The pharmacist, Brian, is always helpful with any questions in person or by phone. If not available he will call you back. I was recently surprised to find that HVPharm was the specialty pharmacy making specialized eye drops for my mother who lives an hour away. I was able to contact The pharmacy twice with my parent's questions and talk right to the my personal pharmacist who had made the drops. Only negatives: because they are small, you sometimes need to go elsewhere or wait (if you can) until the next day for less common Rxs. They do not have the hours of big chain pharmacies if you get an emergency night or weekend script.

Now I've been on phone for 15 minutes waiting. My app and phone system says I don't have a prescription. Its 4pm. My doctor's office says it was sent in at 2pm. Someone just picked up call for a minute and put me on hold. I was told last time I dealt with them a month ago, that their phone system had problems. That time to finally get to pharmacy, I had to direct call to manager who walked back to pharmacy to help me communicate. A couple of times that I was in store, I could hear customers complaining with pharmacy.

I came to look for some personal essentials, tights and under garments. I did come across a rack of clearance items and picked up some tops. Then I tackled the plus size section, which was a struggle when hangers or those shoulder bands get tangled onto other hangers. I had to fight just to make fot my size. The one dress I wanted they only had smaller sizes mixed in. So I ended up with 1 dress. It was cute for work/church. Then I headed to the one section I dread, which was the hosiery and under garment section. I was glad to see the tights ai like that fit perfectly in my size, so I grabbed what I could. Then I picked up some knee highs in various colors. The prices were reasonable. I did find a pair of pantyhose in a specific color that I wanted, but I am feeling leery that they will not fit, but for the price I will take the gamble. Then I went to look for some underwear, which was a struggle since the sizes were all over the place. But I did manage to find the size and colors I wanted. Check out was a breeze. Lolita ( I think I spelled it right) was very accommodating since I didn't want to place my clothing onto the conveyor belt. She was very pleasant and made my day.

I've always found the prices at Giant to be a little bit above average. We did find some steaks on sale, however, because they were nearing expiration dates. Red peppers were also on sale. We picked up some mushrooms and some big bottles of V-8. Getting the V-8 was the reason for the shopping visit. It was on our way while we were heading northbound on York Road. My wife and I may shop here again, but it's not really our favorite store nor is it in our neighborhood. BTW: We were able to find a good handicap parking spot.

I accepted the date and time they suggested over the phone. Upon arrival i was questioned as to why i was getting the shots that day. I advised that it was their suggestion of date and time. I was shown a clipboard showing i was the only one scheduled that day and told it was their busiest day of the year. They offered the flu shot then but suggested I reschedule RSV as it takes some 15 minutes or so to prepare . While awaiting the flu shot to be administered i was then advised my Medicare ID was invalid due to a hack of the govt site. I told them it had been accepted at GBMC , by my PCP and my Dermatologist in the past week. I left with no vax administered. I called Medicare and was advised the Card # i had for the past 15 years had not been hacked and was ok. This week they would not fill a script for two blood pressure meds because they don't carry them? These are both readily available and widely prescribed throughout the USA. CVS, Walgreens etc. This script was marked received successfully by the "My Pharmacy" app they recommend for their patients. See photo below. Only upon arrival did they advise they wont fill the scripts. Everyone there is very nice but my experience has caused to me to move to another Pharmacy. Proceed with caution.

Best of all, when I needed to speak to the pharmacist, I was connected almost immediately after speaking to a real person! The gift shop has high-quality items as well as the usual tchotchkes. I have had multiple recent experiences with inaccurate prescription information and extremely rude customer service. Last month, I received a text notification stating that my prescription was ready. I drove approximately 30 minutes to the pharmacy, only to be told that the prescription was not actually ready. Today, I had another prescription sent by my doctor. After it was sent, I followed up multiple times--three times today--to confirm that the pharmacy had received it. Each time, I was told that they did not have the prescription. To make matters worse, the person who answered the phone was extremely rude and had a very unpleasant attitude. I understand that pharmacies can be busy and that mistakes happen. However, the combination of repeated communication issues and consistently poor customer service is unacceptable. This is especially disappointing because I have been a customer for two years and did not previously experience this level of service. Unfortunately, based on these recent experiences, I will no longer be using this pharmacy. I also would not recommend it to others, including people I work with or my own patients who may ask for a pharmacy recommendation. I hope management takes this feedback seriously because the quality of customer service has clearly changed.
