Ono pasta... I especially enjoy their alfredo. Both the shrimp & chicken is pretty good. Their seafood pasta is also really good.

They checked in frequently, and the food was pretty prompt. Food - The ahi tartare had some chips in between the ahi, and the whole thing was plated on some oil + wasabi sauce. I thought the sauce was complimentary to the ahi, and was not overwhelmingly strong. The tortellini was my favorite - the prosciutto add on (+$4) is a must! It was the most flavorful part of the dish. The tortellini sit on some pesto sauce, but I think the dish would've been a bit bland without the pop of saltiness from the prosciutto. The tiramisu had a pretty strong coffee flavor. I think I'm more used to the tiramisu from Asian bakeries, in which the flavor is more light and airy. This one was neither, but coffee lovers would likely really enjoy it! They provided complimentary bread as well with some fluffy butter on the side. The bread seemed to be overly toasted - it was hard to bite and the texture was not very soft. When my husband mentioned that the bread might be overcooked, the server said the bread was cooked fresh every day and seemed to be offended by the comment. Anyway, we didn't mean any harm. Just maybe toast the bread a little less? All in all, it was a nice place to dine in for an evening. Would be nice to have a glass of wine next time!

I've been here twice, trust me after the first time I had it I had to come back. They do serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner; but I had to do their breakfast cause I was kind of tired of McDonald's. The service was excellent, the staff gives you great suggestions if you're indecisive (that's me ‍and I have no shame about it lol). They also have excellent coffee, very smooth and make my coffee heart so happy. The overall feel of the restaurant is great! It's clean and gives off a high class diner feel. Reminds me of Anna millers on Oahu but with a fine dining feel to it with reasonable prices. So again if you're on Maui consider coming down!

It was my first time trying the chocolate cake. I spotted it in the case and immediately knew that was the one. Then the server asked, "would you like it warmed up with vanilla ice cream?" You don't need to ask me twice. That was a hands-down yes. And their tiramisu? Delicioso! But be warned, it's definitely a "pick me up." If you have a slice after 5pm, the espresso may have you up till 2am trying to solve world hunger with ChatGPT, ha ha. No dessert spread is complete without their waffle fries, either. So crispy and yummy, that salty-sweet combo never misses. Marco's is such a nice afternoon treat when you've had a rough week.

We've been coming here for years and I've always enjoyed my experiences here, but last night I had a dish that compelled me to write a review. The oxtail soup which is listed as a favorite is a dish I've been eyeing for a while, but it's usually been too warm for me to crave it. But last night was the night. I'm getting over a cold and it's been raining off and on for weeks. The bowl arrived at the table with a plate underneath - smart move because it takes some work to eat oxtail soup. Armed with my fork and spoon, I went at it. The first taste floored me. It was perfectly seasoned and I could taste the fresh ginger, the broth was a beautiful brown color, there was plenty of napa cabbage and it came with a dish of a scoop of glossy steamed rice and steamed carrots, zucchini and broccoli. Our waitress offered to bring over condiments so I went for the soy sauce - sprinkled on the rice and veggies, I noticed that the veggies might have had a little sesame oil flavor on them so that made me happy. A spoonful of rice dunked into the broth with some of the tender fall of the bone oxtail meat, and a little crunch of the napa cabbage and I was in absolute heaven. I tasted my husband's pork adobo and that was equally as delicious as always. But that soup - that's what really did it for me last night and stays with me today. I walked out of Tante's with a swollen and happy belly and a fresh, tiny piece of ginger stuck between my teeth...a treat for later.

But we were there to eat and not necessarily have Pau Hana time, I will say though some of those draft on tap sound excellent! Ended up ordering: -Ale Battered Onion Rings ($15.75) -Turkey Club ($22.50) -Beef & Pork Burger ($22.99) -Wedge Salad ($16.75) Those Ale Battered Onion Rings hit the app spot! Beer-battered in house and come with chipotle mayo dipping sauce, fried & light, not overly greasy, good with them using sweet Maui onions! Brother wasn't too hungry, so he ended up getting a Wedge Salad (LOL) but with extra bacon. Looked good too! Mom & wifey shared the Turkey Club - that was a BIG @$$ sandwich! Roast turkey breast with Applewood smoked bacon, mayo, lettuce and tomato between 3 slices of thick rye bread! Buggah was stacked! They both liked it, lean turkey with the fatty bacon, and the texture contrast of the fresh veggies made it tasty! My Beef & Pork Burger was a test to my cholesterol levels LOL! Near 1/2 pound burger made with ground chuck, cooked medium rare and topped with a pile of house roasted Kalua pork, lettuce, tomato, onion, crispy fried onions and BBQ sauce...was indeed a tower of a burger! Was pretty damn ono too! Burger got good char from the grill, and the kalua pork was flavorful and not dry at all. This burger didn't need a slice of cheese at all! Delicious! Maybe on our next time to Ale House we'll actually get some beers! Their daily Happy Hour specials sure are tempting!

It's a shame to see how much the whole setup has fallen into disrepair. The idea of no paper towels (dryers built into the faucets), no faucet handles, automatic soap dispensing and a way to open the door without grabbing the handle was amazing during the pandemic...but one sink faucet is completely broken and the other one seems to be struggling (sometimes the dryer works, sometimes it doesn't, soap dispenser seems not working so they use regular pump soap bottles from Walmart).

The chimichurri sauce was yum. 6) potatoes au gratin - 4/5. It was good, but the slices were slightly thick. 7) mushroom risotto - 4/5. God carb option. The sides are good to share with 2-3 people. The hostess who greeted us was incredibly friendly and welcoming, so we were excited to eat here. Unfortunately, our server, Denise, made the experience unpleasant from the beginning. When I politely asked for the drink menu, she responded, "Yeah, I'm about to tell you if you let me talk," in a rude and dismissive tone. My husband also asked for sharing plates, and instead of acknowledging him, she simply dropped them on the table without saying a word. We were dining with our toddler and specifically asked for a cup with a lid because he would easily knock over an open cup. Despite that, an open cup of water was brought to the table anyway. To make matters worse, the drinks were bitter, and toddlers fries were extra salty even after saying "no salt". Overall, the food and service were nowhere near what we expected. It's disappointing to spend money on what should have been an enjoyable vacation meal only to leave feeling frustrated. Based on this experience, I wouldn't return or recommend this restaurant.
