    Miso Ramen, beef

I was craving ramen and decided to check out my new neighborhood. I found a spot called Hashi Ramen and gave it a try for dine-in. The menu had a nice variety with plenty of options. I went with the ramen soup section and ordered the miso broth since I'm not a big fan of spicy. You can choose between chicken or beef, and I went with beef. They also offer two portion sizes, which I liked--since I usually can't finish a huge bowl, I went with the regular size. The portion was just right, and the price was very reasonable ($15 for regular, $18 for large). My order came out quickly, and the flavor was spot on--very satisfying. I also noticed the menu had a good selection of appetizers along with cocktails and beer, which makes it a great place to come back with friends for a casual hangout and good food.

Food was very good. We ordered damage, take wasa, tonkatsu curry, mentai noodles, and hiyashi chuka. The server was very attentive however, we were one of two tables being served. Altogether, good dining experience. The portions were quite big so we took home half of mentai and curry.

Came here by myself after calling out of work and wasn't feeling so well. Some of the best ramen I've ever had and I'm not even a ramen connoisseur like that. I was the only person in there mid day and the gentleman serving me was kind and very attentive. Solid prices and straightforward. The spicy ramen lunch special will have me coming back for sure! It's great to stumble into a place like this and it works out so well.

I have passed by this place many times. I decided give a try today. We ordered a large tonkotsu soup and a regular tonkotsu soup, to compare the difference. The large one has 30% more compared to regular for just three dollar more. The soup is good but it's not authentic Japanese taste. I think the owner is Korean. I have tasted many tonkatsu ramen. It is still very good. The fried oyster was fresh. I will Come back and try to curry

We were craving some ramen and wanted to try Hashi's signature fried chicken ramen. We ordered it in a larger size along with the katsu combo. The ramen came out first and featured a large chicken leg. The soup and ramen tasted very basic, but the most disappointing part was the fried chicken. The chicken did not seem to be fried in any way and was more boiled than anything. The meat was dry and tough, which was confusing because dark meat should be juicy. To make matters worse, there was a giant hard and raw clump of noodles that was uncooked. For the katsu combo, the fish katsu was much better than the pork katsu, which was dry and over fried. The dipping sauces helped but the dryness of the dish made it very hard to eat. The breading tasted oily and dense, and not like the light and crispy breading that I enjoyed. Overall, both dishes were a complete miss. I was very disappointed since I had a great meal here less than 1 year ago. After this experience I will not be returning even though it is right in my neighborhood.

TLDR: Hashi is one of those places that's great if you don't know what you want to eat. The ramen is decent, the curry is arguably the best item along with the izakaya small plates. I feel like I found this place late but it's a decent neighborhood option. The menu has changed many times but the ramen is decent and the curry is probably the best dish you can order. The small fried plates are good too. It's a place that has a lot of options and when you're not sure what to get - you'll find something. Almost like a diner. Reasonable prices, good for a quick bite.

Looks can be deceiving, and while everything here looked good, this had to be one of the worst meals I've had in a really long time. I ordered the tempura meal with the special chicken ramen. The tempura items were all hard and stale, while any condiments accompanying the tempura were bland and really uninteresting. The chicken ramen was really the worst offender here, the broth was also bland and uninteresting here, while the chicken thigh that they added onto the ramen was boiled for way too long and had no moisture or taste to it. Ontop of it all there were a clump of uncooked noodles in my ramen as well. Whoever the owner is please get rid of your cook and change your recipes

This is a very small hidden restaurant, I had high hopes for this but I was just underwhelmed. I ordered the tonkotsu ramen ($14) and miso ramen also $14. The tonkotsu ramen was decent but the meat was questionable, it wasn't tender which I expected it to be, it was more hard. The miso ramen was really disappointing, my partner got it with beef, the broth tasted like soy sauce. It was way too oily and salty. There was little to no service, albeit we were the only customers in the restaurant, our server disappeared half way. We were finished eating and waiting for our server to come out so we could ask for the check, we waited for almost 10 minutes and she only came out when customers came into the store and the bell rang.

Food was not as I expected, a little lacking spice. Maybe it is good as a diet, but my palate expected more. The ambienceis fine, and clean. Restroom and kitchen seems clean.

Late afternoon lunch stop for a quick meal. Shop was empty we ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen, Katsu Don and Onigiri Combo. The ramen was pretty decent good soup, acceptable noodles over all pretty solid. The Katsu Don was served with a side of soup and pickle ginger and radish. The Katsu didn't taste well, my guess it was around for a while. The onigiri rice was kind of disappointing, the Hawaiian style one was just a piece of spam, the salmon one was dry the mentaiko one paired well with the rice. Service was good, food was not amazing but will do the job. Overall not my first choice but will do in a pinch!

Hashi Ramen and Izakaya is a small and casual izakaya with comforting bowls of ramen, rice, curry, noodles, and more. The service is slow but friendly, and the food is authentic and delicious. * Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen (Large) $18.00 Deliciously spicy, rich, and flavorful-- with a pork and chicken broth base, firm, chewy noodles, tender roasted pork belly, crunchy bean sprouts, sliced green onions, and a soft-boiled egg. I ordered a large, not knowing how huge the portions were, and left with my stomach nearly bursting. * Hashi Curry Rice with Tonkatsu $20.00 My first impression was "$20 for curry rice and tonkatsu? Phew, that's expensive." But honestly, this was the best curry rice with tonkatsu that I've ever had. The tonkatsu was astonishingly crispy and well-seasoned, and the curry was thick, flavorful, and nicely balanced with spices. This was my partner's dish, but I couldn't help stealing a slice of tonkatsu every now and then.

Sol provided amazing service with a very friendly and warm personality, which was pleasant, but she also misinformed me about the tea costing money, which was a bummer. The ambiance is comfortable and welcoming with good music. I got the tonkatsu curry which came in a pretty decent portion. Although the curry is flavorful and deep in flavor, the tonkatsu is where the dish fell short. The breading disintegrating and fell apart with the slightest movement, where some pieces didn't even have breading on the bottom of it. The flavor of the tonkatsu was also lacking, where without the curry it was completely flavorless unfortunately. This place definitely has the potential of being amazing with their expansive menu, so I would come back to try their other selections or try other toppings with the curry. I do hope they continue to improve their tonkatsu though, since it's definitely a partner in crime with curry! Thank you for reading and best of luck! (:

Ask the Community - Hashi Ramen

Hey do they have any vegan options? My girlfriend is vegan and I was wondering if they had vegan options so we could both eat here. Thanks

Hi Nicholas M., yes, we do have vegan menus. However, our ramen does not have any vegan options.

    Japanese run or Korean run?

    Korean owned

Does their sushi policy still run true to this day? I saw a picture where it said they only serve sushi on the weekend, but it was two years ago.

    Not true

I'm allergic to MSG. Do they use it here?

Yes they do use MSG here.

Instant ramen or house made ramen noodle?

Hi VJ S., thank you for the question. We do not serve instant ramen. We boil the broth everyday for all the ramen soups.

I usually get the Japanese-Styled Chicken Ramen because it's the most affordable for its price value ($12.50). No tax has been added to the total. Love how it also has the most pieces of meat compared to other ramen bowls on the menu. I think the number of meat pieces has been increased for the better this time. Would say there're about 15-20 pieces in total compared to the 8-9 pieces two years ago. Got there at 8:40pm and the food hall is about to close in 20 mins. Quickly ordered, paid, waited 10 mins max in the seating area, and then received my food shortly afterwards. Staff is polite + patient + generous. Chowed everything down in 15 minutes or so. Here's the quirky bit: in addition to the price of the ramen, you will be temporarily charged an extra $5 as a deposit for the bowl. It's just more sustainable, and who doesn't want to save the planet while slurping noodles? Now, onto the ramen itself: it was decently good and satisfying. Honestly, I'm not sure how authentic this ramen would be considered, but it sure did taste pretty good. (Did it teleport me to Japan? Not really since I've never been in Japan. Did it make my taste buds do a happy dance? Absolutely.) I didn't think it was bad at all, but then again, my ramen expertise is about as deep as a kiddie pool. Here Dawan Ramen, take my 4 stars.

The chicken was tasty at first, but after a few bites it became too heavy. The broth was overly salty, the noodles were underwhelming, and the egg was not done well, the yolk wasn't that gooey, marinated style you expect, and the whites were runny and fell apart. The last time I came was in November 2025, and I had the shoyu ramen with pork without the drink (I think), which I remember liking much more. This one didn't compare. If I had to, I'd stick with what I ordered in 2025. Don't let the presentation fool you. The bowl looks good but quality is hit/miss.
