Unique flavors of ice cream with Asian flavors. There's another case with traditional flavors

Was sad to see Sweet Room gone but glad that Harvy's is in its place. Harvy's is an ice cream franchise out of Edison NJ specializing in South Asian flavors. This location also serves pizza in unique Asian flavors. They didn't change the interior too much but did brighten up the space with a cute mural wall. The offerings are what makes Harvy's shine. They have lots of ice cream options from the traditional chocolate, vanilla etc...to unique Asian flavors like kesar pista, green mango & lychee among many others. They also have bubble teas, rolled ice cream, bubble waffles. They did keep a lot of the original Sweet Room desserts like the Mille crepe cakes & the mango sago type dishes. Service was excellent. Servers were very patient in explaining the flavors to us and offering suggestions. This is a great addition to the area. We can't wait to come back to try the other products especially the pizza!

Delicious, exotic ice cream flavors (fig, butterscotch to name a few), and you can tell they are all homemade. Although we didn't try the thin crust pizza, it looked tasty and fresh! They had caffeinated coffees and decaffeinated teas for patrons that would prefer to skip the caffeine. A nicely curated array of treats and snacks as well. The staff made you feel like family and were truly interested in crafting special treats for everyone in their shop!

The birthday girl turned 94 and it was her first time at Rigos. She loved it and is looking forward to returning. She chose the lasagna that came with bread and salad. I got the bolognese pasta that also comes with bread and salad. The salads were fresh and a good size for a side salad. There's a wide choice of dressings and a Caesar salad as well. The salads and hot bread came out first then a short time later the entrees. Both entrees were delivered quickly and hot. Both were delicious.. The drinks are self serve and the choices are sodas and tea. When they found out it was her birthday they insisted she chose a dessert . She chose the cheesecake and shared with me and it was wonderful. Thanks to the staff for making this special birthday a great treat for our family.

We're visiting family here…read morein Cary and based on our great memories of the place, coming to Johnny's was a must on our itinerary. I'm super super happy to say that everything that made this place so wonderful seven years ago is still here. The pizza is still spot on, the portions are still huge, and the value for the money can't be beat. The employees were friendly and attentive and made us feel welcome when we walked through the door and during our time eating . My notoriously picky son who was not here with us seven years ago loved the pizza so much that he told us that he wants to live here in the restaurant (and I'm not convinced that he's kidding). I don't know when we'll next be in Cary, but as long as Johnny's Pizza is here, they'll have loyal customers in me and my family. The pictures I'm going to post don't do the food justice, but by the time I thought to take pictures, the family had already started devouring everything.

The Good & The Bad…read more Honestly, I wanted to give this place four stars, but I couldn't bring myself to do it. Got a white pie, maybe 18" basil olives and meatballs Also got 3 large meatballs on the side And a woodford old fashioned The pie was genuinely good. Was it worth $90? Maybe... The only real complaint about the food is it wasn't cut cleanly to the crust. The meatballs were also above average; flavorful throughout. I ate just 2 slices (so far) But I cannot in good conscience recommend for anyone to come here based on my experience. Here's the part that's indefensible. I asked if outdoor seating was open and was told to sit anywhere outside and someone would serve me. After five minutes alone out there, I went back in, and the hostess again assured me someone was coming. Nobody did. I finally hunted down a waitress who didn't know if outdoor seating was even open -- she checked, came back, and told me I'd have to sit inside. Seating a guest is the most basic function of a restaurant, and I was told three different things by three different people. I ended up at the bar, which wasn't gross, but wasn't clean either. Small menu, long waits, and at $90 for one person you expect something closer to a fine experience -- not a rowdy pub with poor service. And that falls on management, not the staff.

Typical pizza shop menu, decent size eat-in area as well and it was clean. Great aroma of pizza when you walk in. Several folks came in for to-go orders while we were there. We walked to the counter and ordered an 18-inch pepperoni and three fountain drinks. $25 not bad! The staff was friendly and efficient. We had a seat at a table. The pizza arrived looking like it was from a commercial. Absolutely beautiful. It was a little greasy on top but nothing a few napkins couldn't deal with. The slices were huge as you would expect from such a big pizza. The pizza was hand-tossed. It was baked to perfection with brown bubbles on the crust and a golden brown bake underneath. The cheese and pepperoni were plentiful. The taste was wonderful. A very good pizza. Definitely will be going back. Good pizza is hard to find. This place is a keeper.

We had three different menu items plus dessert. The first was the Amat, a red pizza with tomato,…read moremozzarella, crumbled meat trio and oregano. This pizza was disappointing due to the presence of a greasy taste, which perhaps was from the crumbled meat trio. The amount of meat for the price was very low and although the crust was good and the other ingredients were good, that greasy taste was very distracting. The second pizza was the Why Not, a white pineapple pizza with prosciutto, pickled chilis (which we put on the side and didn't eat), mozzarella and pecorino cheeses. We found this pizza to be excellent with strong cheese flavors and very good prosciutto. The third main dish was the Wood Fired Cauliflower sandwich, with charred onions, serrano (which we did not include), arugula and tofu whip. The sandwich was excellent and I recommend it to the vegetarians reading this. Our dessert was the tiramisu, which was very good and a decent size. Overall, the pizzas were good (except for the Amat), but overpriced. The sandwich and dessert were excellent.
