Classic Mink Lashes one week after getting them done. Still full and pretty.

This was my first time getting my lashes done professionally and I'm really glad I did my research and went with this place. Customer service was prompt and detailed. The process was so soothing I fell asleep. I woke up to beautiful lashes at a great price. Three weeks later and they still look good! Thats why I wrote a review and I'll leave some pictures for us brown/black girlies to see how they look on US.

I wanted to get my lashes done before my new york trip so I don't have to wear makeup everyday but also not look too crusty lol I got the classic mink with Grace and I loveee the results! She was very kind, gentle, professional, and quick (only took 50 mins) and I especially love how natural it turned out which is what I requested for. The studio is cute and neat, clean bathroom as well. A lot of free two hour street parking available. I would definitely come back to get it done with Grace before any special occasions.

This review is based on my visit on 5/17/23. I just recall that my partial review was left neglected for months... My bad. So I got my lashes done on 5/17, one day before my 45-day Japan trip. I did not purposely take any before-after photos, so it might not be best to show the marvelous job Grace did. I found photos taken on 6/11(Day 26 after the lashes were done), and a comparison of 5/21 and 6/30 (Day 5 vs. Day 46 after). I have to say Grace did a fantastic job on my lash extensions. They survived my entire trip! I was hiking in the mountains, climbing hills. They survived intensive sunlight with my excessive sweating, regular drizzling to rain storms, and hot springs. It saved me from having my makeup all melted from all those conditions cause with the outstanding lashes, I don't need my mascara for sure, moreover, I can skip my eyeliners. And it would not be fun if any of those smeared /smashed on my face when you hardly can find the "sweat-proof" ones. Service-wise, Grace was sweet as usual (been coming to her for years though the South Pasadena location was fairly new). The place was always kept clean. The music was relaxing and I almost fell asleep. It's not only you get your lashes done beautifully but also you would have a "peace moment" to rest. Currently, there are two lash techs: Grace and Yoly. I usually get Grace but Yoly is just as sweet as Grace. Both are professional to the customers. This is the one and only place I get my lashes done, and I believe it will be.

if you're looking for a new lash spot- this is it! I'm hesitant to try new lash places because they either irritated my eyes or look super bold. Yoly perfected a natural look. The space is very clean and has peaceful music playing to create a peaceful ambiance.

My first time going to Haruki Lash Studio was amazing. Their prices are super affordable, I ended up getting a removal and a full set of Classic Mink extensions. The removal process was extremely comfortable, no tugging sensations. My lashes are light and thin, but Yoly had no issues applying the lashes efficiently with no errors at all. Her method of applying the stickers under your eyes was also extremely comfortable as I am used to having discomfort during the application, but none with Yoly! I had my appointment in the morning and the atmosphere was very calm and tranquil. Definitely recommend, the service is on par with any high-end lashing studio yet has affordable pricing. read more

I got my eyelashes done here on Saturday afternoon when most places are super busy. I called and they gave me an appointment right away. I love the place, it's super clean and so relaxing. I've gotten lash extensions done at a few other lash studios, but kept looking as I had yet to find a place that could master the "natural" look. I decided to try Haruki as I was really impressed by the photos posted and the pricing is very fair. I have never been this happy with my lash extensions - they look SO natural and I'm always getting compliments and people asking if my lashes are real. Yoly did my lashes for my honeymoon to Thailand. They survived swimming in the beach and the pool PLUS windy outdoor excursions in Land Rover, speedboat and riding on the back of a scooter! I could feel them hanging on and I was so surprised I didn't lose a single lash in two weeks. Currently reaching week 4 and most of them are still on but I set an appointment for a refill anyway! Definitely the longest lashes I've had, I definitely recommend coming here! read more

I love my experience here. I tried out 3 different lash studios in the 626 area and feel like I found the one here! The first place gave me eyeball bruise, the second place charge more for a "half set", meanwhile Yoly did it just right plus the studio has a nice ambience! Will definitely come back. read more

Currently on week 3 and 90% of my lashes are still on. It survived a trip to Cabos with lots of water/swimming and camping right after. The shape is still intact and I'm very happy with how it still looks. I don't get lashes often and don't know much about the lash styles so she helped me with deciding what I should get for my eye shape. read more

Update: I have now gone to both Yoly & Grace and can confirm Grace is amazing as well! Super sweet girl and gentle lash application. I absolutely loved the look of my lashes when she did them ! She also gave me recommendations on length, saving me from a super heavy look but still keeping them long, wispy, and beautiful :) read more

The ladies here know what they are doing. Amazing work every time I go in. My lashes look so natural after each appointment. Not to mention, they also last very long as well. Wanted to try a new lash place so gave Mini Beauty Eyelash a try. I didn't like the way my lashes…read morelooked in the end but it wasn't entirely their fault because I didn't explain myself well enough. There were also a few other things I didn't like about how the tech did my lashes so at first, I was just going to decide to not go back here and not write a review, but when the lashes started falling out, I felt so bad for my natural lashes that I can't help but write this review, so here's what happened. The appointment was reserved for an hour and a half, but she told me she was done within 45 minutes. This is strange to me because other lash techs have told me I have more lashes than a regular person so it normally takes the whole time and even then, they don't usually cover each lash. It also hurt more than usual. She was pulling on my lashes quite a bit, but again I didn't complain. After a few days, the lashes started falling off taking a bunch of my natural lashes along with it. Attached is a picture of the lash CLUMPS that fell off my eyes. If you can tell, there's about ten of my natural lashes that fell off with a bunch of fake lashes and they were all glued together. I have never had this issue anywhere else. Please don't go here. They rush their appointments and don't care about your natural lashes. At the end of the day, you'd be lucky to have any lashes left.

Both times that i got my lashes done, i got blepharitis. i know this isn't a user error because i took care of them as they say to. but im more concerned with their placement. i noticed they dont focus on isolation which is key to lash extensions. they place them on 2-4 lashes at a time which also caused me to loose a lot of lashes while getting them removed. i had to go to another licensed lash technician to assist me and who was able to educate me more on lash extensions. because the extensions is on multiple lashes at a time; there was no room for my natural lashes to breath or release their natural oils and caused buildup as they are bunched up at the root. my natural lashes are falling out and i had to go get checked out by a doctor and was given a prescription. ive had lash extensions before and this has never happened to me only after i came to this company. just be mindful and be educated if you're considering booking. i just personally will never come here again.

Be prepared to wait about 15-30 minutes past your appointment time, as the lash tech (Elaine) is usually finishing up with another client. She was sweet, and the overall vibe was calming. I even fell asleep during sessions thanks to the soft instrumental music. However, the lashes themselves were just okay. At all three appointments, my eyes burned during and after the application, and I had to use a fan every time to relieve the discomfort. The classic sets I got during the first two visits had poor retention. Maybe it's because they're classics. I experienced daily fallout, which was annoying as stray lashes would poke my eyes. The third time, I tried a volume set and they were gone by day 25, which I'm not complaining. The style looked bulky, black, and unnatural, but slowly started looking like classic with fallout (which was also itchy/poking me). I made sure to clean and fan-dry my lashes every other day. Also, keep in mind that switching styles doesn't come with any kind of pricing adjustment. She did check how many weeks had passed since my last visit, so I thought there might be a slight discount but nope. Overall, the lashes are cute, but I wouldn't return. I've since found a new lash tech where retention is better, and I've had no burning from the glue or daily fall out.

They are very busy, people come and go, one after another, and the same person and lady that Made my lashes alternate between picking up the phone and answering clients who just arrived. I have naturally short lashes and got the 2D Hybrid with 8-9-10mm Cat Eye with J curve and it looks amazing. My technician, Alisa, did a stellar job and it looks absolutely perfect. Not a lash out of place or misdirected, all seamlessly flowing as if they were real. It feels and looks so natural and does not feel weighted down nor does it change your eye shape. I have visited Harkui Lash Studio twice. I booked with the first available person, once with Yoli and once with Grace. Both were excellent. After my first appointment I went on a 35 day trip to Japan, where it was extremely hot and I did a lot of walking, and my lashes held up the entire time! The second time was over the holidays, so not as extreme, and my lashes held up just as long. I would just recommend that the hygienic sheets on the bed be changed between clients because it was slightly dirty by the shoe and head area. All other items were clean.
