Stopped there for a late breakfast today. Had scrambled eggs, taylor ham and potatoes with whole wheat toast. The eggs were so yummy and fluffy. Sometimes diner eggs have no taste. Great atmosphere, wonderful meal & BYOB! Liked the idea of sharing the meal that way you get to taste everything. Each entree was delicious, I don't know which I liked best. We chose to have the Blackened Salmon, Parmesan Crusted Chicken Tower & the Pan Roasted Filet Tips. Dessert was also fabulous! Upset with this establishment... ordered take-out, 2 items.. both wraps were wrong... missed key ingredients... called to let them know .. abrupt and rude gentleman answered .. insistent that he saw fellow employee put key ingredients on... told him ingredients not on... a bit back and forth ... I ask why is he arguing with me... he says if i was arguing would just hang up on you.. what?! Then he says he is only one there so he cant bring correct items... but I could bring MY stuff back.. what is point of take-out??? I'm at work. ... I was calling to let them know, I wasn't looking for anything...we all have bad days... hopefully he doesn't have many or they will lose customers read more

I wandered into this place when I was on my way to get my car serviced and knew I better grab a bite to eat before playing the waiting game. I didn't know what to expect but I was very pleasantly surprised! The atmosphere was lovely ( regretfully I had to take out), the service was wonderful, and the menu was even better! The soups were plentiful and my mushroom soup was absolutely delicious with my goat cheese and chicken salad. This was gourmet level take out and the price wasn't bad at all. I got a soup and salad along with a drink for a little over $12. The service was also very quick and accommodating. The man at the counter was friendly and helpful with providing details about the menu. Parking was a available even though it's on main road. When I first heard the name of this place, I have to admit I was excited. As a vegan, I love eating out and this place sounded like it could have options for me. Sadly, I was disappointed when I saw the menu. There seems to be only 4 or so items that could qualify as vegetarian, meaning that everything else had meat. Fortunately, I was able to find something to eat by modifying the falafel wrap to remove the tzatziki. My food was actually delicious and very filling. I just feel like with a name like "Harvest Bistro" it might be in their best interest to offer more vegetarian and even some vegan choices. read more

We came in for a quick bite after walking patriots path and didn't realize the place was closing. The staff didn't rush us or make us feel as though we were an inconvenience. The food was great. I ordered the coconut chicken and grape salad and my husband had a turkey and bacon sandwich. Both were very good but I would choose the salad over the sandwich. read more

Popped in for lunch while shopping in Madison today. So many choices on the menu, I change my mind 3 times before ordering. Ultimately my Fox Hunt was absolutely delicious and my mother loved the quiche special. Great friendly staff. And a really cute dining area. They just opened for dinner Thursday nights, Friday nights, and Saturday nights. We just happened to pass by and pop in. The fireplace was roaring and light music was funneling through the shop. It was very cozy. We both shared the crab cake. I had the homemade tomato soup. For our entrees, I had the best rigatoni bolognese and my partner had the short ribs. We finished off with homemade banana bread pudding. All was amazing and the staff was very friendly and quick to respond. I highly recommend this quaint restaurant. read more
