Most people see Dr. Yury because of his hormone therapy. He understands hormones and hormone…read morereplacement. I have never needed this though. The main reason I have seen him in the past is because he has been willing to call in prescriptions for me when I am unavailable to come in and need something on an emergency basis, the office's willingness to fit me in on a moment's notice, and that when I am sick, he gives a shot of celeston to make me feel better instantly plus the antibiotic. Well, his bedside manner, in a lack of better words, sucks. You go into his office and meet with him. He barely looks at you and is hardly congenial. You feel like you almost inconvenience him by being there. He has a T-shirt on the back of his door that says, "I'm not a gynecologist but would love to take a look." Is that really appropriate? He used to refill prescriptions without hassle, especially since he knew I wasn't abusing them. My pharmacy called him up to request the refill extension and he denied it. He has said that he gives prescriptions to people he knows are drug addicts because it's safer for him to write the prescription than to buy it on the streets. Are you kidding? Yet you deny my prescription? If you need hormone treatment, then see Dr. Yury. Otherwise, go somewhere else.

Dr. Yury is around 83(?) years old and the best we've found at what he does. Been seeing him for 3 years and he knows his stuff, is always attending continuing education seminars, etc. Doesn't sugar coat his info. He doesn't examine you - it's done at his desk. Basically does history, blood test results, feedback as you progress on your plan. Actually takes insurance - yes! Have paid out of pocket for some other people just to see if they had more insights, etc., but didn't provide anything more than what Dr. Yury had already said. He is quick to get you in and will do anything possible for you if you have an urgent need. He takes the time you need (sometimes really long and sometimes super quick) rather than a set amount to get to another patient. He has a direct line to the pharmacy and they will do whatever he says. Has his own blood draw lab in the office that also takes insurance so no need to wait in long Quest lines. Also has lots of supplements, vitamins, etc. Was leery at first that they wanted to sell me a bunch of stuff, but he's only recommended items 2-3 times over 3 years and they don't seem to really mind if you choose to get it elsewhere. Free parking, although get there 10 min early to get a spot and walk in. Highly recommend if you want an anti-aging/hormone MD (for men or women), particularly one who takes insurance.

I was on a path of self-destruction and was able to right myself towards a path of recovery wholly due to the care, compassion, counseling, therapy, and education imparted by the Lighthouse Leadership Team and Staff. This is a truly an exceptional program focused on a holistic approach to rehabilitation and recovery. All facets crucial to a healthy and successful launch to recovery are carefully addressed, focused on restoring physical, mental, and emotional states of well-being. Physical health is carefully monitored and medical needs are addressed and met by a competent and compassionate medical team. In addition to 24 hour access to snacks and beverages, nutritional needs are met by an outstanding kitchen staff, where healthy, well-balanced, freshly prepared and delicious meals are provided three times a day. Psychological education essential to the recovery process is imparted by well-trained and empathetic personnel whose compassion and dedication is readily apparent from day one. Both a licensed counselor and therapist are personally assigned to each client for one-on-one weekly meetings, who also have an open door policy to effectively address any needs related to your treatment progress. The facility itself is clean, peaceful, and well-maintained, providing comfortable accommodations and an overall environment conducive to a smooth and successful recovery. It is important to emphasize how critical and effective the Lighthouse Staff and Team were in launching me to an overall state of well-being, where the daily encountered challenges of life we are overcome with understanding, patience and compassion. These are the attributes I encountered from the staff during my treatment at the Lighthouse and I am proud to be an alumnus to carry on this tradition of a program that ultimately saved my life and paved the way for a happy and healthy future. My case manager, Sarah was absolutely wonderful -- so down to earth, responsive, and genuinely advocated for me constantly and in my corner every step of the way. She made navigating everything feel manageable when I felt overwhelmed. The therapy team is exceptional. Amanda, Kristin, Rylee, and Nick each brought something unique to the table, and together they created a space that felt safe, challenging, and real. You can tell they actually collaborate and care. And program director Christiane sets the tone for the whole program. It's organized, compassionate, and focused on actual healing, not just checking boxes. From attending IEP meetings to ensuring that our daughter not only achieves her goals, but masters them, Marisa has been a Godsend. Our other BTs are Johannah, Tiffany, and Crystal. The field of behavioral therapy is particularly challenging, with a very high turnover rate, and we have been incredibly blessed with therapists who pour their heart and soul into their jobs despite how demanding--and challenging--the industry itself is. We have had other therapists in the past--also from Spectrum--and the level of education and care is consistent. From Jassiel and Hang at the front desk, to our main gal, Marisa, everyone at Spectrum is incredible.
