If I didn't have a car full of stuff and hungry kids I definitely would've have stayed longer for one of the delightful margaritas she was mixing up. She offered to let me wait in my car for the 20 min it would take for calzones, and she'd wave to me out the window when they were ready. Even more shocking, she actually did. Even with a restaurant full of people, I wasn't forgotten. She remembered to ask if I needed plates and sauces, so I didn't feel like an afterthought just because I was choosing takeout.
