It's no wonder why this spot has been around for 45 years... it is absolutely excellent! The atmosphere is unique, quaint, and cozy, with excellent service! Walter along with the entire staff treated the dining room like royalty. Their full service bar has lovely house handcrafted cocktails in addition to wine and other spirits of your choice. We loved the seasonal strawberry margaritas! The menu offers a nice variety of high quality steak and seafood, that was simply delicious. I also loved the live piano player throughout our dining experience. This spot makes for a lovely date night or family dinner. Would absolutely recommend The Grand Cafe!

We drive past this restaurant in downtown Morristown all the time and finally decided to call to see if we could get a last-minute table for an early dinner. We weren't dressed up, and I'll admit I was a bit nervous about being underdressed--but that concern vanished the moment we arrived. We were warmly greeted and treated as if we were dressed for a royal affair. From the moment we stepped in, the service was impeccable--not just from our main server but from the entire team. Every staff member was attentive, from those bringing bread and drinks to those checking in just to ensure we were enjoying ourselves. The owner personally stopped by to make sure we were having a lovely time, which added an extra touch of hospitality. The venue itself exudes classic elegance--it feels like "old money" charm and could easily be a backdrop for a scene in The Godfather. For dinner, I ordered the classic Caesar salad, pan-roasted Angus filet mignon with potato au gratin, and the chocolate soufflé. The salad was what you'd expect--fresh and well-prepared. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly and served in a surprisingly generous portion. The chocolate soufflé must be pre-ordered, and while my husband loved it, I realized I personally prefer a lighter, airier chocolate cake--but that's simply a matter of taste, not execution. Overall, the exceptional service and warm hospitality are what will bring us back again. ------------------------------------------ "Because dining is more than food - it's flavor, style and elegance that should be savored one bite at a time." - AMC

This was 2nd time here and again spectacular. Got a table in the corner overlooking the whole room. Beautiful atmosphere, perfect lighting and fast service. We had the escargot, calamari, filet mignon and the sea food pasta. Everything was perfect. We'll be back

Ordered: Wild Mushroom Ravioli with a Truffle Brandy Cream Sauce New York Angus Sirloin with a Red Wine Demi Glaze: with mashed potatoes, carrots, and green beans Belgium Chocolate Mouse Torte with Vanilla Ice Cream Aya's take: Came to The Grand Cafe for a business dinner (so no specific prices available). They have an upstairs section which you can book for your private party along with a bar area. It has an "older" feel to it, so if you like a more modern ambiance, this place is not it but it certainly has its charm. I particularly enjoyed the ravioli, the sirloin was cooked to a perfect medium, and the mashed potatoes was a nice side to accompany the sirloin. The dessert was pretty mediocre, to be honest, but otherwise, it was a good time!

A SOLID 5 STARS!!! The Grand Café took my breath away with its excellent Service, Food and Ambience! Last Tuesday, a friend and I were driving around Morristown and accidentally took a wrong turn. Actually, the long turn turned out to be a blessing in disguise. I saw The Grand Café Restaurant and knew we just had to stop in for lunch! Luckily we were able to dine without a reservation. (However, I would definitely recommend reservations for dinner). You couldn't have asked for nicer outdoor seating. Because of the elegant outdoor ambience, one would forget we're in a pandemic. All the staff wore masks and gloves. We started out with a Diet Pepsi and Gingerale. When the beverages arrived, they were stylized as if they were fancy cocktails. The servers gave us a lot of time to look over the menu. In addition, they were very knowledgeable about the menu. For an appetizer, we enjoyed a wonderful Seafood Crepe. The Crêpe was filled with a variety of wonderful seafood on a very hot platter. Our entrées consisted of a delicious Shrimp Tempura and a Beet Salad. I chose to add wonderful gulf shrimp with the Beet salad. The place isn't cheap. However, you definitely get what you pay for. I'd like to say many thanks again to Angel and the rest of wonderful staff at The Grand Café! Lots of parking in the area. The Grand Café is by the court complex away from the busy Morristown downtown area.

Great food and drinks, intimate atmosphere, and very attentive service. I was just disappointed because there was no vegetarian entree available. Instead, I ordered a salad and some sides. Truffle mac and cheese was great!

Delicious dinner and fantastic service! I definitely recommend this restaurant for drinks and dinner. We started with the oysters Rockefeller and escargot. Both were delicious, the waiter even brought us additional bread for the escargot which was greatly appreciated. For dinner we had the lamb special along with a few additional appetizers (foie gras and stir fried duck). All 3 were delicious! The lamb and foie gras were out of this world delicious! Dessert was cheesecake and expresso martini's. If you love martini's you need to order one here. You won't be disappointed! Overall the food was delicious, service was great and overall atmosphere was wonderful!

Lively, bustling atmosphere, live piano music and beautiful decor! Transported back in time the minute you walk in the door. Lovely location, parking is a bet cumbersome, however. Great food, excellent service! Absolutely would recommend!

If one's a fan of healthy, natural, and delicious Mediterranean food, especially Greek food, one probably knows about this place. Described as a casual dining spot with an upscale vibe and the most delicious food this side of the Aegean Sea, The Address was our choice for lunch today. Located in the heart of a busy South Street, we were greeted by the host as first-timers without a reservation. Instead of being ushered to a table, my partner, his family, and I were asked which of the available tables that we would like. We opted for a table by the bar. The establishment was decorated in bright and inviting colors with olive plants throughout. It is a BYOB and also offers select California wine pairings. Their menu features Greek and Mediterranean cuisine, including entrées like Grilled Lavraki / Mediterranean Fillet Branzino and Grilled Chicken Souvlaki along with classic starters such as Spanakopita and Grilled Mediterranean Octopus. We decided on Grilled Chicken Souvlaki, Grilled Salmon, Fillet Branzino, Cauliflower Steak, and a side of Greek Lemon Potatoes for sharing. The food was truly top-notch, with every dish thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. One can tell there's real attention to quality and detail in the kitchen. Our meal ended with complimentary Baklava. The staff who worked there were so friendly and attentive. The price was reasonable. This place is exceptionally good for anyone looking to experience a top-tier restaurant.

I could not view reviews of dishes, so had to step outside to take a peak. Cannot justify paying such prices for dinning in a tiny, dark space in half-basement in the middle of NJ. Just can't. The portions are generous, which is good. But the prices are still outrageous for the location and vibe. It is BYOB for alcohol. We walked in on Sunday at 6pm without reservations and by 7pm, the small space filled up. The $12 hummus was bad. Store bought hummus of the cheapest brand tastes better. Seriously don't understand how a hummus can taste so bland and meh. No seasoning? The pita that came with it was low quality--it gave my friend an allergic reaction right away [he has sensitivity towards poor quality flour products]. $44 paidakia--lamb chops--had 4 chops that were tender and delicate. Pasnip pure was bland and totally a miss--did nothing to complement anything on the plate. Barely any demi lace sauce--definitely on the dry side. Asked for potatoes to be sutstituted for brocollini, but the kitchen did not follow through with that ask, even though our waitress confirmed it was possible. $39 lamb souvlaki was a solid dish. Filling and hearty. Good quality meat skewer. Smoked eggplant puree had a very strong smoke flavor. Lemony potatoes had bright, refreshing lemomy flavor that we appreciated. Service is attentive and quick. Complementary toothbrushes in the bathroom were a nice touch--a star for this little amenity.
