I recently came here with the family to celebrate my brother's birthday. We made reservations in advance, so we got seated right away on a Saturday night. The atmosphere of this restaurant was great. Service from everyone here was outstanding. The staff went above and beyond. This place is a BYOB, so we brought some wines to enjoy with our meals. We started off with some apps. We tried the calamari, meatballs, and clams. All 3 of these appetizers were outstanding. They all tasted so good and perfectly sharable. I especially enjoyed the meatballs. Everyone's main dish meal was great too. No complaints from anyone. I had the chicken parm, and it was delicious. I also tried some of the salmon dish, and that was great too. Everything was seasoned perfectly and overall we had an awesome time here.

Came in a Thursday night for a wedding rehearsal dinner. Our group took up the entire restaurant which is quite cozy and tastefully decorated. A little understaffed, but all waitstaff were professional and amiable. The vodka sauce rigatoni appetizer was absolutely fantastic, I'd come back just for a full plate of those bad boys. For an entree I had chicken mushroom with spinach and garlic mashed potatoes, very very good. So the cooks In the back have it down pat, if I'm ever back in the area I'd def go back, if you're lucky to live close, I'm jealous.

Went back again and the food was good. Chicken Parm was good - I prefer not to have the pesto sauce on top. Shrimp Fra Diavalo is always good.

I came here for a welcome dinner on the night before the wedding. I was only the +1 on the invite so I was grateful to be included because the food was delicious! Our large party were the only people in the whole restaurant and we were LOUD so I cannot exactly judge the ambiance. The food though! I give the food a definite 5 stars, no doubt about it. Starting with the salad, it was delicious, had a little shaved cheese on top and not too much dressing thank god. Next course was rigatoni with tomato basil sauce. Not something that I would usually order because I'm very picky about the sauce, I'm used to mine or my mother in laws but this was surprisingly good, I loved it. Last but not least was herb crusted cod with a little mashed potatoes and spinach. It had a smear of sauce on the plate as well. The entire thing was delish. I was very impressed with the food at this restaurant, I'm not sure that I would ever go back because I don't live in NJ but if I am ever in the area, Gregorios would for sure have a repeat customer.

Four of us had dinner at Gregorio's on Saturday night. The restaurant was packed and our service was slow to begin with. We finally found our server, and the service improved and was perfect for the entire meal -- but slow in getting the check. Everything was very good. Caesar salad, mushroom fettuccine, beet salad and carpaccio were all excellent. We will continue to dine here.

I was traveling with a group for business and none of us are from the area. We were surprised that the restaurant was BYOB! So, be sure to bring your own bottle of wine for the adults who imbibe and/or sippie cups of juice for the little ones. The beverage options appeared to be tea, coffee, soda, sparkling or still water. The service was friendly and attentive. We tried a variety of appetizers including the large combo platter of dips that were a crowd pleaser. They were served alongside dense, warm, fresh rounds of yeasted bread. They used sliced carrots as little barricades between the dips on the large combo platter which worked very well (We would have loved an option to have a platter of fresh veggies like cucumbers and carrots to scoop up the dips. The bread was much more dense than pitas and flatbreads we'd had before but, it was delicious nonetheless) We ordered an array of kebabs for dinner. Everything was delicious and juicy. The crispy shaved lamb was the best thing on the table but the beef and chicken dishes were also delicious. The rice is very moist and cooked with caramelized onions. There were some delicious roasted vegetables and tzatziki served with the meats that further enhanced everyone's enjoyment. We wrapped it up with baklava that was served warm and perfectly cut into Shareable squares. This is a great Mediterranean spot and we all would return again if we find ourselves in the area.

The hummus is no longer a standard served to every table without cost. They still serve the pita and olives, but hummus is now an extra. You can thank Trump for that extra cost as per the response to our inquiry. We've now dined here several more times. It's a favorite, as it's consistently excellent. Our most recent meal was an order of hummus, which is ample for 2-4 people, the beet salad and the special crab cake appetizer, which was better than any I've had all year. Seriously exquisite. While we've sampled many of the menus main courses, all of which we have enjoyed, we went with two orders of our favorite, the tiger prawns, as they were said to be extra, extra large this evening. Served with tasty sautéed spinach and fries, which we were graciously permitted to substitute for the lemon potatoes. The tiger prawns are beyond great. Simply delicious and must be experienced. Better than lobster and rival any type of superior crab or any shellfish. Call ahead to be sure they have them when you plan to dine. This place is not to be missed.

Despite the moderately upscale ambiance and clean, contemporary aesthetic, the emptiness made us wonder: did we miss a memo? Was there a sudden local embargo on Mediterranean food? Luckily, the dining room eventually filled up, saving us from eating our dinner in a complete echo chamber. My dining companion and I started off with the Hummus appetizer ($11) served with a modest side of toasted pita. It was tasty and definitely hit the spot. We both decided to keep things light and ordered salads with a side of grilled salmon. I went with the Marouli salad ($16) -- crisp romaine lettuce, dill, and scallions with a lemon-olive oil dressing -- and my companion chose the Greek Village salad ($19), a shepherd-style salad with cucumbers, tomatoes, red onions, Holland peppers, feta cheese, olives, and Greek dressing. Both were fresh, well-prepared, and hit the mark. The salmon was also delicious, which is a good thing, because it came with an $18 upcharge that was not listed on the printed menu. For dessert, we ordered the baklava ($13), three pieces of an already intensely sweet treat that had apparently been subjected to an excessive dusting of powdered sugar. As for the service, our server and the food runners were competent but not overly friendly towards us or other diners. I also noticed that the staff tended to take care of tables out of order in which they were seated.. resulting in diners who arrived after us being served before us. Overall, it's a perfectly fine 3-star experience. I'd gladly go back if someone else was picking the spot, but if I'm the one in charge of dinner plans, I'll probably cast my net elsewhere in the area. PRO TIP #1: Bring a bottle of wine or beer from home or stop at the Wine Shop liquor store located on the opposite corner of the intersection of Main Street and Millburn Avenue for some adult beverages to enjoy with your meal. EVOO & Lemon is a BYOB establishment and does not serve alcohol. PRO TIP #2: EVOO & Lemon does not have a private parking lot, but there is plenty of on-street parking and municipal lots nearby. Use the mPay2Park app for the pay-by-plate meters ($0.50 per hour). Meters operate Monday through Saturday from 8am to 7pm; all street meters are free after 7 pm and all day Sunday. If the street is full, the Essex Street parking deck (24 Lackawanna Place) is a reliable backup.

The ambiance fit the name perfectly -- subtle hints of blue throughout that tied right back to "d'Azur." We started with a glass of bubbly and focaccia served with three spreads -- the olive tapenade stood out over the butter. For the first course, I had the duck confit salad -- the duck portion itself ran a little light, but the flavor balance was excellent: sweetness from the strawberries, bitterness from the arugula, saltiness from the goat cheese, and umami depth from the duck confit. It's BYOB, we brought both red and white wine to pair across the meal. The table shared the Branzino with French chard, which was outstanding, and the steak frites, which was exceptional and perfect medium rare. I had the duck breast with mushroom, paired with a Pinot Noir -- a great match, and that same Pinot Noir worked beautifully with the steak too. To finish, we shared three desserts: crème brûlée, chocolate truffles with strawberry and pistachio, and a cognac cake topped with a chocolate whipped mousse, walnuts, and strawberry. Tough call on a favorite, but the cognac cake stole the show. Throughout dessert, the staff kept checking in without ever feeling intrusive -- a small thing, but it stood out. A great night out with drink, food, and cousins from start to finish. The service alone is worth going back for. Highly recommend.

The portions are generous, which is good. But the prices are still outrageous for the location and vibe. It is BYOB for alcohol. We walked in on Sunday at 6pm without reservations and by 7pm, the small space filled up. The $12 hummus was bad. Store bought hummus of the cheapest brand tastes better. Seriously don't understand how a hummus can taste so bland and meh. No seasoning? The pita that came with it was low quality--it gave my friend an allergic reaction right away [he has sensitivity towards poor quality flour products]. $44 paidakia--lamb chops--had 4 chops that were tender and delicate. Asked for potatoes to be sutstituted for brocollini, but the kitchen did not follow through with that ask, even though our waitress confirmed it was possible. $39 lamb souvlaki was a solid dish. Filling and hearty. Good quality meat skewer. Smoked eggplant puree had a very strong smoke flavor. Lemony potatoes had bright, refreshing lemomy flavor that we appreciated.
