My team and I recently worked with Humbowl Wagon for corporate events for our employee appreciation and she was really flexible and easy to work with and many of our employees enjoyed her acai bowls, including me! Not to mention, her rates were very reasonable considering the going rate for acai bowls! They set you up with the basics of acai, granola, and fruits, and you can then add your own unlimited toppings of things like goji berries, coconut shavings, cocoa nibs, almonds, honey, and even liliko'i butter. I highly recommend the liliko'i butter and goji berries! She also sells her liliko'i butter directly to consumers and it's also available at Pukulani Superette. I would definitely recommend Humbowl Wagon for an event big or small, just need to make sure there's a big enough space to accommodate her van. If you're having a smaller gathering, I just saw she also has party packs available which serves up to 10 bowls and includes fruits and toppings of your choice. So cute!

Someone at the gym had mentioned to me a while back how good it was, so I've been eagerly awaiting this moment. There was no line, so I walked right up & ordered the Keiki Hapa Haole Bowl. It was ready within minutes & boy did it look good. At first bite, the acai was the perfect texture & on the sweeter side as it is mixed with coconut nectar. The toppings were amazing. That crunch of the granola & nuts in there was everything! Besides the fruits, it had coconut shavings, almonds, cocoa nibs, bee pollen, granola, & if you follow her on Instagram, she always talks about Tutu's lilikoi butter. Yup, thats' on there too. Also, don't be too disappointed when you gobble down all your toppings as there is more of that goodness on the bottom. So yes, you have enough for every bite. Another good thing is that her bowls aren't filled to the very top. I've had ones where as I'm going in for the first scoop, I've lost some fruits along the way. A little on the pricier side, depending on which bowl you get, mine was $12. However, if you look what's on your bowl, it's not just your generic toppings.

Aloha fellow BES' Kine Goodies Seekers!…read more I LOVE MANUELA MALASADAS so.stop by every time I go to Costco! They are right across the street so I may drive to the lot right next to the truck or just run across the street ! It's a cute, very clean food truck right off the hotel driveway & parking lot with parking stalls right near it in case you buy a bunch to take home. Or have a car full of luggage from your flight to Maui since it's just down the way from OGG airport. Malasadas put donuts to shame!!! ESPECIALLY if you like gooey fillings & toppings. My favorite ones are around Christmas but they have tons of regular fillings. I can never get less than three because I can't pass up my chance to try new ones. They have wonderful staff... especially the manager Sabrina...really know their way around dough and they do not scrimp on the Malasadas itself or the fillings! They ONLY cook just for you... so plan a few minutes wait but they have picnic tables under a tarp right there or you can walk around the other food trucks. But definitely at least take your first bites there while they're hot out of the frier!!! 'Only ONE piece of advice: ... G O. H U N G R Y !!!! ...

The truck itself is fun, painted with bright tropical colors and scenes, and they seem to be known for their loaded tots and bao buns. I placed my order on the touchscreen outside and then sat down to wait for my food. For lunch on this day I went with the buffalo chicken tots and the Island Piggy bao. The menu described the bao as kalua pork, BBQ sauce, tropical salsa, and pickled red onions. The buffalo chicken tots were described as buttermilk fried chicken, buffalo sauce, jack cheddar cheese, house made pickles, and ranch dressing. It took less than 10 minutes for my food to be ready and I sat down at one of the shaded picnic tables. When I opened everything up it all looked good, but I did notice that the tots were missing the house made pickles. I started with the bao and thought it was pretty good. The kalua pork was super juicy and the bao bun was light and fluffy while still holding together well. The pickled onions added a nice acidity and the tropical salsa brought good flavor. The only thing I did not notice much was the BBQ sauce. After that I dug into the tots. The tots themselves were cooked nicely with a crispy outside and soft inside. The chicken was good as well with a nice batter and the buffalo sauce added flavor while the cheese was gooey. The only thing worth noting is that the chicken was softer than expected and not very crispy. It worked since I did have the texture from the crispy tots, but it stood out. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. I would probably not order both a bao and tots again as it was a lot of food, but I would definitely come back for one or the other.

We came here twice and I got the 3 bao slider combo each time. - The BAO*CHICKA*BAO*BAO was one of my favorite sandwiches. - My second favorite was the ISLAND PIGGY. I got this both times. - the LITTLE PIGGY was good, but a little overhyped in my opinion. But good to try. - the DUCK DUCK GOAT was wildly disappointing. As you can see in the picture, all meat and almost nothing else. Maybe a few silvers of cabbage. But where's the goat cheese and the fig jam?!? We also got the ALOHA TOTS. Huge portion so that was nice. But the kalua pork was pretty watery and made the crispy tots go soggy pretty fast. Overall a solid spot. Definitely worth trying at least once.
