There is both street parking and a parking garage nearby. I went later in the afternoon on a chilly day- I was the only one in line- I got the non- dairy filled with pistachio, dipped in pistachio with pistachios on top. I will say this time there was only a bite of pistachio inside- he was having trouble putting it in - the time before was so much better. It was good very simple but a nice post dinner treat. My friend ordered hers and had asked for a kinder bueno shell but got the cookie butter by accident. It is a little on the pricier side for being ~$7 for something with no toppings (if you don't include the dipped shell). I have visited the Durham location but this was my first time at this location. The business is located next to a yoga business. I was greeted when I walked in by the male owner. He asked if I had been there before and I told him that I had been to the other location. The shop was decorated very nicely with several tables and chairs inside. After deciding what I wanted I placed my order. I got a cookie butter dipped cone with a caramel core. I also got a brookie cookie for later. My cookie was nicely wrapped and put inside of a cute bag. The cookie was thick and very moist with a hint of salt. It was still soft the next day. I enjoyed the cookie more than my cone. I loved the cookie butter dip but my ice cream started melting really, really quick. read more

I originally found Simon Says from a Yelp Elite event, otherwise, I would have never known about this cool little ice cream shop! Simon Says is in the city center of Raleigh, so you may get lucky with street parking or just suck up the high parking fees in the parking garages. If you're already in the area, Simon Says Dip This is a great addition to your itinerary in the city, especially on a hot day. Their ice cream is really good and the dips are unique and unlike anything we have in Wake Forest. However, it's the half pound cookies that have me wanting to come back! So good...came here 2 nites in a row! Creamy, smooth and rich ice cream. Crazy-good dips and toppings. Tonight was Key Lime dip with strawberry toppings. Went in for a late night treat. They have a ton of options for the base, core, dips and toppings. I went with the Dulce de Leche Cheesecake and it was incredible. The ice cream is creamy, the core was stuffed with dulce de leche, dipped in cheesecake and topped with Cinnamon Toast Crunch. I went with the cone but unless you eat your ice cream quickly I'd suggest going with the cup, it melts fast! They also have stuffed cookies and freeze dried candies. Was so excited to see Simon Says Dip This open up in Raleigh since it's more accessible to us. Location is a bit hard to find since it is tucked back but it is spacious & with a nice shared outdoor seating area. As you could see from the menu, there's so many different t combinations you could make plus there's something for everyone. You could tell that the dips and toppings were carefully thought out & created. They were very flavorful. I loved the black sesame dip & it was perfect with the candied coconut! I also had my eye on the half pound cookies...They had a Dubai Chocolate one but unfortunately they were sold out that night. This place has the best soft serve ice cream I've ever had. And I've tasted soft serve ice coffee all over the country. It is super creamy and delicious. The owner takes great pride in making sure the ice cream is mixed with the perfect amount of air to achieve the perfect consistency. I've always loved drumsticks from the store with the filling, dipped in chocolate, with the cookies on the outside and now I get to make my own with their homemade dips!!! The owner Nathan is always there when we go to the Raleigh location and he is so nice and those cookies are SOOOOO GOOD. You have to try the brookie and the Dubai cookie.
