Omg!!!!! CAN YOU SAY ALOHA!!!!!! meet Frank and Mary, the most lovely people you could ever be so fortunate to meet! In the heart of Maui, these folks are serving up some Authentic Puerto Rican food with Aloha mixed in every bite! Located in an industrial area, dont be fooled, and dont overlook this gem! Please place your order in advance, as they dont do walk-in's...they were so lovely as we were unaware of the pre-order policy...they gave us 2 pasteles and some rice with gandules that was extra they made.....what a treat!!!

    I think they're called Empanadillas!

I've been here twice, trust me after the first time I had it I had to come back. They do serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner; but I had to do their breakfast cause I was kind of tired of McDonald's. The service was excellent, the staff gives you great suggestions if you're indecisive (that's me ‍and I have no shame about it lol). They also have excellent coffee, very smooth and make my coffee heart so happy. The overall feel of the restaurant is great! It's clean and gives off a high class diner feel. Reminds me of Anna millers on Oahu but with a fine dining feel to it with reasonable prices. So again if you're on Maui consider coming down!

This was definitely a guilty pleasure visit to Marco's. They're a great spot for breakfast, lunch,…read moreor dinner, but this trip was the kind where you just need some carbs and waffle fries with your bestie. It was my first time trying the chocolate cake. I spotted it in the case and immediately knew that was the one. Then the server asked, "would you like it warmed up with vanilla ice cream?" You don't need to ask me twice. That was a hands-down yes. And their tiramisu? Delicioso! But be warned, it's definitely a "pick me up." If you have a slice after 5pm, the espresso may have you up till 2am trying to solve world hunger with ChatGPT, ha ha. No dessert spread is complete without their waffle fries, either. So crispy and yummy, that salty-sweet combo never misses. Marco's is such a nice afternoon treat when you've had a rough week.

Even though we had the worst experience here we continue to shop here because they have what we need. As for attitude its like they dont like there job or it could be the fact that I aint filipino so they dont treat me like the rest of the filipinos that come in. like i said the store is awesome but the staff needs an attitude check. The older ladies in the front need customer service training or go find another position in the back.

Ever since then, this is the place I go because it is clean, lots of variety and single mom friendly prices. The have a plethora of fresh fish in large coolers on ice. When I say on ice, I mean on ice. NOT swimming in melted ice, but literally on ice. They have from opelus, mahi mahi, tilapia and more! I've been lucky to come across some fresh Moloka'i prawns here for a reasonable price. They also have a huge inventory of Filipino products from frozen to "fresh". I've gone here for some delicious longanisa, dilis (baby anchovies), vegetables and preserved items. Not to mention the Filipino desserts waiting at the check out counter enticing you to buy some for the drive home. I'm guilty of purchasing cascaron on a stick and wolfing it down as I'm driving out of the parking lot. On my last visit here I also see that they offer Western Union services too! Don't expect too much "friendly" service upon entry. It's really a self service market. But if you do need help finding anything, they'll assist you.

We've been coming here for years and I've always enjoyed my experiences here, but last night I had a dish that compelled me to write a review. The oxtail soup which is listed as a favorite is a dish I've been eyeing for a while, but it's usually been too warm for me to crave it. But last night was the night. I'm getting over a cold and it's been raining off and on for weeks. The bowl arrived at the table with a plate underneath - smart move because it takes some work to eat oxtail soup. Armed with my fork and spoon, I went at it. The first taste floored me. It was perfectly seasoned and I could taste the fresh ginger, the broth was a beautiful brown color, there was plenty of napa cabbage and it came with a dish of a scoop of glossy steamed rice and steamed carrots, zucchini and broccoli. Our waitress offered to bring over condiments so I went for the soy sauce - sprinkled on the rice and veggies, I noticed that the veggies might have had a little sesame oil flavor on them so that made me happy. A spoonful of rice dunked into the broth with some of the tender fall of the bone oxtail meat, and a little crunch of the napa cabbage and I was in absolute heaven. I tasted my husband's pork adobo and that was equally as delicious as always. But that soup - that's what really did it for me last night and stays with me today. I walked out of Tante's with a swollen and happy belly and a fresh, tiny piece of ginger stuck between my teeth...a treat for later.
