    Black bean soup

This place is tucked away on the lightly traveled Main St and it's easy to overlook as there's no large signage. A shame if you miss it - absolutely worth the stop! I chanced by about 30 min before closing. The greeting was still friendly and great service. Ordered the chimichuri steak sandwich and black bean soup. Soup was simple but loads of flavor and texture - the steak sandwich was epic. Super tender chunks in a delicious sauce with finely grilled onions. The raspberry cider was dry and crisp. Prices are on the slightly upper side but not out of touch for the quality. I am excited to come back and try more.

Sandwich special - Fried Cajun Chicken

Currently in soft opening (April 2026), but just a great place. Small inside but inviting and comfortable. Also has a large, nice patio area with covered tables with overhead heaters. Food was excellent. We tried the Mac & Cheese, Pork & Grits, the sandwich special (Cajun Fried Chicken), and the truffle potato salad with the sandwich. Balanced but bold flavors in every dish. One would not expect to find a restaurant with this caliber of food so far outside of the main Seattle and Eastside metro areas. The owners are local organic farmers (Down to Earth Farm) and a couple, Jeff Kyle and Molli Moss, and this new farm-to-table bistro is a winner.

What a delicious new find in small town Sultan! Enjoyed this farm to table bistro so much we came back 2 more times within one week. My hubby's all time favorite: royale with cheese burger! $16. If you have a hankering for a good hearty burger, then get this!! He never once felt icky and sluggish after eating the burger here like he did at most places. These are hand formed quarter pound angus beef you can tell it's freshly made! For sides, you can choose from truffles potato salad, chips, soup, salad, street corn salsa, mac and cheese, chili lime slaw and they are all made from scratch. Wish they gave more chips they were so addicting. They use a hearty ciabatta bread but you can sub for gluten free flat bread for $3. My friend had the burning love with red pepper jelly if you want a spicy kick, he really loved his. My favorite: chicken and fennel sandwich. $17. Scrumptious grilled white meat chunks nestled with fennel salad/greens/yogurt sauce/red pepper mayo. It's a good size sandwich with all the right flavors and texture of a gourmet grilled chicken sandwich. I just love this one! The street corn salsa side was super fresh and delicious with a bit of a kick I loved it! Our favorite: coconut shrimp app. $14. Not your typical coconut shrimp. Perfect golden nuggets. No tails! Dunk in that special tostone sauce and occasionally offset with freshness from their chili lime slaw. Heaven. Don't pass up on this. Their $13 smoked salmon platter was great as well! House made blueberry peach cobbler with whip inside a pretty decent size ramekin. $9. Not cloyingly sweet or rich which I love! The yummy fruit against the crispy buttery crumble on the top is what make it! They don't have it on the menu and waitress may not bring it up after dinner so ask for it! They also make a cheesecake in house. Would get the cobbler every time! Fresh squeezed lemonade. $5. Get a free refill. Refreshing and perfect with our burgers and sandwiches. Their craft can kombucha was yummy it's $6. FYI: They have many craft can beers, flavored sparkling water, wine selection, and a kids menu. For ones who don't want too many carbs, they have salads and you can add a protein to it to make it a meal. There's no wheelchair ramp. You can earn points through toast tab. Plenty of street parking every time we have gone. I see people getting take outs. There's a decent sized covered and heated outside dining area that may appear to accommodate party of 4 or more. The restaurant interior is tiny with one bathroom. For party of 4 or more, I would recommend call ahead if they allow reservations. They were super patient and accommodating in answering all our dietary concerns and questions. They don't use seed oils and like I mentioned, you can get gluten free flat bread for $3. They have vegetarian dishes. Umami burger (bean based patty) and garden grinder. Lastly, they have a weekly specials board. This week, it was rockfish sandwich and side. Also their soup of the week is French onion soup. My friend loved her fish sandwich! There's something about leaving the hustle bustle of Monroe to a more chill laid back town of Sultan. Coming to eat here is our way to "decompress"!

Adorable little place and great food. Try the Mac and cheese. Can't wait to come back when the local farmer's markets are in full swing.
