The service was friendly and patient as I was greeted upon entry and took my time perusing the menu. The restaurant was very clean and organized, not a lot of stuff on the walls and the bathrooms were in top shape which I appreciated. I ordered the classic double burger, with a side a fries and a cane cola. The burger was delicious! Toppings were fresh and tasty, and it made a mess with the sauces and condiments which is a sign of a great burger. It wasn't overly huge, a good size for my hands and they did get messy as I devoured this scrumptious burger. The Cane Cola was a nice accompaniment to try for the first time but not necessary to enjoy the burger. The fries were golden and crispy and quite a large portion for the price. I just wished the fry lengths were a bit longer as I received a lot of tiny pieces instead of longer potatoes which meant I was scooping them up in my hand to eat them. Not a dealbreaker, just an annoyance. The wait for the food wasn't very long, about 5-8 minutes and they brought the order to the table. I really enjoyed the burger and fries making this NOT just another burger spot but MTTBS = Must try this burger spot!

Went on Monday afternoon as I was on my regular driving route and ordered the crispy chicken burger. It came out looking smashing as they use a complete chicken breast, really juicy and the taste is pretty good other than it was a bit salty. The only gripe I had was the shoestring fries, I would have much preferred fresh straight cut fries.

Impeccable. The staff was genuinely kind and attentive without being overbearing. I felt welcomed from the second I walked through the door. I ordered the Avocado Salmon Toast paired with the beautifully pink and perfectly named Pink Flamingo drink. My friend went for the Sweet Berry Waffle and a classic lemonade. Let me just say--the flavors did not disappoint. The salmon was fresh, creamy avocado was piled high, and the toppings were thoughtfully layered. My only tiny critique (and I say this with love): the toast itself was a little too crispy for my liking. It made the dish a bit tricky to cut into, and the texture leaned dry. Next time, I'll definitely ask for it untoasted or lightly toasted. A softer base would really let those flavors shine without the crunch competing. Now let's talk about that Pink Flamingo--WOW. It was tropical, sweet, and honestly gave me vacation-in-a-glass vibes. I almost ordered a second, but adulting (and budgeting) called me back to reality. That said, it's worth every sip! I snuck a few bites from my friend's Sweet Berry waffles, and yep--I'm getting that next time!! Light, fruity, tasty!! I can't wait to come back and try more from the menu. Who knows, maybe next time I'll get to sample a few more dishes Seriously though--support local and give this place a try. You'll leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit.

Must try is the Costa Rican coffee served in a traditional manner. Next must try is their empanadas! Housemade and the dough is phenomenal. Filling we tried was beef.

The place was more than worth the wait, as it turns out. And it's still doing extremely well, given how busy it was and how long we had to wait for a table (almost a full half hour!) We knew going in that we had to try a few of the joint's most famous dishes, the Cinnamon Bun Pancakes, the Breakwich, and Emma's BLT. It was clearly way, way too much food but everything was so good that I had zero regrets. In particular, those pancakes are as flavorful and scrumptious as I would've hoped. The two savory sandwiches fared just as well, and it was clear that they had been assembled with a tremendous amount of care. The busy atmosphere was fun, and our server was friendly and helpful. Yep, I can see why Emma's has managed to stick around all these years.

The biscuits were just average for my taste, but the home fries were excellent. The eggs Benedict could have used a bit more hollandaise--something I'm sure they would have happily provided if I'd asked, but I didn't. The highlight of the breakfast was the special menu collaboration with Sanagan Meat Locker. The savory cornbread pancakes were outstanding--served hot with crispy edges, layered with pimento cheese, and topped with butter and honey. Paired with the blueberry sausage from Sanagan, it was an unforgettable combination. I really loved this collaboration with Emma--it was creative, comforting, and absolutely delicious.

Went in on a Saturday felt Like I was in a time warp to the 70's or 60's . Carpet on the floor, dirty tables, the customers from what I could see some of them looked like druggies. A lot of people going to the bathroom in groups. The only thing clean was the menu. Ordered a drink & nachos, drink took a bit. When drink arrived there was lipstick on the glass, asked for no salsa on the nachos, when nachos arrived salsa on nachos. Server/bartender gave no fucks about it. For others don't bother with this place. It will probably shut down just like the Wellesley location.

Last night we went again for the first time in a long time and sadly the excellent veggie nachos are no longer a thing! We reluctantly ordered the vanilla replacement (i.e. regular nachos) and they were just not good. (Also, another smooth-baby-food-style guacamole place. Ugh.) On the upside, the deep fried pickles were excellent. And the servers were great too (i.e., friendly, attentive, and followed all COVID protocols). TLDR: Great for when your primary objective is to watch the game, but probably don't expect anything special food wise.

If you want a reasonably priced steak frites, this is a great option. Also highly recommend the French onion soup. The mussels are also very good. As someone who likes an espresso after a meal, the coffee here is excellent. The pasta isn't very good but it's more of a French restaurant so wasn't expecting it to blow me away. The service is not consistent. Some servers are pretty good and some are not good. I've had servers mess up my order a few times, nothing major, just things like bringing me regular fries instead of sweet potato, or forgetting the side salad I ordered. However this was only two or three times and the other times went much more smoothly. The ambiance is okay, the patio when the weather is nice is much better than inside. Inside is a little loud and crowded if you go on a peak night. They leave the windows open in the summer and flies come in sometimes which is disruptive to your meal. On the patio they have heat lamps to take it into spring and fall as well, but I find they sometimes forget to turn them on/off in the in between periods and sometimes it's too hot or cold there. There is also on occasion a mess left on the ground by children dropping food which doesn't get cleaned up fast enough. This causes pigeons sometimes to start coming in and bothering tables. I haven't had this issue at other restaurants but they claim there is nothing they can do about it and did not offer anything to try to make the experience better for us. Anyways, I still think it's worth a try if you're in the area but it's not a place I would make a special trip for, as there are much better experiences in the city.
