows! All the speciality cocktails were named after things from the show and my favorite being the rum ham which actually came with a small piece of ham! The bartender was amazing. She was not only attentive but extremely knowledgeable about the spirits and the drinks. I don't remember her name but she had curly hair and deserves a huge shout out. Also the sip of champagne we were given when we sat down was a super nice touch. Would recommend 10/10

Mocktail time! I tried the Strawberry blonde. According to the menu made with Seedlip grove, strawberry shrubb, lime, simple and ginger beer. It had a little zing. According to our friendly bartender because of their ginger beer. Also nice: they give you a bottle of tapwater and glasses at the moment you sit down.

The Barrel room is a must do! The staff are so great at making something that matches your preferences but the menu itself has so many great choices. The drinks taste great but the presentation of it all really adds to the experience! Would highly recommend this for a fun night out!

I had a "Safeword" mocktail. It was very nice, lemony. Seedlip grove, rosemary simple, lemon. I can see this as a refreshing drink, but at $8.00, I think rather expensive. It might be slightly less expensive during Happy Hour; a draught beer is only $5.00 during the 4-7 happy hour.

Hartman's is one of my favorite places to stop by and grab a drink when I'm in the city with some friends. I highly recommend checking out Hartman's food while you're at it as well. The sweet potato hummus is not to be slept on! The charcuterie board was a little bit light on the bread so be prepared to eat with your hands but overall all cheeses were delightful. The Loganberry vodka from Hartman is incredible and I highly recommend picking it up if you get a chance. The weight staff is incredibly hard-working, but it can be hard at times to put in drinks and food orders because there are not waiters that serve the actual tables. The vibe is so fresh and clean, definitely a great place to spend some time with friends.

This is a regular stop for us when we are in Buffalo. Truly enjoy their ambiance and set up. Their cocktails are top notch and they'll always be a spot for us to go to when visiting Buffalo.

Hartman's is lovely!! Great bar, very friendly service. The ambience is excellent, they clearly have very good taste in interior decor. Very nice bathrooms, we appreciate those. Would revisit.

Great drinks-high quality and innovative. Food is meh--nothing wrong with it but nothing outstanding jumped out at us. I had a chicken sandwich with greens on the side. Hubby had a Cuban sandwich, also with greens. It is a noisy ambience with loud music in the bar area. There are also several TVs to monitor sports. Service was prompt and attentive. Liked the bottle of water left on the table.

Chicken sandwich (delish) and their version of Mac salad (which was very disappointing)

Met my friend here midweek for dinner and to catch up. It was a slightly rainy day so it was not busy. Little did we know they also had DJ Trivia on Wednesdays so it was fun to play along without actually participating. My friend ordered the spinach artichoke dip and I ordered the chicken sandwich. Sandwich was good, chicken breast was small. We both ordered the mac salad and were REALLY disappointed in it. It was shells with a mayo/sriracha mix, that's it. It was not good; neither of us liked it or ate it. We ordered a side of potato wedges instead. Chips with the dip were borderline stale, but it was very humid out so we didn't ask for new ones . It was happy hour until 7 so we were also able to enjoy a few drinks!

One of the funnest times I had when I came back to visit Buffalo. The Barrel Room Speakeasy in the back is a must try. It's a little pricey but totally worth it, you need reservations for it. All of the bartenders here are top notch and really know their stuff. Fun drinks and the vibe is perfect. Great for a date night. This place is like a reverse mullet, business in the back and party in the front. Once we came out from a relaxing elevated time in the back, it was time to PARTY. Fantastic DJ with a killer setlist. Alyssa the bartender was KILLING it on drinks and service. Delivering cold ones faster and more efficient than any other bartender I saw that weekend. Kept the party going all night. Make sure you go say hi, have a drink for me, and TIP YOUR BARTENDERS

Had a great time here for a happy hour with my coworkers. I got the icehog princess to start which is like a loganberry mule. It was great! Then I got a loganberry seltzer after which was also good. As a snack we got the pretzel bites and spinach and artichoke dip. We really like the space here. The vibe was great with the music and patio open. The staff was also friendly and the food came out quickly!

We ventured out into downtown area to grab a drink & hopefully find a spot still serving food. We stumbled across House of Charm while searching online info for something nearby. The exterior is unassuming but easy to spot & the delightful interior was funky, fun & welcoming. Music wasn't insanely loud but was there & the number of interesting "charms" sprinkled throughout the establishment were a total gas. My favorite was the deconstructed Barbie parts displayed on small hooks at the end of the bar. The staff was lovely & came over to greet us in a timely manner. Assured us that they still had a late night menu & then we got to have THE BEST SPICY MARGARITAS EVER!!! The paninis were also yummy & we each got a piece of chocolate & a Dum Dum included on our plates for dessert. But seriously! The spicy margarita! Was absolute Fire I love spicy & am often disappointed if I'm trying a Spicy Marg out & about. Even if I ask for extra spicy...it never really is. But this guys Spicy Margarita was AMAZING!! Both myself & my husband (who doesn't love spicy like I do) were able to enjoy the drinks. They were spicy enough that I enjoyed them & the flavor profile was still balanced & delicious so my hubby was also a huge fan. Of all the places we got to try while in Buffalo, House of Charm was by far my favorite!

Starting with ambiance.......2 full sized bars with plenty of tv viewing if that is what you are in to while there. The seating area is well lit with natural light and comfortable, well spaced seating. We were greeted by our quiet, yet smiley server, Raymond. He was warm, efficient and also gave us great recommendations (coupled with personal stories as to why they were recommended). We ordered drinks (their craft cocktail menu is one of the best I have seen) and then perused the menu. We went with Raymond's recommendation to order 2 cinnamon rolls for the table (we were leary as many places whose claim to fame for having the "best" cinnamon roll, fall short). We also ordered 2 of the multigrain breakfast sandwiches, a smashburger, Brasserie breakfast sandwich, and the biscuits and gravy (highly recommended by Raymond as well). Everything was OUTSTANDING! Phrases like "seriously the combination of this breakfast sandwich with pancakes as the buns is the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had." And, the cinnamon rolls!!! Raymond wasn't lying when he said they were the best. All 5 of us agreed that they were the best cinnamon rolls we have ever had, and lo and behold then had a conversation about what makes a good cinnamon roll - these check ALL of the boxes. We are still talking today about the great atmosphere, service and drinks/food at this establishment. And yes, there may STILL be talk about the cinnamon rolls. Don't sleep on this place!

First off, I was greeted and found staff friendly and efficient! You have plenty of options for seating .. dining area, front bar, back bar, even an outdoor patio bar. Although it is dive bar-esque, it was nice and clean (let's be honest .. some dives have a stench and stickiness that can definitely ruin your appetite, no matter how much you may love them). They have a set up for bands to play, as one was playing while I was there for their 2 year anniversary (congrats!). What was nice is although I could hear the band (it was playing in the back and I was up front), it wasn't over whelming me. I have eaten places where, no matter where you sit, it's extremely loud, and I appreciated that you had a choice here. Now onto the food: The food should have been doomed to fail; my tastebuds were prepared to eat sweet, buttery, syrupy French toast with a mocktail at brunch elsewhere. But wasn't hyped about the menu because of this (which is not dog and pony's fault .. I had to work and didn't have time to research where else brunch was available). I settled on the umami smashburger by a suggestion of my waitress. Now once again, could have been doomed to fail as I'm not a French fry person and my favorite cheeseburger is one I make on my own. BUT WOW their food blew me away and made me forget all about my brunch let-down. The French fries were fantastic and had a great seasoning on them! The smashburger was great to the last bite .. and I was NOT expecting to finish it as it was a really nice portion (I ate lunch now 10 hours ago and didn't need to eat again it was so filling!) but it was so dang gone good I sure finished it! Smoked cheddar .. chimichuri aioli ... kimchi bacon jam .. oh ya that bacon jam was EVERYTHING!! Thank you to the staff at Dog and Pony for making my long drive worth while!

This was their first time here and admittedly I was happy because they haven't had many pleasant food experiences in Buffalo. I believe they haven't been going to the best places but that's another conversation for another day. Okay so let's dig into the experience. We were running late and arrived at approximately 9:40 pm. I was nervous that we'd either a) be turned away or b) not get the best service since it was so close to the time that they closed. Let me be the first to say that that was not the case at all. We were seated in the most perfect little nook tucked away near the door. Dimly lit but cozy for good vibes and good food. Our server Megan came over and she was truly delightful. She provided really great recommendations. It was the perfect mix of personal reccs, insight on bestsellers, and answers to our mainy questions. We ultimately settled on two pizzas, fried rice, and a buyer (not pictured). The food came out in a timely manner. The drinks were incredible and the service was undeniable. Special shoutout to Megan again for offering a one of a kind experience. Misc: There's a parking lot next door to the building never knew. Prices are a tad steep but the vibes are good.
