The condiments containers were different. Now vinegar and soy are in plastic squeeze bottles that are not wiped clean after each use, so they're gunky and sticky around the tops. Even when eating in, some food is served in disposable containers. We had Dixie plates instead of regular plates. (Maybe we shouldn't really need plates?) The big colorful menu with pictures was no longer there so I wasn't sure what to order as it was my first time there. We went with their recommendations. We would certainly go back and try new things. I hope they make it.

We were there for my son's birthday and I can't say enough good things about them. The hostess and the servers were very friendly and the hibachi chef was super entertaining. I remember when hibachi restaurants first came to St. Louis. They were a big deal and they really put on a show, but in recent years it seems like they have become lackluster. These chef really go out of their way to entertain you during the entire cooking process. We really had a lot of fun; our chef was very personable and made my son's birthday special. If you let them know ahead of time that you have a birthday, they will come out and sing and beat a drum and give the birthday person a free dessert. Other hibachi restaurants charge you for the service but they do not. That's a huge plus. I brought my own candles and gave them to the hostess before our dinner and they had them lit on the piece of cheesecake when they brought it out. The chef cooked everything to perfection and their noodles and rice were also very good. The sushi was great too!

Not a lot of the basic traditional ones for more picky eaters or those just wanting to start trying sushi.
