Then we saw the Madison River Tubing truck and so I looked into them and what they had to offer. It looked and sounded so fun, so I decided to book it online. The process was easy and smooth. The website did say each person needed a Montana Conservation License, which I had to purchase separately on another website. It was easy enough, however, I was never asked to present it. Maybe it was just in case. They also have coolers, dry bags, waterproof Bluetooth speakers, towels and waterproof phone cases for rental. We arrived on the day of our excursion at the "California Corner" and checked in. I had added a Bluetooth speaker and dry bag to our reservation. The river was flowing really fast while we were there, so our float was only about 90 minutes, but it was a lot of fun! You have to watch out for rocks and brush, but other than that it was a really fun and relaxing time. That water was a little chilly, but it felt good on such a hot day! We forgot how to use some of the features on the Solis we rented, so once we had cell signal, I just texted them and they responded! Our cassette toilet broke toward the end of the trip, but once we returned it, they didn't act stressed at all! They do have a Hiker's Box with free food you can take on your tripe, but don't get their marshmallows. They might've melted. Highly recommend if you're going to Yellowstone!

Blacksford seriously made the entire process seamless from the moment we booked. They reached out frequently, helped answer all our questions, and gave us great planning tips! The first time we rented we flew into Montana, and Bruce picked us up from the airport with the RV which our boys thought was the coolest thing ever! When we flew into Vegas, Cindee picked us up right from our hotel on the strip! It was not only so helpful it was such a fun way to kick off our adventure. They explained every detail about the vehicle, how to check tank levels, plug in, etc. so we had no concerns hitting the open road. They texted to check in on us throughout the trip and offered great tips and advice along the way which we really appreciated. The customer service is pretty exceptional and gave us such great peace of mind. The RV was super clean and comfortable and was basically brand new. We didn't have to worry about any of our creature comforts as they took the steps to stock it all for us. We had Instacart deliver our groceries to the RV facility and they even loaded it into the vehicle for us. Talk about going the extra mile! After a long flight and day of travel it was so nice to arrive and not worry about a thing. The National Parks pass was a wonderful touch, and the unlimited mileage was a great bonus. We rented the 24D View and had more than enough room for our family of 4. We loved being able to stop whenever we wanted to enjoy a sunset, hike a trail, or just have a picnic with breathtaking backdrops. Not only was it extremely convenient having everything we needed with us, it offered us the freedom to really explore. My husband and I were celebrating my 50th birthday the day of our tour, and I could not have asked for a more magical day. We were a little nervous since it was shoulder season, but those worries disappeared the moment we got started. From the first stop to the last, it was nothing short of spectacular. We were fortunate to see an incredible amount of wildlife throughout the day, but two moments stood out above the rest. First, watching a herd of bison, including a precious newborn calf, was breathtaking. Then came the showstopper: a bear emerging from hibernation. Elena spotted what looked like a tiny dot on a distant cliffside, sprinted to her vehicle to grab a telescope, and within minutes we were watching that bear in real time. It was one of those moments you genuinely cannot believe you are witnessing. That brings me to another wonderful perk of this tour. While en route, the driver rear-ended a fully stopped vehicle at highway speed. The impact was significant and airbags deployed. My wife and two children (both under 10) were in the vehicle. EMTs evaluated us on scene and, thankfully, everyone ultimately recovered, though there was bruising and soreness following the collision. What was most disappointing was the lack of follow-up or care from the company. We had to initiate contact ourselves days later and never received any meaningful outreach, apology, or effort to ensure our family was okay or to take ownership of the situation. Accidents can happen, but how a company responds matters. I waited several weeks to post this to give them time to do the right thing.
