I went online immediately and found SERVPRO of South Kenosha County. I had no idea what to expect - price or time wise, so I called them. With a respectful and friendly tone, I received an estimate and what time they'd be at my home. They came ON TIME as PROMISED, moved my basement items then did an excellent and thorough job... at an extremely reasonable rate!!! Then I saw on their truck that they did Carpet Cleaning. I inquired about it. They said they use a product that de-greases the carpet and that they didn't use any soap or detergents. I requested a estimate, so they measured the all the carpeted areas and I had the estimate by email in just a couple of hours. Well, I am very pleased, not just because the carpet was extremely clean - BUT because 3 days later when I vacuumed it, I had to move the "carpet height lever" UP another notch because the carpet had been brought UP which PROVED to me the carpet was clean all the way THROUGH to the bottom!!! Weeks later on install day, the company EMAILED (not even a phone call) our PM saying that oops, sorry, they forgot to order the carpet. We are hosting a major event at our house and told them it has to be in no later than a week. They said they would put us first on the new install day. then morning of, call and say they will be there between 12 and 2. As of 2:30, still have not shown up. Called and spoke to manager, he was totally unremorseful, and said they would be there by 3pm. Again, pushing my subcontractors back another day because now they can't finish painting touch ups until tomorrow, date of our big party. Very stressful and unhappy with the experience working with this company, and I'm not sure they will be the preferred vendor of our Contractor going forward. Be warned if you value your time and schedule.
